Two nights DBB in a splendid room made for a very enjoyable short break. The service and the quality of the room were outstanding.
Mostly, the food was good. Some tough leeks and undercooked potato stop me saying it was very good. Our daughter lives in Eastbourne and accompanied us for dinner and apart from that one course the other five were very nice.
We loved the sea views from our room and from the restaurant.

We had a very enjoyable two night stay here Friday - Sunday as we had decided to walk a long stretch of the coastal path.
We were in room 120, in the front of the hotel, very spacious and comfortable with little touches like delicious chocolates, hand gel, and even decaffeinated tea which was appreciated.
The bath towels were huge and the bedding very good quality.
After realising we were not allowed out on to the balcony we contented ourselves with working out how to open the windows, however there was no opening window in the bathroom.
There was some noise from the street but acceptable levels, however the pounding on the ceiling from the room above was a surprise in such a solid looking building.
One more disappointment was the shower head, those ghastly rain showers which are impossible to wash your hair under in the morning, the shower head towers so high above your head rinsing is impossible - but I managed to reach up and massage the nozzles so at least the harsh spiky jets of water became a little softer.
I was impressed with the hair dryer, very good.
Breakfast was lovely and unlike some hotels during the pandemic there was no feeling they were stinting you on choice - the staff seemed willing to provide whatever you wanted and were always helpful and pleasant.
I would definitely stay here again, maybe higher up and it would be ideal if there was a hand held shower! It's a very relaxing place to sit in the window and people watch, especially those brave enough to be venturing into the sea.

This was our second visit to the Langham, mainly for the Eastbourne tennis week, having held the booking over for a year. Unfortunately no tennis tickets available. However, we enjoyed five wonderful days at this first-class hotel, which had five-star features in many ways. The accommodation was excellent, our sea-view room newly refurbished, and the restaurants of a very high standard - every meal was exceptionally well presented and of extraordinary quality, well-deserving the annual red star.
All members of the staff that we met were pleasant and efficient, as well as helpful in many ways.

The position of the hotel is very good. The staff were very nice and attentive. Our room was spotless, the bathroom was small but absolutely spotless with everything we needed.

The Chef makes the greatest full English breakfast. And the rest of the food is excellent too.
The rooms are clean light and airy with great views of the sea which is practically on the doorstep. The owners are always available should you wish to discuss your stay.
The staff seem to be ever present which is a very good sign of the quality of the management.
We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

We were looking for a 3 day break on the south coast and were very impressed with the reviews that the Langham had been receiving so decided to give it a try. The hotel is very well placed on the seafront and everything about our stay was very good. The place was clean and tidy, the sea facing room on the third floor was very pleasant, the staff were plentiful and all very polite and helpful. The menus in the bar and restaurant offered plenty of choice and the food itself was very good.

Our first holiday this year after having to cancel twice due to Covid.As always Neil,Wendy and their team made for a wonderful experience.The weather was glorious and our Seaview room was spacious and comfortable. We ate half board and the service at breakfast and dinner was excellent.We thoroughly recommend the Langham if you want to be looked after properly, nothing is too much trouble.

First time at the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised. Room 323 was a double room which to be fair was a little smaller than expected. And the tv was too small for the room. The Biggest bath towels I’ve ever had and well laundered. Hotel def. value for money, fantastic staff especially the young waiters and waitresses Tia Aiden Palma and the others were so kind. Rooms were super clean and lovely touch of having water and Galaxy hot chocolate in the rooms. RESTURANT meal was amazing and presentation was Top class! Bar menu was extensive and good portion size. Amazing choice at breakfast and good covid measures taken. Will def recommend to friends and will come again, off site parking about 5 mins walk away, personally think should have a discount if staying more than 2 nights. Great stay and opposite the beach so not far to go to relax.

The food was awesome and the staff were very attentive and excellent when it came to catering for my daughter's allergies. We felt really well looked after. There was also some really lovely live music playing in the restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back!

Hi I had lunch at the hotel today with my husband and I wanted to say thank you lovely staff for the experience, the service was a 100% and the food, value for money and the view from the outside table area was just amazing.

Went for a Christmas dinner with friends of Devonshire Park Theatre. There were over 130 of us. The meal was brilliant it was hot and fresh fantastic roast potatoes. Service was very professional and staff really were polite and really good. The owner is hands on and kept his eye on things even clearing tables. He was warm and friendly. The hotel was clean and tidy everywhere. The event was well organised and went without a hitch. The food was good the service was good the surroundings were clean and tasteful. Thoroughly recommend this fantastic hotel.
Went for lunch to celebrate a significant birthday. Had 3 course lunch lovely food beautifully presented and very reasonable £28:00 for 3 courses. Service was really good very professional and friendly staff. Owner came around to ensure we enjoyed the meal very nice touch. Fantastic hotel.

From the moment we booked the hotel for a family weekend to celebrate a 60th Birthday, (pre-Covid) the service was excellent throughout lock down the hotel was always available to deal with any queries . Finally after a 12month Covid delay the we arrived with our kids and 3 grandchildren in tow for a great family weekend. The hotel was ideally situation on the beach front and within easy walking distance of the town. To make it easier we arranged to eat in the restaurant, the food was excellent and the staff were happy to adapt the menu to meet the needs of our Dairy/Gluten dietary requirements. All the staff from house keeping to management were friendly and efficient, always happy to help. The rooms were of a high standard and very comfortable. The weekend gave all the family many happy memories in a Covid safe environment. We would recommend the Hotel to anyone who is looking for a break in a friendly and relaxed hotel. Thanks to all of the staff and the Langham for a wonderful stay. Kevin and Lesley Brown

This hotel is superb. The facilities are good and the staff are excellent. I met the owner Neil in the car park who was extremely friendly and courteous. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we were made to feel very special from the start. the food is of a high standard. This is a family run hotel, but is operated to the same standards in our opinion as many 5 star hotels we have stayed in across the world.
We have only stayed in two hotels in Eastbourne, here and the Grand. This was of equal quality and standard. We thoroughly recommend this to any one and wish the owners and team every success they certainly deserve it.

Absolutely spectacular. Having a relaxing time in our room after a lovely meal, and our first post-covid overnight stay could not be more perfect. Amazing food, great location, wonderful level of care - if you are in the area, make Langham hotel your place to stay.

Recently renovated room on the top floor. We had a lovely gentle breeze through the window and the cooing of pigeons and squawk of seagulls. Plus rooftop views over the east end of the town. It was lovely and the room comfortable. Breakfast nice and the staff absolutely trying their best to be helpful.
