Very nice, very educational very God for kids, too bad that wasn't promoted too much, it would be a great night out, too bad that it is a bit pour of town, but I guess it was observatory, guess it could improve more if there are more exhibits, not outrageous expensive, but would love to see move, talks are intereating, educational, well recommended.

An absolute gem. Loads for the kids to do and discover, and well-looked-after 50s architecture. Fascinating place.

Super friendly knowledgeable staff. Large car park. Lots of hands on things to do for kids (and adults!) Telescope tour fun and informative. Science show got the kids involved which they loved. Definitely worth a visit, and next door to Herstmonceux Castle for a longer day out.

Excellent day out for the kids agreed 6 and 9. Not too busy even during school holidays. Combined with ticket for the castle, but be careful to leave yourself enough time for the science centre. Can easily pass a whole day here.

Brilliant place that brings science to life with sensory activities for children (indoors and outdoors). So much to do, plus guided tours of the telescopes of course. There is a cafe and a shop with themed toys and games. We spent 3 or 4 hours there and could've stayed longer. Highly recommended. Parking is free.

Great for kids and adults, took my nephew and he loved it, some of the practical experiments for the kids outside could have done with a member of staff around to keep an eye on some of the bigger kids that were running round bumping and shoving past the smaller kids, but other that it's was really good, especially with how it's priced!

The activities where all interactive and you could play around with them which is very fun. There is a large tent with tables and chairs for picnics and there is a small café with good food. There are also regular talks and shows throughout the day which I found very enjoyable.

A little worn around the edges, but still a fantastic experience. Information talks - friendly and helpful staff/volunteers - so many hands on things to play with! We will be returning, with our young nephews in tow. The play areas look fantastic, the picnic areas welcoming, and we really enjoyed the exhibits and of course the telescopes!
Brilliant day out
