booked a meal for two and being a popular eatery did so a week in advance as we were staying in Hastings for a few days, we turned up 5 minutes before our reservation only to be told they did not have our reservation (even though i had a phone call from them to confirm) after a bit of chatting behind the scenes they found a table for two upstairs unfortunately it was opposite something i would rather not see whilst eating, it was a double fronted glass fridge/freezer with rows of stake cuts in it which look like they had seen better days I don't know it it was for show or they actually stored the food there but it was very of putting.
apart from that the food was very good and if i could sit elsewhere I would return again

Great steaks - 45 day aged is fantastic. Proper steak for the kids too, cooked to perfection.

Excellent food. Cooked to perfection. But £78 for three of us? Expensive for what was recieved. Disappointing evening. Service excellent. Very friendly staff.

Went to the Two Bulls on Saturday with a group of friends. We all had steak (would be rude not to!) and were impressed by the quality of the meat (we had different cuts) and all were cooked perfectly.
The homemade chunky chips were fantastic and an added bonus was that it's free if you want any more.
Staff were very friendly and attentive and as we needed to eat early, were more than happy for us to look at the menu, sort out our drinks and take our food order before the kitchen had opened.
Would have loved to try one of the desserts but didn't have enough room after the mains!

Visited on 23rd June.Table for 4 booked at 7pm, We were given one of the larger tables opp the kitchens so plenty of room available - Restaurant began to fill and the atmosphere built as the evening went on . The thursday meal deal with upgrades was chosen. Varying steaks were chosen as mains and although there was an issue with partners sirloin being overcooked, the replacement then came underdone, the team on duty did everything they could to minimise disruption to the meal and the owner came over with a third new steak apologised for the issues -Have to say what a great example of customer service . A thoroughly pleasant evening , lovely food and good company. Well done The Two Bulls

We visited for lunch during a weekend. We both ordered steak -however two different types, we both really enjoyed our steaks, we asked for medium and it was cooked well. The chips were delicious and the side salad and sauces also very good.
What had drawn us to the restaurant were photos of the desserts on tripadvisor. We ordered the cheese cake and peanut banoffee pie, when they came out they looked amazing - and dont get me wrong, they tasted really nice. However I was a little underwhelmed by them, the cheesecake was good but we prefer more of a baked cheesecake consistency, this one was softer. And the banoffee pie didn't have enough banana for me, and i don't feel that the peanuts added anything.All in all we enjoyed the meal - everything tasted good and we will probably go back and just try a different dessert next time

We visited the Two Bulls steakhouse with our family after hearing from many people how good it was, we were not dissapointed, the food was first class, we chose the special two three course meals for £50 plus a bottle of wine or drinks to the equivalent value.
The staff were friendly, accommodating and welcoming, the restaurant was pleasant and informal.Will definitely return for another enjoyable evening.

My daughter and I visited the Two Bulls this evening for the first time and we had a really enjoyable evening.
All the staff were very friendly and were happy to advise on the menu.The food was lovely and throughly enjoyable with nice touches like free extra chips.

We were so please to have visited the Two Bulls Steakhouse as the food was so delicious and the staff attentive from the time we walked in the door until we left. We will definitely be visiting again.

Went here with my friend, meeting up with her a few hours after work to try this place out, as we got a card in the post advertising it and the menu looked brilliant, as well as the special deals mentioned.
We were not sure what to go for, so asked for a recommendation. What we had was the most succulent steak we ever had in such a long time. It was a Sirloin I believe and had a really nice juicy kick to it also!.
With really warm welcoming staff to match, we have to come here again! :). Thanks again!!.

My partner and I visited this restaurant on holiday in Eastbourne. Although the price is a little steep, it was worth every penny. 2 perfectly cooked stakes, one rib-eye and one fillet, with a really good salad and thick cut chips. I'd choose to eat here every night if I could. Relaxed and classy atmosphere, great service and a great experience. Would highly recommend a visit.

The original Tally Ho pub, where this restaurant is now located, used to be our local, a place in which we spent many happy hours and so it is great to be able to revisit. We go quite often to take advantage of the good value £9 lunch. There is a great choice and we always enjoy it. My favourites are the steak satay skewers and the blackened chicken. Any quirks in appetite are happily dealt with as I prefer extra salad to chips (the chips are too delicious for my hips) but they will give me one or two, and extra yummy dressing if I want it!
The service is always warm, friendly and obliging. My only small criticism is that on occasion the 'background ' music can be rather loud which seems to be the case in many places nowadays, but when we mentioned it, the volume was lowered.

Love this place . Have been a few times for lunch and dinner and never been disappointed. Staff are extremely welcoming and the steak is just superb , the chunky chips are delicious and the Stilton sauce divine. Just enough on the plate for me too.

Went here on a Sunday lunchtime as a group of four. The dining room is pretty basic with mismatched tables and chairs, even a couple with plastic tablecloths
The food though was very good. My husband said his steak was one of the best he has had and from him that is very high praise. I had the scallops and they were very good although they would have been better with less bacon.Great chips and more available if you wanted them at no charge, a great touch.

Quite expensive if you push the boat out but good steak, although my husbands was slightly over seasoned and over blackened on the edges. The more mature steak was tastiest. Chips nice. Service great :)

This is the first time I have been here. We went for our sons birthday the staff were friendly and helpful. I had rump steak. I think is one of the best steaks I have had. The chips were lovely and thick homemade I think not frozen chips you get normally. You are able to ask for extra chips free of charge.
I think the desserts are homemade.
If you want a cheap meal this is not for you. But as we say you get what you pay for. The steaks are of good quality so this is why the price is a little higher than the norm. But they do have a lunch time menu which is a little cheaper. I advise you to try you won't be disappointed. It also has five star hygiene rating.

Service is excellent. Staff welcoming and very attentive without being overbearing. Food absolutely delicious. Their lunchtime specials are really worth going along for. The interior of the restaurant is tasteful and clean. Been twice within the last 3 months and we will be back. Highly recommended!

I have been 4 times to this steak house now for the lunch offer which is a very good price and very worth the money!! The first 3 times I had a steak however the 4th time I chose surf and turf which was just as delicious!!! My only wish is that the dessert menu was slightly more appealing as none of them are something I would choose. I shall indeed keep returning as there is no better steak in Eastbourne that I have found.
