We always enjoy ourselves whenever we come here, whether it be for a coffee, a drink or a meal, so took our friends here for Sunday Lunch to celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary.
Like normal, all of the staff at this Hotel and Restaurant are superb. They are so welcoming and friendly, whilst still being extremely efficient! We were very fortunate for our meal to coincide when Duality were performing, who are excellent.
For starters two of our party had mussels, one had the baked camembert whilst I had the crayfish; for mains the men chose the roast beef from the carvery trolley whilst the ladies had baked cod with chorizo; only our guests could manage any dessert with one choosing the crepes and the other a hazelnut/meringue/cake creation. All of the food was delicious and beautifully presented.
The lovely surprise was that the hotel then brought out a cake embellished with the words "Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary" for our friends. What a lovely gesture and so unexpected. It really made our friends' lunch extra special.
Thank you so much everybody at the Langham for another fantastic lunch. It's always a pleasure to come here. Hopefully see you again soon.

Just back from another weekend at the Langham. It’s a credit to the management & ownership that they maintain such high consistent standards. Nothing is to much trouble & the staff are actually happy in their work & day that it’s a great place to work. The whole hotel is very comfortable & food was very good. Relaxing bar & room was spacious & bed was very comfortable. A joy to stay there.

The weather was awful but we didn’t mind. Arriving at lunchtime we had our bags quickly stored to find them in our rooms later. The bar man took time to chat and helped us pick drink we might never have tried. No rushing us away from our tables and time chatting watching the sea.
Meals were superb and no buffet at breakfast, everything served fresh to the table.
The room was small and the bathroom even smaller but absolutely spotless. It was fine for a short break. Look for their out of season deals as they are such good value.

Thank you to the staff at the Langham who helped make my mum's 86th birthday a memorable occasion. Apart from the delicious Afternoon Tea, a birthday cake with candles was presented by our waitress. This was totally unexpected and a really nice thought which was much appreciated. The whole afternoon was an enjoyable experience and mum said she would always remember this birthday. We were seated in the conservatory overlooking the sea and this added to the ambience. From the moment we walked through the door the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would thoroughly recommend The Langham - a very enjoyable afternoon.

On arrival was plesantly greeted and coats taken at reception. Was then taken to our table at the front of hotel looking out to sea.

Staff where superb, when asked why we had flowers at the table my aunt explained it would have been her 50th wedding anniversary so they came back with a glass of complimentary bubbly for us which was a lovely thought. Superb a lovely treat for anyone, with delightful surroundings, staff and views.

Following a superb stay at The Langham last February we returned this year to repeat the experience and were not disappointed. The staff are second to none - cheerful, friendly, helpful and efficient and the fact that they all seem to enjoy working here says it all. The rooms (we stayed in a superior sea-view double) are well-designed, spotless and comfortable and the views glorious (especially with blue skies and sunshine!). We notified the hotel of my mother's mobility issues and they allocated her a room which was easily accessible from the lift. The evening meals are of a good restaurant standard and the breakfast experience (full waiter/waitress service) enhanced by the views from the conservatory overlooking the sea. The location is excellent and it was a joy to be able to take a pre-breakfast stroll along the beach to work up an appetite. We took advantage of the winter deal for dinner, bed and breakfast, which was extremely good value. We look forward to a return visit in 2021!

We had a three day break; bed and breakfast as we in Eastbourne for a concert at the Congress Theatre. We had pre-booked a parking bay (£9 per day), which is a must I think. A magnificent sea view room. The served breakfasts were first class. The one evening meal we enjoyed was again excellent. This hotel is a gem on the south coast. The quality of food, facilities, ambience and most of all the staff cannot be faulted. A reflection of a strong management I suspect. We will be back.

Attended the Sunday jazz lunch. Amazing food service and music. Really enjoyed myself. It was my mother’s birthday and they surprised her with a complementary birthday cake - delicious! Great price and would go there again.

We have just spent the weekend at the Langham for a Ladies Festival .It ran like clockwork staff fantastic Wendy Neil and the staff looked after all our guests and took the stress out of the event.

We needed a break! The Langham was ideal. Careful attention given to each guest but in an unobtrusive way. Our room was immaculate. The bed was comfortable and we had a lovely view of the sea when we sat up in bed. The food was good, very good. We were rather surprised that our breakfast was served to us, there was no 'serve yourself.' We returned home fully relaxed.

The breakfast the following day was standard, with over 10staff hired for a morning shift with less than 5 tables, yet we still waiting for service.
I would recommend the hotel to stay however with no food.

We enjoyed our one night stay . Pleasant clean room with a view of the sea. Friendly efficient staff. Lovely breakfast in the conservatory with a nice outlook.

We spent a wonderful weekend at the Langham. Our room was clean, comfortable and had tea, coffee and water which was complementary. The breakfast was great, afternoon tea and dinner was also very good. The staff provide a brilliant customer service and are very friendly. We will definitely be visiting again and would definitely recommend a stay.

Excellent accommodation with a complimentary room upgrade. Fantastic sea view. The room was well equipped and modernised, was comfortable and warm.
Breakfast was warm and served quickly by friendly and efficient staff.
Room service was first class and the food was perfect.
Very courteous and friendly staff throughout.

Would definitely visit again.

Stayed from Friday to Sunday morning in party of 80. [our first stay]. Warm welcome by Proprietors and Management which set the tone for our visit. Nothing too much trouble for excellent staff and award winning food for last four years including 2019 - 2020.
My Vegetarian option was truly lovely and much thought had been put into its' creation.
Very clean hotel and room comfortable. Our party was organised around a "60's" theme weekend and our friends have been going to the Langham for 10 years. We shall return next year.
Staff visibly happy in their work and when asked, said that it is a very good place to work - it shows! Thank you.
