Really good food, friendly service, great choice/selection of dishes.
I opted for the Meat Thali, 3 selections of curry/rice/chicken samosa/naan bread.
It was delicious & great value for money, the only negative and its tiny... the ventilation could do with improvements, the smell of cooking was on my cloths all evening thereafter.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Indian tapas is not a concept previously known to me but it works brilliantly . Although I am a regular curry eater I had never come across most of this menu and decided to try things never tried before . The food is absolutely fantastic and the prices of both food and drink are extremely reasonable . Please don't miss the opportunity to eat here it is an incredible experience .

Visited with my family really enjoyed the different variety of street food. Great service and glad to see something different from a boring curry house.

Whether it's really street food or just a unique way of selling small plates of starters, the food at Tuk Tuk was incredibly tasty. We enjoyed the six dishes we ordered which came quickly. The naan bread was yummy and they serve ice cold Thums Up too!
We were verbally assured that all meat was halal and came from a local halal butchers.
Couldn't fault the food at all.

Relaxed cafe style eating. Indian style tapas, so small dishes, we had 3 dishes each which was plenty. Nice to try different Indian food, not your standard dishes. Good vegetarian choices. Staff were friendly and helpful if you had any questions.
Really good overall, already planning to return.

My 2nd visit here on a busy tuesday night and i have absolutely fallen in love with the place. I cannot fault this place one bit. It is by far one of the best restaurants i have ever eaten in. I have tried all sorts of mouth watering dishes from the menu and cannot pick my favourite.
The service is brilliant and very fast. The staff are very friendly and attentive.
The restaurant has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's definitely different in a good way and better than any other indian in east sussex. I highly recommend it to you all.
This is the only place i will happily depart with my hard earned cash. Will be back for more.

Went here after loads of people had recommended it.
Quick friendly service, great dishes - we chose three each which was plenty. Super flavours and it was lovely to eat well with the tapas style dishes, without coming out of an Indian restaurant with an uncomfortable overstuffed tummy!
Will definitely go again to try other dishes as there are lots to entice you. I think it's the kind of place that you need to go a few times to get the right mix of dishes for you.
Loved the lanterns on the ceiling and the Bollywood music. Decor is basic but is just what you needed.
Sat there after our dinner waiting to be asked if we wanted desert.....but not offered, so unsure if there was any? After checking website when we got home - there is desert, so staff need to make diners aware.
Great little find.....will do well in Eastbourne.

Don't expect anything fancy because it's not. The sound level when we arrived was very very loud, after the table with 12 people left we could have a decent conversation again, without screaming to each other.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, since we weren't sure how much to order. In total we had 25 small tapas dishes which we shared, I will not mention them all but they where all very tasty and good.
I also liked the way they served us whit the ups and plates which got you the feeling that you almost are eating on the street.Maybe the curry dishes weren't the best I ever had but over all it was jummy. We all felt sick after leaving, feeling we where in a food coma.
Definitely a strong 4.Definitely come back when I'm in Eastbourne the next time.

This was our second visit to Tuk Tuk. We were a party of 12 and the food and staff were amazing. Several people in our party had not been before and they all said they would definitely be going back. Great food, great staff and excellent service. We will be back. Thank you.

After an authentic southern experience subjected to Southern Trains industrial action, we deserved a treat and this was it and it couldn't have been better. We are Indian/Bangladeshi experts and this food was GOOD. Two of us had meat Thallis and Paul had the veg Thalli. All very nicely flavoured, hot, and we'll spiced. The dhal was second to none. The chicken samosas and mutton curry were a delight. The bread was freshly made. All in all excellent. With three beers (recommend Goa beer) and additional paratha, it came to just over £50 + tip. You can easily eat for much less. There were also dosas and lighter options on menu. Nice Indian music too

Visited on a Friday evening, getting a bit fed up with the local curry houses serving average food.
The tapas style suits this place perfectly. Lots of choice of freshly prepared tasty food.A revelation!!
Don't expect posh, just lovely food in a wonderfully friendly environment. The Dining room is unpretentious and all the better for it.
We're just going to have to return to make sure all the other dishes are as tasty as the ones we tried.
Well done Tuk Tuk, come on all you locals, we need to support this place.
A gem,

On first appearance this restaurant looks a bit basic. It is, the theme is street food and that is what it represents. Dont be put off the food is fantastic, staff very friendly and accommodating. The food is so tasty and light. Have already visited again. The dosa's are mega. If sometimes you feel your curry lays a little heavy on your stomach, visit tuk tuk and feel full and comfortable. Will be going again and again. Thanks for doing such a good job.

We ate a fabulous meal here on Sunday evening. We chose a selection of 6 dishes which were equally delicious. The chicken tikka was perfectly seasoned and cooked as was the lamb vindaloo really flavoursome with just the right heat to suit our palates. Waiter John was very friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend trying out this gem of an eatery in Eastbourne.

We decided to try out this Indian place after a recommendation from my aunt. What an excellent lunch we had. There was a relaxed atmosphere and a very friendly man took our order. Music playing while watching the cold rain and wind outside - a nice way to spend a Saturday lunch time.
We ordered 5 things from the menu to share. The spicy chicken and the fish cakes were my favourite. My partner enjoyed the chicken vindaloo, we chose prawns and also a large tandoori platter. I'm glad we had the platter as there was rice, which otherwise we would have forgotten! All the food was delicious and there were sauces and dips with each option. Plenty to eat and very good prices too.
While sitting there, I looked around at other diners to see what I would choose to order next time...A place to return to soon.
