I went to see Aladdin with my children, the theatre layout is very good with decent height between each tier, so you get a good view wherever you sit. We were in the middle of row E which had a great view of the stage. The staff at the theatre were friendly.

As for the show the cast were all good, with the exception of Heavy D, he was truly awful, no personality at all, looked like he didn't want to be there and was struggling to remember his lines. Fortunately he wasn't a major part of the show so we didn't have to endure him for too long. The rest of the cast were funny and entertaining, with Abanazer being a great baddy and Wishy washy was very good. The children loved the 2 policeman who had them in fits of laughter all the way through.

Worth going if you can endure the Genie and his repetitive use of the word Boom

Lovely little theatre. Pleasant decor. Nice staff. Plenty of space. On a down side , toilets smelled of urine and not very clean.

The Playhouse is very easy to find and there's a multistorey car park next door!
The venue is clean and well maintained. Good facilities and great seating.
Very enjoyable evening in a theatre that I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Six of us went to see Joe Brown at this theatre and he was as entertaining as ever. We had a "box", which was more of a "side balcony", and couldn't all easily see the stage without sitting right forward. However, the theatre is easy to get to and parking in the adjacent multi-storey car park is very convenient.

London's theatres aren't restricted to the overpriced west end. There are numerous venues like this which have a huge cross section of shows, plays, concerts and comedy nights.

Today was the excellent Central Band of the Royal British Legion's annual Remembrance Concert. Great musicians in a really good venue.

My first time to Epsom Playhouse yet I'm not far away!
I went to see the musical called Mame and thoroughly enjoyed it. The theatre was great, seating was vey comfortable and plenty of leg space.During the break there were plenty of staff so no long queues for refreshments, all in all a really good experience and great value for money. Mame was excellent, time passed to quickly! Give Epsom Playhouse a try you won't be disappointed - a great venue.

I go here quite regularly and I'm pretty impressed with the Theatre and its army of volunteers. The place is clean and tidy and, on the whole, the staff are friendly and helpful - although there are a couple who are overly officious at times. The refreshments are, as you might expect, expensive - but it's a main revenue stream for the theatre which, no doubt, struggles to survive.

Small provincial theatre, which is well kept and appealing.
Good selection of plays and musical events. Excellent magic show every month, only takes limited number of audience who are seated around 3 or 4 tables. Each table has a magician who move around all tables in turn. Very friendly and exciting. We took two teenage grandchildren who really enjoyed it and were able to take part in some of the tricks. We would certainly go again.
Parking is not a problem as there is a multi storey car park attached to the theatre

Suitably situated at the back of Epsom High street and adjacent to paid car park, it is a fail size theatre with various shows during every season, attracting people from all over Surrey, they have a small theatre too and they shows for children during summer holidays day time.

Good local theatre, easy to get to by train or bus and plenty of parking nearby if driving. All the seats have a good view of the stage. My only complaint is that there is not enough legroom so would suggest booking a seat at the end of the row or in one of the boxes. The theatre had a nice far and plenty of eating and drinking venues within walking distance.

Decent local theatre on the suburban show circuit, though we did see a fairly big name comedienne here. Good value parking next door for evening events.

This was probably the best pantomime I have seen. It had the family in stitches. The dame was brilliant and the costumes she wore were magnificent. An excellent and good value entertainment for all the family. The whole cast deserve praise for wonderful performances. Well done Epsom play house.

Took the family to see Beauty and the Beast - this year's panto at the Epsom Playhouse. I've not been a regular here - I think I have been to a couple of comedy shows over the last few years - but it is a small, friendly venue that does put on some good shows.

The whole family - 6 yr old daughter, 4 yr old son plus me and my wife - really enjoyed the panto. There was excellent interaction with the audience and some very funny ad-libbing when a sketch involving custard pies saw the dame sliding/falling all over the stage in "her" high heeled boots!

My only gripe with the venue - and it is one that is common of so many theatres - is the ridiculously limited leg room between rows! I'm only 6' 1", but I felt like a giant sitting in my seat and I couldn't find a comfortable position for my legs for the duration!

If you are over about 5' 10", I'd seriously consider reserving a seat in one of the boxes or looking closely at the seating plan to find one that has a little more room!

Been here a few times. Small theatre so wherever you sit you'll have good views. Staff pleasant & playhouse clean. If you go to the theatre to pay for tickets you will still be subjected to the booking fee unless you pay in cash so might as well book online. Right next to Ashley centre so parking plentiful & loads of places to eat in Epsom

A friend was performing at the 'Myers Studio' last week, so we made the trip from Essex.

The Epsom Playhouse is a charming venue, in central Epsom, next door to the 'Ashley Centre' with its multi story car park. There are disabled spaces literally twenty yards from the theatre door.

The main auditorium was hosting an 'Abba' tribute, I took a peek inside during the interval and it looked lovely, seating 450 people - a nice size. The 'Myers Studio' seats about eighty and is an intimate venue, if the seats are a tad uncomfortable.

Having said that both venues were crowded, the bar and the toilets seemed to come well with the inevitable interval rush, and a splendid evening was had by all.
