Brilliant hotel that has taken Covid measures to heart without spoiling any of the great experience.
Good for couples who want fabulous service at sensible prices.
Every member of staff is so personable with being over the top.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed returning to The Langham for Sunday Lunch and being able to see Duality perform again. The last time we were there to enjoy both the food and music was in March just before shutdown!
Yet again we weren't disappointed. Like normal all of the staff are superb, very welcoming, friendly and efficient.
This time for starters my husband chose mussels whilst I chose the crayfish salad and then we both had the carvery roast. Everything was delicious! Yet again we didn't have room for dessert but perhaps next time?
Duality are a pleasure to listen to and made our meal even more enjoyable.
Due to Covid regulations, you need to wear a mask whilst walking around the hotel and restaurant (although can remove it when seated at the table) and obviously the staff are wearing masks. The tables have been spread out to enable social distancing but that in turn means that there are less covers available to book.
I would therefore strongly advise you to book in advance in order to avoid disappointment as these Sunday lunches are extremely popular.
Thanks to all the staff at The Langham and Duality for a lovely afternoon.
We have already booked to return again on 27th December.

I live locally so didn't stay but every few weeks the Langham puts on Sunday Lunch with Jazz and it is a great value and very enjoyable. This was my first visit since Covid and I was impressed with all the precautions. Staff are an absolute credit to the management, friendly, efficient and so helpful. Sunday Lunch is great value and it is lovely to enjoy roast beef with all the trimmings served from the trolley ( very retro!) Good choice of starters, we had crab, prawn and avocado cocktail (wonderful) and hard to choose a dessert. Settled for their famous crepe Suzette. A welcome glass of Prosecco and coffee and mints at the end completed a fantastic meal.

The Langham is our go to choice when visiting Eastbourne and family nearby. Rooms are very clean and staff always friendly. Food is good at the hotel and also other nice restaurants nearby. Lovely walks along seafront either up to Beachy Head or the other way to Sovereign Harbour. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We have just spent a few days realaxing at the Langham for a welcome break. As usual, we had chosen a first floor superior sea-view double room with wonderful views out to sea and we took advantage of the table and armchairs in the bay window to enjoy them. The staff, as ever, were friendly and attentive and the food excellent; the room was spotless and very comfortable. All necessary Covid measures were in place and we felt that we were in a secure environment. Many thanks to all staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff and great sea-view rooms. Breakfast was included with the stay and it was good. The parking for guests was full. The one I’ve seen had only 2 parking spaces so most probably it’s always full. I parked on the road in front of the hotel. Pressure in the shower wasn’t spectacular, if that matters to you. I do recommend and will be back. Thanks!

The Langham is a really good place to meet friends to have a coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. In the summer you can sit outside and view the sea and pier. Staff friendly and helpful i would recomend.

The best hotel at the immediate beach front. A little stuck in the eighties, but that's expected in the UK outside London. Good rooms, breakfast, dining and staff. Wi-Fi is spotty at times.
Service at the bar can be quite slow depending on how many people are in the restaurant and in the bar area. Definitely could use some more staff on packed days.

Generally very good, but have to say the quality of WiFi is really poor

The hotel was clean and nicely decorated with all services working well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was small but adequate. Restaurant food generally good with fair prices. Bar prices a little high for some drinks. Parking was a problem and expensive to use their parking service. It was a nice sunny weekend which really did help the overall experience.

Not the largest of rooms considering it was called a Superior Double Room and the bathroom not on the large size. However very comfortable and with sea view as requested.
Breakfasts were very good especially with at times a table in the conservatory overlooking the sea.
Staff in all very good and helpful.
Would possibly stay again but in a suite if possible.

My husband and I decided to have a night in Eastbourne meeting up with my son and his girlfriend. We couldn’t stay in the same hotel as it was fully booked so we chose The Langham. Lovely, albeit small, sea view room which looked like it had been recently refurbished. Excellent shower and an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good with all covid precautions in force. Excellent friendly service throughout our stay.

We stay here a few times a year and its our first stay since lockdown. Wow its even more amazing than ever, very good social distancing measures in place, the hotel is spotlessly clean as always, hand sanitiser everywhere. The staff are just the best, every single one you come into contact with is pleasant ,polite and so professional. The food is lovely, good quality ingredients and presented and served beautifully. This has to be the best hotel in Eastbourne cant wait for our next stay.

We stayed in a superior room with a sea view. A very well kept and clean hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a varied and tasty choice for breakfast. We plan to stay here again on our next visit to Eastbourne.
