In particular The Harbour Grill is very good, food cooked from fresh once you order and most unusually the kitchen is on view to the customers and is spotless.
Lunch excellent value with huge choice of food.
The garlic prawns are just fantastic.

You can walk around in a square, looking at the birds, boats and people watching. It's very dog friendly which is lovely too. It's lovely and flat, plus there are plenty of cafes and restaurants to grab a rest / bite to eat. My favourite is DeLietos, amazing plump sandwiches, quality food and good size portions.

We walked here along the promenade from the Pier area. Nice flat interesting walk. Not much to see or do when you get there but it is worth the walk on a nice day. Restaurants and cafes looked busy but it all looked a bit scruffy and run down. We did not eat there. The lock gates to the marina are impressive when in use.

The harbour has a wide choice of places to eat. Views of the harbour. Beautiful on a sunny afternoon watching the boats coming in and out.
You can walk right the way round too, I
always enjoy looking at all the houses, apartments and complexes round the harbour. Its a different type of community living next to the water. You can watch the locks at work as boats enter and leave. Def worth a visit and go and explore.

Noisy, overpriced and really only for boaty folk as much better restaurants in Eastbourne... with the exception of the Indian.. now that was an excellent dining experience

On arrival it just looks like an unkept car park but, you pass this, the harbour itself is very pretty.
Lovely place for a walk.
The bar and restaurants are very tired and I feel they could do with a little tlc.
The food in most was very average, other than Ganges which was a welcome surprise.
Just feel they could do so much more with it.

My wife and I walked from Eastbourne to sovereign Harbour Marina along a very flat promenade. The harbour itself is a very pleasant place to spend a few pleasure hours. There are plenty of places to eat and prices are quite competitive.

With free parking (next to the Retail Park) this friendly marina, called 'The Waterfront' is worth a mooch-around on any day, especially in the sunshine. The yachts, sailing-dinghies & cruisers in the harbour, give the place a continental feel, and the walk around the inner basin is well-worth your time. We loved checking out the different vessels, there, and watching the lock-gates open & close, allowing the boats out to sea. A wide range of eateries is available - from a Harvester to Thai cuisine, Italian to Tex-Mex - though we love De Leito's coffee-shop (run by our friend, Bruno) that serves fresh paninis, sandwiches & yummy cakes! Spend a day enjoying the sun & ambiance...you will want to return.

Stopped here on the way home from a weekend break. Lovely place if you like boats and sailing, it's ok as well if you know nothing about either but like to stroll around having a good nose into how other people pass the time. Plenty of places for a bite to eat or just a coffee. I was told that it was a good venue for an evening meal but we didn't make it as the bus service from Eastbourne was beyond our understanding. Can't imagine spending a day there but good for a couple of hours.

Wander around the harbour and dream your dreams about owning a boat, and expensive boat! look at the fish in the water, watch the bridges opening, and the boats coming and going, and then try and choose where to eat, with so many places you are spoilt for choice. You can then go and visit the shopping retail park area or cinema
During the Summer months you can do a harbour boat trip, sadly it had finished for the season .
