We were there because some of the family were in the cinema and we'd arranged today together in Nandos.
The Beacon at 5pm is a pleasantly peaceful place, very busy during the day but it calms down.
The recent massive redevelopment of the area gives us a very nice modern shopping environment plus decent eateries.
Nandos was Nandos, fast and furious but very good.

I don't live in eastbourne but always travel to go to eastbourne shopping centre instead of mine hastings which is a dive ð the beacon is 10 out of 10. a great selection of shops plenty of toilets spread out so you never have to walk to far to get to one. it can be bizzy but that just proves its a great place to go I mostly visit now for the cinema and nandos I'm glad they have now added all that makes it so much more interesting.

Quite a good place to shop a variety of shops, a large Boots, a M&S food Hall and a reasonable sized Mens and womenswear section. A cafe with very pleasant staff but you need to forget it if you are in a hurry.

Its It's alright, but not good. Who ever planned it to not have doors on one side of the centre it's really bad idea. Leaving a wind tunnel in winter time feeling like walking outside.. Also parking paying machines being only on one floor it's ridiculous.. and easy to get lost especially if you visiting first time.. I went to a cinema, and I would rate cinema 5 stars.

Centre is clean and well managed but desperately need more big shops to move in. Especially now we have lost Debenhams and TJ Hughes in the town. Also heard a rumour about Boots
