The charity that I work for booked this restaurant for there volunteers Christmas get together. I have never eaten here before. The restaurant was packed with others celebrating for Christmas and birthday celebrations. The atmosphere was great. The waiters were very attentive. The food we ordered was amazing. As was the drinks. There were 17 of us and we were all extremely satisfied. I will definitely be returning but this time with my husband. A very big thank you to all the staff at the poodoro.

We visited the restaurant having read good reviews and we certainly were not disappointed. I booked a table for 6 on the day and was very glad I did as we arrived at a very busy restaurant. The restaurant had plenty of staff who were all very friendly and polite, without it feeling forced. A lovely atmosphere!
We chose to eat off the set menu which was only £13 for three courses. The food was absolutely fantastic. Not one complaint and we scoffed the lot!!
I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back on our next visit to Eastbourne.

It was a nice visit. If your going as a one off visit, I'll say its worth the visit. The food is very good and the atmosphere is very nice. The wait for the food is actually surprisingly quick, and the only downside really is the price. But for what it is, its worth paying.

For some reason, whenever my partner and myself visited Easrbourne we walked straight past the Pomodoro e Mozzarella always commenting on how busy it was but never booking............shame on us we have been missing a real treat!!!!! Last night we visited for the first time and had a wonderful evening, the food was plentiful and delicious. I fancied a Risotto but not the seafood one on offer, this was not a problem the waitress said I could have whatever I wanted............how accommodating not many places are that obliging !!!!! A great evening at exceptional value. Don't make the same mistake as us, book a table you won't be disappointed.

The place was packed but they managed to find us a table. My pasta was very good and the cassata dessert was excellent. Nice house wine and service too.

My husband took me here for my birthday and we had a lovely meal. Everything was perfectly cooked and served with a smile. I ordered a sweet and it arrived at the table with a candle and brought by singing waiters which was very sweet. They even gave me a birthday card. It’s these little extra touches that make the difference. We have eaten here before and it is by far the best Italian Restaurant in Eastbourne. We will be back.

We booked this to eat at our first night in Eastbourne after reading other positive reviews.
We ate from a Christmas set menu which was £13 for three courses. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive.
Between us we had starters of bruschetta, soup, garlic mushrooms and mains of the cabonara, sea bass, lasagne, turkey escalope followed by tiramisu and profiteroles.
Would definitely visit again.

A friend booked this for our Christmas lunch for walking group. Lovely menu with lots of choices and generous portions. I had juicy prawns to start and veal escalope in wine sauce for my mains. No space for puds. Great service fro a patient waiter and excellent value for money (especially compared tot last Eastbourne restaurant I went to- no contest!)

We are in Eastbourne to visit the family for Christmas. We have been to this restaurant a few times before. Travelling down yesterday we walked into restaurant about 8.00 pm, tired and hungry after 4.5 hour drive, table for two, no problem. We rejected first table for a table in less noisier area. My boyfriend had bruscetta to start, I had vegetable soup, main for me salmon and my boyfriend had chicken goujons in tomato sauce, both with vegetables and potatoes, bottle of wine for £59. We decided to book for Christmas eve and had a table in corner for two. This time we went basic as in garlic bread to start followed by spaghetti boloagnase foe me, lasagne for other half then room for desert, I had chocolate fudge cake and panacotta for him. One bottle of the wine and came in £51.00. Both nights staff busy but very professional. It's really a great place to unwind and not be hurried along.

We enjoyed a light and inexpensive meal . Service was attentive however due to the large number of Christmas party's we felt that we were being rushed which was a pity as the food was reasonable .

Found this place on trip advisor as we were unexpectedly going to be in Eastbourne and booked. The restaurant was bustling and had a great atmosphere. All four of us had different starters and mains and all of them couldn’t be faulted and we’re excellent. I would absolutely recommend - best Italian meal I’ve had for ages.

We booked as it was a busy Friday night. Service excellent and friendly, although it was busy we never felt rushed.
This is a typical Italian restaurant great for friends and family, everyone looks happy eating here.I had the vegetarian lasagne followed by tiramisu. Delicious flavoursome food, I thought the tiramisu could have had a little more coffee flavour but my friend thought there was plenty.

We were staying nearby, weather inclement and it looked inviting - and didn't disappoint. It seemed very popular, but we got a table despite not booking. The service was quick even though they were busy and the food is excellent. Sea bass divine, followed by tiramisu. Very clean and tables well set out. Wouldn't hesitate to go back and to recommend.

Always a lovely meal at Po Mo. Steak medallions in red wine are amazing, and the ones in peppercorn sauce. The veal dishes too. They always make a great celebrations for birthdays and the staff and atmosphere is lovely.

We hadn't booked and they were busy, but they found us a table straight away. Very attentive waiting staff and service. Nice atmosphere / buzz. We chose the lasagne al forno, which was impressively tasty and piping hot. Desserts were also very tasty. Thoroughly recommended.

Popped in here in my own whilst visiting on business and it was one of the closest restaurants to my hotel.
It was a Tuesday night night fairly late on, but the restaurant was busy and had some big groups in.
I got a very warm welcome and got seated quickly. The staff who served me were all Italian and very friendly and attentive.
The food came out quick and was fine, but I did think the pizza was a bit bland. Maybe I just made the wrong choice. The chilli oil was great !
The garlic bread wasn’t much different to the slices you get in Sainsbury’s but with some mozzarella in top.
I had the house red wine and it was lovely.
In summary, service was great, wine very good but next time I would try something else from the extensive menu.

I recently visited Pomadoro with a group of Rotarians. We were going on to the theatre to see My Fair Lady. Pomadoro is just along the road from the Devonshire Park theatre. We had already booked a table which was a good job as it was full. Most of us chose from the set menus which are well priced at £18.40 for 2courses or £23.50 for 3 courses. There was a good variety on both menus. But you could choose an individual dish if you wanted to . The food was tasty & hot. We all enjoyed our meals & I for one will come again.

I've been here for a family meal. A really nice restaurant, very good service and authentic Italian food. The pizza is the best I've had in Eastbourne. I will definitely go back.

I visited Pomodoro e Mozzarella about a week ago. I was walking home from work, thinking "what shall I eat..." And there it was. I'm quite new around here, but I've heard of Pomodoro from friends before, they described it as the best Italian restaurant in Eastbourne. I have to say, there is definitely a lot of truth in that statement.
I've ordered spaghetti carbonara, glass of pinot grigio and water.Spaghetti was beautifully al dente, just as it should and the carbonara sauce was lovely rich and flavoursome. The portion was huge, and even though I wasn't starving I almost finished it. It left me satisfyingly full and happy. I thought it was a very good value although no room for a dessert...
The restaurant interior was nice, with warm lighting, giving the rooms a cosy ambience. All the staff were very friendly and efficient.I paid with card and the card machine didn't ask for a tip, which I found a surprise, perhaps there is a service charge and I didn't notice, but I had no cash on me and it made me feel guilty for not leaving a tip :( I won't make that mistake again, as I am planning to go back at some point.

Normally go next door to Locanda Del Luca as, i the past, I have found Pomodoro too loud and noisy. But .... a late Saturday afternoon lunch found us tucked away in a nice, quiet corner (upon request) and EVERYTHING was just perfect. Delicious food, great staff, great service, great choice and superb value for money (lunch 3 course menu).
