Came here for my birthday with 12 people, everyone loved everything. Liked it that much I came back 2 weeks later with a friend.
I would suggest getting as many tapas as you think you can eat. Me and my friend had 4 each. So much flavour in all the dishes. If you like Indian, your love Tuk Tuk.
The dishes are slightly different to normal Indian. The service is great, you can ask questions about your dishes, they are happy to answer. Enjoy !

Second week in a row ended up in Tuk Tuk and for good reason. Excellent food and service. Highly recommend!

Went here on the off chance it would live up to peoples ratings & it did. We had the Vegetable Thali and Mumbai Biryani (each in the region of around £11-13) and they were outstanding both of them. Hailing from Brighton we’re a little spoilt for restaurants, so in all honesty prob wasn’t expecting it to be quite on a par with some of the street/regional Indian food restaurants there like Chili pickle and Manjus, but it was every bit as good if not better. We left feeling neither over stuffed or still hungry & I can honestly say that this was the most delicious biryani I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommended.

As one of our qualifying restaurants I wanted to sample what was on offer. A friend and I had a table for 2 on a Sunday night. Waiting staff were attentive and when our food was served it looked delicious. Not sure I liked my beer in a tin cup but it was novel and the food extremely tasty. Certainly one of the best Indian meals I have had. Well deserved finalist, I look forward to returning to sample more dishes :)

Visited between Christmas and New Year with my partner having been once before.
Tuk Tuk is a tapas-style restaurant and this is reflected in the prices. Every dish we have tried so far has been delicious, with the masala dosa, golgappa and mutton curry being particular favourites. The quality of the food is a step up from the average UK Indian restaurant with even the more common dishes, like the samosas and chicken tikka, having a rich and distinctive taste.
The restaurant is clean and the service has been excellent on both occasions.
Would definitely recommend if you fancy Indian food in Eastbourne.

I love the idea of Indian tapas dishes and Tuk Tuk has a long list of very appealing dishes to order from.
I felt the mini poppadums with chutneys was overpriced at 3 pounds as they were literally the size of 50 p pieces and one of the chutneys was a lemon wedge?! The only other issues was that the nan bread was pretty small and not as pillowy and buttery as others I have had but when eaten with the other dishes it was a good foil to the rich sauce in the butter chicken for example.
The tapas dishes we ate were all tasty and hot and freshly prepared. The samosa was great, and the prawns delicate and crisp!
I seem to have missed the dosas which is a shame as I love them- but would love to explore the menu more and sample other dishes. Everything we had was very tasty- so no complaints there at all!

A menu that offers Indain Tapa, Thali's and Dosa drew me in. We had the Tapas style, loads of great flavours in a nice modern environment. All of the six dishes were excellent, the lamb in the lamb dishes was very tender and the vindaloo was suitably hot.
