Delicious food, relaxed and friendly service, nice environment, can't fault it. The mutton curry was particularly good. Highly recommended.

We have been there for a quick dinner. The advice on the menu to start with three orders per person is really optimistic - depending on your choice, one is enough. Quality was great! Would come again on our next trip!

Called in today for lunch. We ordered 4 dishes to share along with a mango lassi and all were delicious. The most authentic Indian food I have tasted in this country. We will definitely be back. I am off on my seventh trip to India soon and this has really whetted my appetite.

my husband and I looked at the menu in the window and gave it a go. We were glad we did as the smells coming from the kitchen were mouth watering and the food lived up to them. We thaught it a bit expensive for tapas but it was really good and will probably return if in Eastbourne again.

Unassuming little place that serves fantastic "real" Indian food. The chicken tikka was probably the best I've ever had in the UK. Bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. This is often over cooked at other restaurants, and is dry on the inside. At Tuk Tuk the tikka was tender and juicy inside. The biryani tasted positively homemade. I thought the mutton curry could do with a bit more kick, but it suited my 11-year old perfectly. The desserts are made in-house and not bought-in like many other Indian restaurants. I heartily recommend the gulabjamun. If we'd stayed a bit longer in Eastbourne I would have loved to go back and try some more dishes. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

This is the second time I have been here and if anything it was even better! The food is probably some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten, and it's great to have lots of different things tapas style so it encourages you to be a bit more adventurous. The staff are lovely and it is spotlessly clean and bright. Cannot praise it enough.

Visited here during a short break in Eastbourne because it looked 'different'. Husband and I usually opt for the same dish each time we visit an Indian restaurant. However, as this was no ordinary place with lots of unfamiliar dishes we decided to jump in and try some new tastes. We had 5 dishes between us, one being a large chicken platter, and we couldn't finish it all. Food was delicious and staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend giving this place a try.

We have just visited here for lunch with the family and can honestly say that this is the best Indian food I have tasted in Eastbourne in the past 11 years we have lived here. My wife and I traveled through a India before the kids came along and the flavours were certainly reminiscent of our time there. Highly recommend this place, we will be back.

Arrived for Saturday lunch and was welcomed by waiter who was very enthusiastic. Once we got the menu the choice was immense. The staff really paid attention to our 1 yr old son and kept him entertained with colouring pencils/ high chair and metal plates. They even advised that they could warm up his food that we had brought with us if required.
Chose 7 dishes between us and everyone was cooked to perfection and the flavours were bold but not overpowering or spiced.
Very reasonably priced and the experience was made by the decor, factual place settings great decor and the ambient music.
Well worth a visit

This restaurant has all sorts of things in the menu (from animals, right through the vegan).
I went in a party of four. We all ordered about 3 tapas style dishes each and we loved them all.
2 of us were vegan and the other 2 were semi conscious about animal murder, so not one dish that we had contained animals and all but one dish had no dairy.
All dishes were clearly labelled either suitable for vegans, vegetarian, medium or hot spice, Gluten free etc.
Excellent healthy food, served with a smile. Looking forward to going again soon. Keep up the great work.

A brilliant dining experience. Tapas-sized portions of freshly cooked and deliciously different Indian dishes. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Decided to pop in as we'd seen that it was new and really like the idea.
The restaurant is brilliantly decorated and has a fun lively feel.
You can see the kitchen behind the service bar which I really liked. The staff were really friendly and were giving advise on what to order. Consider this like tapas and order a few dishes, highlight included
- Mutton Curry. One for the fans of less spicy food- Saag Paneer
- Dora (potatoes pancake with filling)
Needless to say I'll defiantly be going back!

First went for lunch a few week earlier and had the lunch time thali meal which was lovely and great value . A group of us were eating so easy to order en mass . Wanted to return and try some of the other dishes as menu is very varied and appealing.
We had mutton curry, calamari, fishcakes ,chilli chicken great Naan bread . Lovely flavours . Bottle of wine too less than £15 - will return soon to try some more dishes . Can't wait . Restaurant deserves to be a big success for Eastbourne -informal dining at it's best

We visited on a Saturday night in October and booked ahead, which wasn't really necessary. The decor is very cafe like and authentic looking. The food is marvellous. I have never been to India but my partner assured me that the food was exactly the same as he had eaten when he visited some years before. A perfect evening.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Tuk Tuk served prober Thali meals and that the food had a bit of heat as well. Normally, many Indian places make their food bland to suit English palates. This was not the case. I felt as if I was in a café in in Mumbai. The lunch time service was lively and the staff were attentive and friendly. This is a really good alternative to fish and chips. I would recommend the lunch Thali special for £10. There was a great deal of freshly prepared food. I was disappointed that I couldn't get my chai masala made without sugar. Otherwise, this is my fav place in Eastbourne.

There are an increasing number of Indian street food restaurants popping up all over the country and I have tried few. This is a great little restaurant in the heart of Eastbourne and we tried it on a Saturday night. The restaurant was busy but not too busy and the staff were excellent. What I loved about the Tuk Tuk is that the menu is not too extensive which means that the kitchen staff can concentrate on making these dishes excellent which they did. Love the idea of Indian tapas.
I would highly recommend when visiting Eastbourne. I suggest three dishes each is enough.

This was a wonderful place to visit if you like Indian food, it was a fantastic concept to enable you to taste the street food from various places of India. It is in simple terms Indian tapas. The food was out of this world although one of the dishes was extremely spicy. The waiting staff were happy to advise us on portions and the food in general which we appreciated. It is licenced and believe me you needed a cold Indian beer.
Don't be put off by the seating as it adds to the authenticity.

Fabulous meal eaten here today (Sunday) with a variety of different dishes. All executed to perfection and all distinctly different from each other. My favourites being the spicy chicken egg roll, mutton curry, masala aloo and gulab jamun.
Service was friendly and the ambiance was fab. We will be returning to try out the dishes that we didn't try. Highly recommended!
Total cost for a huge variety of dishes and 1 bottle of wine was approx £70 and worth every penny.

A great attempt at authentic Indian street food
PAv Bhaji was tasty but a really small portion Masala Dosa tasted just like India
Bhel Puri was hot hot hot Pani Puri was ok but the mint sauces wasn't very Indian
Each dish costing roughly £5 quite expensive for very small portions although the taste was good.
