We went here after reading the positive TripAdvisor reviews and it didn't disappoint. The curry was amazing. Not your usual takeaway stuff but tasted like proper off the streets of Mumbai curry! The food was reasonably priced and came quickly. Staff were really nice. The restaurant had a really nice theme inside with tin plates and cups to make you feel as if you are eating in the traditional way. A real experience - different from anything I've been to before.

I was staying in Eastbourne for a holiday this Tapas style eating house is great. I had 3 different dishes and a large glass of wine the bill was about £23.00 couldn't recommended this Restaurant highly enough.

First time here and loved it. Very authentic Indian tapas. Liked the fact you could order lots of little dishes. We had 5 or 6 and every dish was tasty fresh and cooked with care. Was nice that the manager asked for feedback and was genuinely interested in our custom. Can't wait to go back !

First visit was 3 weeks ago. Called in at lunchtime on a cold wet day when we were the only customers, but that didn't matter. So good that we went for our 2nd meal on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was buzzing.
The decor is bright, the size is compact, the dishes are well priced and the food is superb - such absolutely different flavours from run of the mill Indian restaurants. Styled as a 'street food restaurant', the plates are smaller tapas size, which means that you can order as much as you like, try several different flavours and not come away feeling bloated.
The staff are really pleasant and service was very good.Excellent!

I was so pleased to hear that Eastbourne was getting a restaurant specializing in Indian Street food. Been a few times now and I really enjoy the dishes and am trying something different every time. You'll need 3 or even 4 dishes to make a full meal as such but that's what 'street food' is all about. I loved the 'Railway Mutton Curry'. Basic surroundings, helpful staff and a good extensive menu.
On one visit the restaurant was closed when it should perhaps have been open but that was in the very early days so best to just check opening times.
I genuinely look forward to next visit..

Thank heavens for trip adviser and the reviewers. Dark cold Sunday night in strange town with dozens of near empty restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyable Indian background music, a very interesting and informative place mat to read and the food was great. Six dishes between us was more than enough food for two. Choice of about 30 different "tapas" bowls, quite a few vegetarian. Might be you need a nan bread or side dish of rice with your selections, dependent on choices. Really enjoyed ourselves and would return regularly if living locally.

Found this place through TripAdvisor and the reviews are correct . Really friendly staff and great food . They have taken street food from Mumbai and brought it to Eastbourne ! . Terrific , easy to understand menu , small sized dishes , we had six between the two of us and that was plenty . Well done .

We went after reading reviews. It's ok but I thought nothing special and they couldn't adapt anything. It was as though everything was pre prepared. My kebabs seemed as though they had been warmed from frozen in a microwave. Cold in the middle. However, there were plenty of folk in and some appeared to be local. I thought it was a bit pricy for what you got.

Second visit, so impressed, we love it, vegetarian options are amazing and pescatarians won't be disappointed! As for the rest I'm sure your happy just as we are. Booking is essential, don't take the risk!!!

I have been here a few times and decided to introduce it to my family who came to visit me from London. They were blown away with how fantastic all the flavours were. Like usual the service was great, the food just seems to be getting better and better everytime i eat here. I tried the dosa for the first time and it is now my favourite dish from the menu. My family really enjoyed the food especially the seafood platter. Will be back again soon

Everytime i come to eastbourne this is the only place i eat now! Their food is amazing! The taste is very different, you just cant go wrong! The best restaurant in eastbourne!!!

Really enjoyed tuk tuk tonight, good food and service. The girls we were with enjoyed some dishes but found even their take on a korma too hot but i couldn't fault it. Would definitely go again.

Came here on recommendation from friends, and I wasn't disappointed. The food was amazing,all different flavours, I had a non veg thalli which was perfect, my wife had spicy ch egg roll and a tandori platter mmm yum. I had a nice goa beer and gulabjam for dessert. Service is fast and friendly. Would recommend to everyone. Must try it

We visited on a Friday and what I can say is the menu is expansive and food was good. Really cool choice of food and a very different experience to normal Indian food. 5 plates was plenty for 2 people and every dish tasted lovely. What I was really surprised about was the service. Honestly, it was bad. Non attentive, borderline rude. Chucked the food down on the table, no smiles at all. No ask if you want desert or offer of more drinks. Maybe we caught them on a bad night but serious lack of rapport or customer care. Shame because loved the concept.

Went here last night as a work night out. Excellent service, great food, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. A wide selection of vegetarian dishes, and those which I tried all tasting unique. Something a but different for our town, and somewhere I will be returning to with my family.
