I went to see Oliver at the Royal Hippodrome last week. It was a lovely, vibrant show which I really enjoyed. I was taken aback at how lovely this little theatre is and I will certainly be keeping an eye out for future shows,

It was very funny 😂 and there was a good amount of work for the kids👱🏼♀️👦🏽 And the play that went wrong went very wrong and funny. The jokes weren’t short they were long and detailed. Overall a very good show!

After a slightly slow start it was fantastic. Oliver, Fagin and Nancy were outstanding. Took my 5 year old son and both nannies for their Birthdays. All very happy. Only negative would b it was cold in the theatre,kept our coats on.

Great show full of talent and fun. We enjoyed this show immensely, it lifted our spirits and sent us out happy and Christmasy! Well done to all involved it’s great to see the Hippodrome thriving again.

Love going to the hippodrome to see a show. Staff are always welcoming and helpful. Been a few times now and my 4 year old son loves the whole experience.

Took my family to see the production of Oliver as it was always one of my sons favourite musicals and my granddaughter (aged 5 and her first theatre visit) loved it.
It was wonderful to visit this quaint theatre, it really did transport you back to theatres golden era. Would definitely revisit.

We took our 5 grandchildren aged 7 to 12 and we all thought Oliver was a brilliant show, the cast were just amazing. We thoroughly recommend you see this show.

Our first visit to this theatre....much better than I had expected. A lovely Victorian theatre ( the oldest in Eastbourne): plenty of leg-room between comfortable seats. Although showing signs of age ( whilst awaiting sufficient funds to renovate), the theatre is clean and well run. The toilets are clean, as is the bar. The volunteer staff are eager to please. There is no car park.

Saw Return of Neverland last week amazing show and brilliant cast especially Hook Tinker Bell and the lost boys but all were brilliant in their own unique way. Brillian story sets and songs.
