Lovely food, fragrant, aromatic, really tastes like Thai, not English Thai. Would definitely go back and will use the take away menu to. We would recommend this restaurant.

Friendly service, pretty decent curry and noodles. Great vegan options. Portions a tad on the small side. Tofu was more like seitan.

Very busy - obviously would be, as they are part of 50% offer for dining out in August - so had to wait for our food. But oh my, was it worth the wait. Absolutely best Thai we've had in a while, thank you!

Absolutely love this place. Always eat here when in Eastbourne. Grabbed a take away this time round. Food is fantastic every time. Staff are really friendly. Couldn't recommend more!

Best pad thai with prawns ever. Hospitality - amazing. We enjoyed also said in breadcrumbs, wings in garlic sauce ( we ordered another portion to take away). Beautiful bathroom. Reasonable prices. It was a highlight of our stay in Eastbourne.

The staff are friendly. The menu is long and varied. I had crispy duck with tamarind sauce and cashew nuts with sticky rice. Very tasty.

I saw that an earlier reviewer suggested that this was the best Thai restaurant they had esten in, in the UK - I would go further to say that on the 20th July 2020, Sabaidee served me the best Thai food I had ever tasted, anywhere in the world, including several trips to Thailand.

Best Pad Thai I’ve had in the UK!
We went for the Option B Menu and were very pleased with the price.
Staff were extremely friendly and polite.
We enjoyed the food so much that we went there twice on the same day! Dinner was a bit more pricey as we couldn’t use any of the Menu options, but it was still worth it!

Update: visited again in August 2020 and rushed back to this restaurant! Again the food and service were excellent! Really recommend 🤩

We had the set menu for £15 per head, good food all round, my favourite was the pork and ginger. Great value for money.

Sabaidee thai was a life saver. They close later than most restaurants, and the staff was very accomodating. The food took a bit of time to come but as we came in during the dinner rush we cant really complain. We loved it here as we actually came 2 nights in a row while staying in Eastbourne. Must try when you come here in the southeast.

Dealt with social distancing well, staff very polite and attentive but not all over you. Great menu, can recommend mix starter, Tom yum soup, weeping tiger ( amazing )and duck red Thai curry which we had with steamed rice and king prawn pad Thai noodles. Very quick food service and quiet ambiance. £66 for three courses for two people which we thought was excellent value without alcohol just had unlimited Jasmin tea.

Highly recommend Sabaidee to anyone looking for an authentic Thai meal in Eastbourne. Superb menu, food and staff who all make the meal an experience. We have many fond memories of this restaurant, and cannot wait to get back in there!

Ok.. its very tight in there. Not much room, you are packed in.
However....
We did not care one bit as we had a super evening. Food was delicious. If you know your thai, pick your favourites, if you don't, just ask and they will sort you.
We booked and as its a small place, probably best too as well.
Friendly (family) staff, had a great chat later on as the place became more quiet...and the price is ridiculously low.

I'm a huge fan off thai food and this place didn't disappoint at all,food was really good, specially thai soup was outstanding, can't wait to bring my family here cz they'll love thai food,we will be return soon.
