We stayed for a couple of nights in one of the four poster bed rooms, the room was lovely and comfortable with a great view of the seafront. The whole hotel was very clean and tidy and excellent management was in place for COVID-19 which made you feel extremely safe. The staff were great and attentive. There was only one small thing that let them down which was the quality (and lack of quantity) of the vegetarian breakfast, unfortunately the only word I can use for it is “disappointing” when compared to the meaty offering!

Lovely part of Eastbourne and the staff are lovely. The hotel is odd with carpeted was in the lift and a strange combination of modern and old fashioned decor in the room we stayed in. There are only 3 parking spaces which are £10 per day. Other than that there is a beautiful view and the hotel was very clean and presentable. The best thing for me was the restaurant dinner was only £25 for 3 courses and was outstanding!!!!!! Would go again

Stayed at the Langham for 3 nights , very nice hotel all round including great staff , location and excellent food. Both the breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Likewise the controls in place around COVID appeared effective without being over imposing.

Lovely Hotel, good attentive staff, great food..... and very good Covid Measures in place. The room we stayed in had a sea view was very clean and although dated was still more than acceptable. The lounge area was a nice place to have bar snacks and watch the world go by.

I booked a sea view single room and was pleased with the result - on the first floor with access to a small balcony it was impossible to fault it. The restaurant is very good although I think they could do with a special of the night, possibly some pasta variation, because after five nights had eaten my way through it and do not think a burger should have any place in a menu. That said a couple of the dishes were new and delicious. It is a bit of a trek in to town but the sun shone even if the wind blew rather strongly. The staff were splendid, especially the waiting staff who seemed to work alarmingly long hours. The Covid arrangements were good - masks in public areas but once you sat down to eat or were in the bar you could take them off and I liked the little sachet of sanitiser and tissues on the dressing table. I think Eastbourne needs a kick up the backside in terms of wanting tourists to come but that is no fault of the hotel - although the hoteliers' association ought to have the clout to see the town tourist set up does what needs to be done. It was a five day escape from locked down London and I could not have spent it in more congenial surrounding.

We have just spent 5 days at the Langham and found it to be excellent in all respects. The staff were very helpful and friendly, food excellent and location perfect. We booked a sea view room and it was well worth the supplement as the view was superb. Highly recommend - we will definitely return.

We stayed for 2 nights in a clean and comfortable sea view room. covid restrictions were in place and staff dealt with requirements in a calm and efficent manner.
All staff were extremely friendly and you could see that they all worked together as a team. Great Reception staff who were able to respond to any questions we had.
Would recommend to all age groups.

We recently stayed at the Langham Hotel in Eastbourne East Sussex which quite honestly was perfect. Our room was clean and comfortable and was a superior room with an inland view. We decided to stay at the Hotel for our evening meal which was excellent and very reasonable in cost. I really could not fault this Hotel and would most definitely stay here again.
A special mention To Barbara who is outstanding with her customer service and so friendly and helpful she is an asset to your Hotel.
Thank you once again for a great stay.

Booked the hotel for a weekend break after a recommendation from a friend. My husband also read the owners book and was interested in seeing the hotel for himself!
We were not disappointed. We had a beautiful sea view room with a bay window. The room was clean with a lovely big bed.
The bar was lovely, overlooking the sea as well and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. The restaurant was excellent offering high class food at a reasonable price.
If you are looking for a good hotel with a wonderful view, great staff and reasonably priced then I would recommend The Langham.
Thank you to all for making our stay really enjoyable.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a superior sea view room. A bit old fashioned but friendly staff and good service. Busy on the first day as there was a coach load or two of OAPs. It was raining so there was no space for us in the bar that day. We ate in the restaurant that evening. Service was polite and efficient. Loved our room. It was great to be able to have such a good view. Bed was very comfortable. Walk in shower in the bathroom. Enjoyed our breakfasts and on our second day sat outside on the terrace for a snack and afternoon drinks. I’d quite happily visit again.

