I love the open cooking action you can see!
The eggplant/ aubergine is EXCELLENT!!! I have never enjoyed aubergine more than I did here! They brought us some mini pizzas and a Turkish bread while we waited. Great place to visit with friends

I visited with my friend and my Mum last night. My friend and Mum cancelled a previous restaurant reservation in order to come back here and show me this place as it had been so good.
Meze had a lovely ambiance and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It had a lovely family run feel to this inviting Turkish restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble. They also catered well for dairy free customers, serving yoghurt on the side.
The food was delicious and we happily watched the chefs from our table, as they stoked the fire and laid out the prepared selection of meats and doughs, ready to cook. The salads were beautifully crafted and tasted wonderful.
The restaurant was full and ran like clockwork, again, nothing was too much trouble. I really felt the Turkish experience and I will definitely be back here when I am next in Eastbourne. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
And….. we each had 3 courses and drinks, which came to around £28 a head, well worth every penny. Thank you!

Decided to go to restaurant after looking on line. Was a bit apprehensive as sometimes the websites are not what they seem. I can honestly state that this restaurant is absolutely excellent. Family run & they are so enthusiastic about food. Service is excellent & the food is excellent as well. Reasonably priced as well. Do visit as its a must!👍👍

We visited on Friday night having booked online a couple of days before. We visited as a couple in the evening. We arrived about 10 minutes early but were seated straight away.
We were given a reasonable amount of time to get ourselves settled and then were asked if we would like to order drinks and were brought bread and olives to the table, we then ordered our food.As starters we had a mixed cold meze and a haloumi dish. Both were very nice and we shared them. We did not have to wait long for our mains and seeing them prepared not far from us was nice and also added to the sensory experience.
The restaurant was not especially busy but everyone there seemed more than content. The service was friendly and pleasant.
Our mains (My wife had a mixed grill while I had the tiger prawns) Both were expertly prepared and we enjoyed sharing both. The food as you would expect was piping hot having come off of the grill and were absolutely spot on. It was that good I really should have taken some photo's! We were the last in the restaurant by the time we had finished our meals, the chef made a point of speaking to us and encouraged us to sample thier liquers, which were great too.
It was exactly what you would want from both the meal and the ambiance.There was a slight wait to get the bill but I believe this was to avoid rushing us which was very much appreciated.

Visited tonight, had Sea Bass, Prawns and kebabs…all amazing quality and delicious. Flat breads homemade on premises served with delicious olives, cheese and garlic butter to accompany, food cooked on charcoal open grill in open view. Service friendly and efficient.. restaurant cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Family-run authentic Turkish cuisine, cooked next to us while we relaxed. Generous portions with delicious, beautifully presented food. There is a huge range of cold or hot meze and main dishes. We are never disappointed there!

We used to come here when we lived locally 6 years ago and was so pleased to find the same family running it and the food even better than we remembered.Spotlessly clean.
