We walked to the marina from the Wish tower end, following the well sign posted coastal path. However, when the path came to an end the signposts to the marina also stopped! We walked through a housing estate, and a large car park before eventually finding the marina! If fact it took so long we didn't have much time to spend there. Surely someone from Eastbourne tourism, or council should remedy this?

We often visit when the weather is good and had another lovely day today. Was great seeing the seals! All kept clean and tidy (except the toilets which are always awful). Spent a good three hours walking, eating and visiting the beach. Well worth a visit.

First thing to say is that parking is plentiful and free. The Marina is much improved since our ladt visit sevrral years ago and all sections of the msrinas are now full of boats and activity. The locks being worked are vety interesting, the stony beach is clean and the restaurants sre reasonably priced. It is definately worth a visit gor a few hours especislly if you wish to eat there as well. Nearby, a very shortcwalk, are TK Max, Sainsburys and a diy store and petrol station.

Visited here in August on a fine and sunny day and it was tranquil and pleasant. Sure, there were a lot of visitors but there were places to sit and take in the sights. Well designed, clean and tidy and worth visiting.

Visited here one afternoon last week and it was deserted. Main month for holiday makers and nobody there. The bars and restaurants were empty and some not open. Such a shame because such nice surroundings.

Staying in Eastbourne, we decided to walk to the harbour. It took us about an hour but was well worth the time.
Some lovely restaurants surround the harbour. We only had a coffee but will return for a meal- probably in the Italian.
If you don't fancy the walk there is a little train.

We visited the marina twice this long weekend with friends and with family. It is a reasonable visit, but having watched it built over the years from the Crumbles, we must say that it never lived up to the hype which was pushed prior to the planning application. The waterfront was supposed to be a fishing village type of development but it is just a very large housing estate with boats. Each phase of the development started with a set of houses and flats with sea views, but as soon as sold, another set of houses and flats was built in front, and as soon as these were sold......... It is too cramped and there is not enough parking for residents in the surrounding areas. There are no little shops, only cafes bars and the retail park. If you stick to the waterfront it is OK, but not enough to send you raving on Trip Advisor!