Set right on the seafront this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. We stayed for 2 nights in August and the staff are friendly, informative and incredibly helpful. The hotel was well looked after, spotlessly clean and followed all current COVID-19 guidance. We had a Superior Seaview Room which was spotless, comfortable, a good size and had amazing views out to sea. The room came with all that we could ask for plus some little extras. The breakfast was included and there was a wide variety of options: continental, full English, Vegetarian, eggs & smoked salmon etc. All in all, we had the best stay in Eastbourne thanks to the Langham Hotel and will definitely be back. Thank you!

We booked this hotel reasonably late as we had realised we had booked another hotel in Norfolk which was a dog Friendly hotel not good for an asthmatic!
We like Eastbourne so decided on a Superior sea view room at the Langham hotel for 4 nights.
We absolutely loved this hotel! Our lovely beautifully decorated room had a very large bed and beautiful view of the sea. The room was spotless with dressing gowns and slippers and wonderful fluffy towels and face cloths that were changed every day. There were shower gels, body lotion and shampoo of very good quality.
Breakfasts were really good with so many choices that you wouldn’t go away hungry! We ate in the restaurant at night where there is a fixed price for two or three courses. We didn’t have a bad meal every one was beautifully cooked and tasty. My only disappointment was that I had read that the menu was changed daily and it wasn’t. Staff did explain that due to COVID and restricted numbers of guests it wasn’t was financially viable to keep changing the menu at this point in time. The chef was very kind and cooked us two bits of fish without the standard batter! We also ate in the bar for lunch which was also very good
All the staff were really good - always pleasant and attentive at all times but particularly Migel who served us quite a bit and also cycled down to open the car parking venue for us a couple of times
There were strict rules about wearing masks in public areas and most residents complied and all staff wore masks or visors. Staff did ask people to comply with the mask rule but we felt they should be a bit stricter with those that didn’t.
We were very happy with our stay and are eager to return!

We stayed for 3 nights in the Langham 6th-9th August and couldn’t have chosen better.
I searched and booked the hotel as our party included 86year old disabled mother and 90 year old father. Their room was perfect with sea view and wheelchair ‘friendly’.
Every staff member provided friendly, efficient service and we were allocated the same table in the dining room throughout our stay which ensured that we didn’t have to manoeuvre chairs to accommodate the wheelchair.
The breakfast and evening menu was varied and of a high standard.
The COVID precautions were obviously well thought out and we felt completely safe at all times.
It was also my mother’s birthday and having informed the receptionist when booking for dinner, we received a complimentary glass of bubbles and mother had a birthday cake.
Thank you Langham for enabling us to make very happy memories with our elderly parents.

Overnight stay in Eastbourne for a special occasion. 5* Grand only had a suite left so chose Langham instead as my brother has been several times. Four poster with sea view for a very reasonable price. Excellent Breakfast included. We will choose the Langham again And be assured that their Covid precautions were well planned.

Fan provided in room and one cannot expect air con in many older hotels.

We spent a week at the Langham in July/August this year and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room had a Seaview and was comfortable although we would have liked a couple of armchairs rather than the dining room style chairs we got.We managed to obtain parking at the rear of the hotel at an extra charge and this we felt was well worth it although there are only a few spaces.
The staff were very friendly and obliging and the owner himself keeps a watch on everything that happens which is no bad thing.Th hotel is family owned and not part of a chain and this definitely makes a difference.Although the bar got very busy particularly at lunchtime when the outside terrace was full the staff were very efficient and the food was excellent.
We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant on four occasions and were well pleased with all the meals we ate. Our only comment would be that we would have like to see a change of menu throughout the week, this is especially important when you stay for a week or more I think.Breakfasts were very good and freshly cooked to order. and my wife request for skimmed milk were addressed the day after we asked.
The dining room looks out onto the seafront and we loved the conservatory seating area.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Langham unreservedly.

The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. Covid measures are very good and we thought they were very well followed by Staff. Would say that the room was a little more basic from an appearance perspective than some of the photos might suggest, but the bed was comfy and everything worked.
Great location right infront of the beach, would definitely stay here again.
