I just happened to see the amazing menu and thought I would pop in a few days later. I am so happy I did this. The food was divine, appeared very authentic. Such a good choice on the menu and definitely not your usual British Indian classics here, so don't expect a Korma. It was refreshing! Great atmosphere with Indian music, surrounded in beautiful decor and Bollywood posters. The service was quick and professional. I just wish this restaurant would open up in Sheffield where I live. Either that or I need to get myself to India!

We had the trio tikka starter, prawns in breadcrumbs and chilli chicken fry too. All the food was delicious. Cooked perfectly and hot as well.
Good service, reasonable prices.
The chairs are not comfortable unfortunately, and the cutlery cuts into your hand. Would have stayed longer and eaten more but having sore hands from the cheap cutlery and an achy bottom front the awful chairs made us leave quickly.
Good place to eat if you take your own knife and fork and don't stay long.

We came accross this restaurant and went in for lunch and were not disappointed.
Very friendly waiter and prompt service, we ordered the tapas dishes 3 each as recommended on the menu it found it was just enough.Food was very tasty and freshly cooked to order and we had tasted 6 dishes between us which we found was better than just one large meal.
Will definately be returning maybe an evening this time

The Indian restaurant we ate at on our last visit was shut so I googled and Tuk Tuk came up. Wow, what a gem- immaculate place and the food was fantastic! So much choice even for a fussy vegetarian. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. This is proper Indian food, not just the dished that you get in the local Indian takeaway. Relaxed and casual- highly recommend! 10*

I love this place. I came here for lunch to eat their amazing dosa but couldn’t help myself from ordering a Meat thaali. I noticed paneer fingers on the menu too, i didn’t really know what to expect but they were delicious just like everything else i had. Everything on the menu is definitely value for money. I love the decor it’s very warm and welcoming. The staff are always happy to help. Will be back soon :)

We saw this restaurant the day before and promised ourselves we WILL eat there , we were not disappointed , friendly greeted by staff, decor becoming of an Street food vendor. I tried the imported Goa beer crisp and refreshing. Food is delicious, spicy , and filling. Presentation is meze orientated and they recommend 3 dishes each , which is quite adequate . All in all amazing dining experience . Try it !

My boyfriend and I decided to try this restaurant as we have been keen to visit India for some time now. I have to say, I was a bit hesitant as I have only ever tried the standard English chicken tikka masala and have never ventured to try anything else out! However, after reading reviews, we decided to give tuk tuk a go.
We drove past and the restaurant empty and hardly noticeable (we were nearly put off by this) once we arrived, of course there were many dishes I had NEVER tried, nor understood but my boyfriend and I shared the meat tali, 3 way chicken tikka and another dish which I cannot remember. And WOW, what a pleasant surprise this was! Do not be put off that the restaurant might be quieter than others or a little basic with their interior.. if we had turned away when we first saw this place, we would have never known how good this place was! Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again!

We were down the town at lunch time and decided to try Tuk Tuk. It was quite late and there were not many people in there but we were made very welcome as we went in.
Having been to India about 9 months ago we were keen to see if the food bore any relation to what we had when we were there. It did not disappoint, varied menu, great choice and very good. We shared a variety of dishes and they were all excellent. Can recommend the tandoori platter and the kerala spicy wings.

Booked a table for four of us on Saturday evening not knowing what to expect. Other reviews highly recommend this “street food” restaurant. I can only say it was a near perfect experience. After choosing a selection of about 20 dishes between us the waiter suggested a slight reduction and explained what each dish consisted of. We therefore really left it up to him and we ended up with about two of each of 8 different dishes. The food was superb, every dish having a different flavour, we had a mixture of prawn and chicken dishes, calamari, rice and cubed “chips” we ate the lot and did think about ordering more, but we all thought this was being piggish! A thoroughly enjoyable evening, it was a great shame that it was not very busy, but the weather was awful. We will definitely visit again.

Although the premises look more like a café with 'school type' plastic chair, do not be put off. It's a place to go solely to eat. The food was exceptional. Four of us shared a tapas style meal with several dishes of Mumbai Chicken biryani, Jhingra Chat (spiced battered prawns), Goan Calamari, Malabai prawn curry, 3 way chicken tikka, potatoes and pilau rice. We will certainly dine here again and try some of the other dishes. I love strong curries but was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed the different flavours without any of them be over whelming.

Food was tasty. I had Tandoori platter - chicken kababs. Owner was friendly and service was good. Will visit again.
Place has been decorated with scenes from old India. However India is much ahead than what is depicted. Particularly snake charmers??? I do not remember having seen this in India for nearly 2 decades...

6 of us went to Tuk Tuk yesterday lunchtime. Nothing much to look at from outside but the food is wonderful!! Different dishes that you wouldn’t get in a traditional Indian restaurant. The service was excellent and the prices of both food and drink were really competetive. We shall certainly visit again soon .

I’m getting ready soon for my trip to south India so when I noticed this place while working in the area I was straight in.
If you are looking for your standard English chicken tikka masala A; you’re boring and B; you won’t find it here, so jog on! This is true Indian street food in its simplest form.
My mouth danced and swayed while trying a few of the dishes in delight. The service was quick and friendly.
No gimmicks just great food. Well done

We ordered 8 different main courses (small portions) and I must say : they we're all top !
Excellent flavours One advice to the restaurant : you have to work on your papadums -> don't serve them with a Chinese chilli sauce but with Indian pickles, serve large papadums instead of the small ones
