This was our second Christmas at The Langham the last was 2 years ago, nothing has changed it is still a wonderful hotel. We stayed in Amberley suite which is very spacious with a huge bed, walk in shower in the bathroom also a safe in the room. It was cleaned every day to a high standard by a very nice friendly lady. The meals were excellent during our 4 days there. We took our meals in the conservatory which had a lovely sea view. There was entertainment every night. Another thing I would like to mention about our room is you get to see the most wonderful sun rise each day. we hope to be able to return soon to this cracking hotel soon....

Booked to stay here following a trip to see family in belgium then a visit to Eastbourne to see more family. Well I have to say we were very impressed, I called through earlier to advise we would be checking in later in the evening, this was not a problem for the reception staff. We arrived earlier than expected, again not a problem. Check in was very easy and staff very friendly. Room though compact is excellent, it’s clean had tea, coffee and drinking chocolate, plus bottled water. Room and shower are exceptionally clean, which is great, included in room are bath robes and slippers. Can’t wait for breakfast in the morning. 👍🏻would definitely book again and recommend to friends and family

We have just spent another fantastic Christmas in this wonderful hotel. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable and very clean. The food is first class with lovely menu options. The staff are courteous, helpful and all with a sense of humour making a very enjoyable memorable stay. With a visit from Santa, entertainment on every day and a trip to the pantomime the time passed too quickly. It was such a good package that again we have already booked for next Christmas.

This was our second stay at the langham and it completely lived up to expectations. The hotel is right on the seafront and a short walk from the town centre. The room was very comfortable, the hotel was spotlessly clean, and the food very good. The staff were all very helpful. What more could you ask for.

We opted for a superior double room with sea view. Well worth paying the extra cost. The room was large and beautifully decorated as was the ensuite. If you wish to dine there make sure you book as we hadn't and was disappointed as they were full booked. We went with two friends and found that breakfast in the conservatory was a bit cramped due to the size of tables better to go in main restaurant. Could have had a slightly bigger cooked breakfast but what we had was good. Will definitely go back.

Stayed for four nights at this wonderful hotel. Cannot fault it at all. My room was spotlessly clean - as were all areas of the hotel. The food was hot and full of flavour. Some of the desserts looked like pieces of art they were so beautiful. All the staff are so well drilled in customer service. They all want to do anything they can to make sure you have a good stay. As soon as you enter the hotel you get a warm friendly welcome. All staff I encountered were polite, helpful and seemed so happy to help. Look forward to another stay here. Keep up the good work. Ah so.

I have just returned from a Turkey & Tinsel Break at The Langham Hotel. We were were a group of twenty one, most of whom where elderly. The kindness and patience shown by all staff was overwhelming. The food served was outstanding, decent sized portions, well cooked and beautifully presented. The hotel is well kept, spotlessly clean, and the rooms are well appointed.
Thank you.

We stayed for 2 nights in a room with sea view. The room was nicely furnished and had proper tea/coffee facilities. Confortable bed even though blanket not quilt. The staff were friendly and the rooms downstairs were also very pleasant. For breakfast we sat twice in the conservatory looking out at the sea which was nice. Breakfast was reasonable except for the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon (masses of salmon but the eggs were very poor, a little effort and it would have been very nice). Our only grip was no-one had informed us until we arrived that evening meals werent availabe because of Christmas parties both Friday and Saturday night... we went to have lovely meals elsewhere but it would have been nice to know in advance of arrival.

I stayed there for 1 night and I loved it. The Room was lovely, you got a dressing gown, slippers too. Staff is very nice and the Breakfast was lovely. The Hotel is well looked after and I would stay there again. The only thing I did not like was that you do not have a quilt. It is a sheet and then you have a blanket over it and a day blanket but for this time of Year you should have a quilt and I myself do not sleep very well without a quilt.

In celebration of our friend’s (Barry’s)70th birthday we (my wife Jill,Barry’s wife, Pauline and I visited on Friday30/11/2018 and enjoyed a well presented and delicious afternoon tea. Apart from the ambience of the lovely conservatory overlooking the sea we were very well looked after by the hotel staff especially Maria and the restaurant manager who engaged in good conversation with us to make us feel very welcome. In addition Neil and Wendy Kirby, the owners made themselves known to us and the whole experience made us feel very privileged in being there. I highly recommend a visit to this wonderful hotel. You will not be disappointed.

It's not the smartest hotel and the room we had was a bit tired, but the staff were so kind, helpful and accommodating it made our visit a real pleasure! The views from the hotel are spectacular as you are so close to the sea. Definitely stay in a sea view room and use the lovely conservatory for dining and relax in comfy armchairs in the lounge! A special thank you to Peter on reception, who went above and beyond in helping us with a car problem and to the fabulous restaurant staff, who met our every request so readily, especially Debbie and the flambé chef!

Visited this hotel at the beginning of November as part of a Tinsel and Turkey U3A group of twenty two.
We were greeted warmly on arrival and check in was efficient and speedy.
Our rooms were warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee facilities and tv and wi fi.
The food was hot and beautifully presented and it was such a joy to be served at the table for breakfast instead of the usual buffet scramble.
Every member of staff ( and there were many ) were cheerful, helpful and more than willing to please.
This hotel has got it right, could not find a single fault.
Well done management and look forward to a return visit

We have stayed many times at the Langham Hotel and have always had an enjoyable stay. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is comfortable and charming. Food is delicious. Excellent breakfast. I was staying on my own this time and have to say I felt very relaxed. On previous visits I have seen Ladies on their own. So great for a solo traveller I feel. It has a prime location on the seafront with a great walk into the Town Centre which is good for shops and theatres. They offer a very good rate for out of season. Also, I have been to their Jazz Sunday Lunches and the Langham Lunch Club, both excellent. To be highly recommended

We had a lovely 2 night stay in a standard double room on the 3rd floor, the room was very clean and comfortable with a modern bathroom. The service was good, very professional and we enjoyed having breakfast in the conservatory. Food was of a good standard, lots of choice for breakfast. We would have liked to have dinner In the restaurant as well but unfortunately it was fully booked for the Saturday evening, but there are plenty of places in the nearby town to have dinner at. Private parking round the back of the hotel is £9.00 per day but during off peak times you can probably find a space on the road.

One bug bear was that there was quite a large gap around the door of our room (329) which let the bright light from the corridor in and made it difficult to sleep as it lit up the small room. This could easily be remedied by the hotel by filling in the gaps around the door which would help with the drafts as well.

Overall I would recommend this hotel, it’s one of the better hotels on the seafront and has a nice bar to sit and relax in the evening.

I have recently stayed for two nights in this lovely hotel. This is my sixth consecutive year. The hotel has a great sea front location and is ideally situated for a short stroll along to the pier and bandstand or into the main town.

My room had been recently renovated and is comfortable and stylish with an excellent shower and very comfortable bed. The room and all communal areas are spotless.

I enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner and all meals were delicious, with a wide choice available and at a reasonable price.

But for me the highlight of this delightful hotel is the staff. Simon and his team are friendly, professional, welcoming and will ensure your stay is problem free and really go the extra mile. They make all customers feel valued and special.

Thank you team.

We have stayed at the Langham on 4 occasions and have loved it. However on this visit we were disappointed with our breakfast on our final day. Only one poached egg which was hard and served with only one slice of bacon which left alot to be desired. We hope this will be improved on our next visit.
