The Playhouse has a variety of different acts on over the months. We like comedy and saw Dara O'Brien. The tickets were very reasonable as he was working on material prior to a large tour no doubt. The seats were good . I don't think any seats are poor . It's a small venue so everyone is fairly close to the stage.
We parked in the Ashley Centre Car Park and only paid £1.50 for a bout 4 hours parking. Epsom offers lots of possibilities for pre show meals.

A great local theatre offering intimate performances, a wide variety of shows on offer. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Close to town centre with plenty of parking nearby. Though could be better signposted. When staying overnight in London I look for shows / performances at local theatres rather than West end, and have yet to be disappointed.

i know it sounds old fashioned but i fancied going to hear val doonican,we entered what i felt was a fairly small theatre, and were shown to comfortable seats.
acoustics were great and we enjoyed val very much, older he might be,but he can still sing.
we enjoyed the theater and will certainly go again.

As a whole, the seating in the main block is good and i have seen some good shows & performances BUT, seats on the side to the rear are totally overpriced, uncomfortable and awkward. Last week, I had to sit on the edge of my chair for most of the evening and look over the trellis balcony because that was the only way to see the lovely Suggs on stage. The person to my left also had the same problem & i had to lean even further forward than he. It really spoilt the show for me and at £27, it was not money well spent.

This is a cosy, intimate little theatre where you have a good view of the stage from wherever you are in the auditorium. There is a good range of attractions on offer and a bar that serves snacks as well as drinks.

Came along with a friend who was 50 and she loved them, the only bad point was the bar very expensive and it is a shame really because if they were cheaper I am sure that people would have more drinks instead all I heard was OMG that's expensive , I am only going to have one drink

Great acts ranging from well known names, tribute acts, comedians, and tv personalities seem to enjoy our local theatre and this makes for great evenings out.
We always are impressed with the buzz surrounding any event and the foyer gatherings before and after the shows

This is my local theatre and I have to say we are extremely lucky to have such a lovely place to see shows, quite often there are some great acts on including many comedians and some great musical events. I went to see a Michael Jackson tribute night a short while ago and thought the show was brilliant.

As a local resource this venue is excellent. Most towns would love to have a theatre of this quality. I have seen numerous performances of varied nature and enjoyed them all. A varied list of artists and events are scheduled each year, so plenty for everyone at some point or other. Staff are friendly and the bar does reasonable food and drink if you just want to pop in for a bite and a drink.

Went to the play house to watch Harry Hill, and he was so funny, i have never laughed so much, very clean surroundings, very polite staff who served you very efficently. Good seats to watch the performance. Very impressed!

Went here for a Christmas panto. It was great value as if they don't sell all the tickets they put the prices down and sell them really cheap. The panto was great, very good for a small theatre, it was like something you would get at Wimbledon theatre or any other bigger theatre. I would recommend.

This is a lovely theatre. Wherever you sit you have a great view of the stage. There is a car park right next door. I am a regular visitor to this theatre and would highly recommend a visit to see one of the great shows they put on. Tickets aren't overpriced either!!

This is a great little theatre that has community events and more. Went to a local schools dance event this week the theatre staff were helpful and friendly and provided a booster seat for a young child sitting next to me. One negative the cafe was closed at the end so could not. relax after show with the ice cream I had promised my grand daughter.

This is a great small theatre which hosts excellent "west end" quality entertainment. In house bar with food and easy parking close by makes this the perfect night out.
