We had a two course menu which was excellent value. Food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Restaurant was clean, spacious and busy and staff were friendly & helpful. Would certainly eat here again.

I visited Pomodoro with my partner for a birthday meal. We were seated quickly and service was quick the wine and food also arrived quickly and was very tasty. Since visiting some time ago the restaurant feels a little cramped and the lighting a little too bright for me so lacks a certain ambience that I would prefer.

This is a lovely Italian restaurant. The staff are friendly and polite and the service is quick. The food......yummy! This is the second time we have visited this establishment and we were not disappointed. We would definitely go back.

As usual we found the staff to be friendly and the food very good. The menu offers good choice of dishes & desserts. And the drinks list is pretty good too!
All in all the evening was a nice way to end my working career, with the venue living up to it's long history.

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. We did have to wait a long time, but that was no doubt due to our large group (65) on a busy Friday evening. I had a veal dish with cheese and beautifully cooked vegetables, followed by delicious gelato, and complimentary liqueurs to make up for the wait.

My wife and I are creatures of habit. When in Eastbourne we like to use a particular Italian restaurant. However on this occasion we were persuaded by my son to try out Pomodoro & Mozzarella. What a revelation! The best Italian meal I've had outside Cortona. Great atmosphere, great food, great staff. Not bad prices either. This is now our favoured Eastbourne restaurant.

Excellent food, friendly staff, clean and bright. The only down side is people staring at their mobile phones. This is also a family friendly restaurant as evident by the number of birthday meals where the staff all gather to sing.

This was really busy so thought we would take a chance... we were not disappointed ! We went for the set menu, we shared a bruschetta and then I chose a pizza, which was big !! And delicious then to finish we shared a tiramisu...fantastic value for money.

There is a buzz in this restaurant from the moment you set foot in it., It is always very busy , yet tables can be found quickly and the food is excellent., The waiters are quite wonderful knowing when to approach for your order and are always polite and friendly. It was such a pleasure to eat here and I would advise you to book if your party is four or over as it is so popular, opening at 5.30. and finishing when the last person leaves after 11.00!!!

Fabulous pizza. Would have scored excellent but didn't receive the olives we ordered though they did appear on the bill. Quickly sorted but restaurant was no busy so it was disappointing not to get them. Would visit again.

Recently visited with my family. The food and service was as good as always, but we were disappointed when the table next to us started vaping. We were surprised and disappointed that this was allowed. Two of us are asthma sufferers so not ideal.

We were in a small party who ate here on Monday evening. Although the restaurant was busy the service was good, staff were attentive and the atmosphere buzzing. Menu is extensive with something to suit all tastes. Food was excellent and well presented. Would definitely eat here again and can thoroughly recommend.

Five of us had a great meal. I had the steak in peppercorn sauce it was melt in the mouth. Really a beautiful meal. And great dessert. Waiters attentive, and you could tell happy in their work. Very busy night. And even though the food and service was excellent, it was quite loud. A few times we had to almost shout to make us heard.
