Two Bulls was a pleasant stroll from where I was staying so decided to book a table based on Trip Adviser reviews. Service was prompt and so too was the serving. Ordered the mature rib eye which was cooked to my request and delicious. Wine went down well as well as a very fine cheesecake for dessert. Price was a little bit on the pricey side (£38 for steak, two glasses of wine and a dessert for one), it was worth every pence. Recommend for a nice night out either as a solo traveller, a local or travelling as a couple wanting something a little more fancy.

Visited again today. If you want a really nicely cooked steak along with simple but delicious sides ( home made coleslaw, creamed spinach) this restaurant us for you. We have visited lunch times and evenings and they do a lunch menu which is amazing value . Extra fries are free on request (if you need them) . I have never eaten a desert here as always too full. Service is always really friendly and relaxed and the chef is very friendly and accommodating too !

We come here once a month. It is within walking distance, but we would drive if we had to! The food has remained excellent throughout the three years we have been coming here. One of the best steaks you will find anywhere.

Walking in was greeted by such a friendly waitress who kindly sat us down on a Saturday night.
My partner and I both picked out rib eye steaks and a side of king prawns and I'm telling you it was SO SO excellent. Steak was gorgeous and the sides too, and the waitress checked over to make sure everything was alright.Absolutely highly recommended this place, you won't be disappointed!!!

Annual trip to Eastbourne for the tennis and this restaurant has also become a must go to. Great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff and great steaks, cooked to perfection. Also if you have room, try the Banoffee pie, its big so sharing is recommended.

Mind blown! Everything was cooked to perfection, the salad dressing was tasty and the meat tastes and cooked to perfection.
The staff need some sort of commendation for the service as it was on point! £5 tip was not enough.
We will be back for sure!

We were a very large group and pretty much took over, the bar is great, very relaxed and great selection of drinks. The staff so friendly and efficient....
The restaurant was super, this gastro pub has a wonderful menu of steaks, mainly steaks but a few other choices. I shared with friends to try a few bites so we had Prawn Cocktail, Breads & oils, Mackeral paté. All very tasty.
I ordered Rib Eye, with the peppersauce and chips. Cooked to perfection and delish sauce! You can ask for more chips so fret not! I liked this touch.
There were 25 of us at the meal, I can only speak for the 6 people sitting closest to me but everything was seamless. Not one thing was mixed up and with a large group all eating at the same time, that's not easy, that says great service, great chef, well managed. It certainly is!
It was a superb night out in one place offering 2 venues, bar and restaurant. I would recommend this place, its of a high standard and good value for money. I'm back in Eastbourne in November, will pop in again! Certainly recommend the Two Bulls.

This is the place to go if you want a decent steak for a great price. Everyone was very welcoming and we even got topped up with free chip and bigger starters to share.

Im somewhat confused by the rave reviews of this restaurant. We had an average meal here last night. The ribeye steak was ok, had better on the grill at home to be honest. People that claim this is the best steak they have ever had must not have eaten many steaks and decent restaurants. It wasn't a bad meal by any means just very underwhelming, would not rush back.
The service was great and our waiter was very friendly.

Went there last evening with my fiancé after friends got us a gift voucher for there.
I had the olives to start with and the 8oz sirloin for the main this came with amazing homemade chips and to finish I had the Guinness chocolate pot which was a dream. My partner had then bread olive oil and balsamic vinegar which was really well presented.
All of this including a bottle of wine was £50 which great value in lovely friendly atmosphere, highly recommended.

First ever trip the last time we visited it was Sheila's steak house.. so many years ago. What a wonderfull visit our steak meal was spot on, amazing sirloin wonderfully cooked chips and a very tasty dressed salad. Very pleasant experience definitely worth a visit and even though we didn't have the kids with us on this occasion you could tell it was very child friendly, keep up the great work

We have been coming here since it was opened as the two bulls and have always found it fantastic, the staff are always friendly. You used to be able to see the meat in a fridge which we liked - it felt a little more authentic for some reason. Never the less the luck menu is fabulous and so cheap for what you get. We have still been in the evening as the meal for two, with a bottle of decent wine is still great value.

If you're a fan of steak then I highly recomend the Two Bulls. The fillet steak is an absolute dream and the service is second to none. Yes it's a little pricey but if you want a cheap (and nasty) steak then go to Wetherspoons!

We popped in for lunch at the Two Bulls. The service was friendly, the restaurant was bright and open.
I am not a "steak" fan, it was my husband's choice, as he loves his meat. He had a rib eye and I had a rump.
The steak was one of the best I have had. It was beautifully cooked and was good quality meat. My husband gave a thumbs up too as this was one of the better steaks he has had.
The price was also very good. They have lunch time specials. We paid just £21.00 for two meals [excluding drinks and tips].
We will be going back again soon.

Had the £50 deal- 3 courses and a bottle of wine for two. Choice of starters was bread or olives. Ordered a rare sirloin for main which came out medium. I didn't grumble, chips were lovely, sauces were lovely. Staff and service are really good and a nice buzzing atmosphere. Choice of desert, ice cream or chocolate pot. Maybe extending choice a bit would be good. On the whole I enjoyed it but wouldn't rush back.

My husband and I usually go on a Friday as they have an amazing deal:
Starter, main (steak recommended) and dessert as well as a bottle of house wine. If you're not a fan of wine you can use the value of the bottle towards alternative drinks. We usually upgrade the wine to a bottle of prosecco but I know others have asked for beer/ spirits in its place. You get all this for £60 for 2 people. You won't get a better steak in Eastbourne. On top of all this it's a quiet restaurant so you can enjoy a break from the kids and have some alone time. The staff are all lovely especially Annie who will help with all requests. If you wanted to take the children they are also welcomed with a children's menu which can be found online. Love it!!

Dined here a couple of months ago with friends, service and atmospherer is very good. My wife an myself ordered Fillet steak rare, however it was certainly medium, it was ok and we said nothing to staff as we were with others. However as they are charging premium prices, if we were on our own I probably would have said something. It did not spoil the evening, so not the end of the world but quite honestly would not rush back.

This is a restaurant and pub but they work separately so drinks have to be paid in the bar area before you go through...v odd !! We used the good deal on Thursday and Sunday £50 for two three course and wine which made it fantastic value...you can upgrade your meal or wine very easily ..they even took off my wife dessert that she did not have from the bill..Keith looked after us very well and the food was good ...plenty of it..sauces good ....but starter and desserts on the deal a little boring but you can upgrade......not fine dining by any stage but a good meal had by all

The wife and I visited for a date night. The restaurant itself is spacious and well decorated. Plenty of room between the tables so your not feeling like your sat too close to other diners.
The staff are well dressed, very pleasant, polite and friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks that the restaurant offers. (Great work guys and girls)We both had prawn cocktail as starters. Great size prawns, tasted fresh and very scrumptious. Good size portion
The wife had the 6oz fillet as main, I had the 18oz porterhouse t bone. Along with a skewer of prawns and a bowl of mushrooms. We asked our waiter how he would recommended the steak to be cooked, and he got it spot on, everything about the main was fantastic. The steak just melted in your mouth ( hats of to the chef)
For dessert we had the bannoffee pie and the Eton mess that we shared. Unfortunately we could not finish the desserts due to the size of the meal portions. But both tasted fantastic.
Price wise we found it very reasonable for the quality and amount of food, and the warm and friendly atmosphere provided by the staff
We would highly recommend this restaurant and will be visiting again
Thanks to all the staff for making it a great night and meal
