This was probably the best pantomime I have seen. It had the family in stitches. The dame was brilliant and the costumes she wore were magnificent. An excellent and good value entertainment for all the family. The whole cast deserve praise for wonderful performances. Well done Epsom play house.

Took the family to see Beauty and the Beast - this year's panto at the Epsom Playhouse. I've not been a regular here - I think I have been to a couple of comedy shows over the last few years - but it is a small, friendly venue that does put on some good shows.

The whole family - 6 yr old daughter, 4 yr old son plus me and my wife - really enjoyed the panto. There was excellent interaction with the audience and some very funny ad-libbing when a sketch involving custard pies saw the dame sliding/falling all over the stage in "her" high heeled boots!

My only gripe with the venue - and it is one that is common of so many theatres - is the ridiculously limited leg room between rows! I'm only 6' 1", but I felt like a giant sitting in my seat and I couldn't find a comfortable position for my legs for the duration!

If you are over about 5' 10", I'd seriously consider reserving a seat in one of the boxes or looking closely at the seating plan to find one that has a little more room!

Been here a few times. Small theatre so wherever you sit you'll have good views. Staff pleasant & playhouse clean. If you go to the theatre to pay for tickets you will still be subjected to the booking fee unless you pay in cash so might as well book online. Right next to Ashley centre so parking plentiful & loads of places to eat in Epsom

A friend was performing at the 'Myers Studio' last week, so we made the trip from Essex.

The Epsom Playhouse is a charming venue, in central Epsom, next door to the 'Ashley Centre' with its multi story car park. There are disabled spaces literally twenty yards from the theatre door.

The main auditorium was hosting an 'Abba' tribute, I took a peek inside during the interval and it looked lovely, seating 450 people - a nice size. The 'Myers Studio' seats about eighty and is an intimate venue, if the seats are a tad uncomfortable.

Having said that both venues were crowded, the bar and the toilets seemed to come well with the inevitable interval rush, and a splendid evening was had by all.

We go to the Playhouse regularly and its always a pleasure. Small theatre with an intimate feel. Seats slightly tight on leg room so we always try and get the end of a row.

Good local facility offering variety of shows. We went to see the Surrey Youth Ballet on Sunday...nice performance and afternoon out.
Seats are a little snug and it was bit hot but otherwise a good local facility. Very helpful staff.

Staff at Epsom Playhouse most helpful. Bar is comfortable for pre-drinks before a show and during interval. Staff friendly and service good. Show was excellent, with amazing scenery and singing. Choreography, comedy - jokes had the audience laughing, presentation excellent, very professional company. A company not to be missed when they return again in April 2016.

Went to see an Evening of Dirty Dancing and had a really good night. The theatre is well laid out with no obstructions and as it's a smaller local theatre you are always fairly close to the stage. Only slight downside is the relatively small bar and long queues at the interval for drinks. Otherwise it's Excellent.

Firstly, the venue was easy to find and excellent, well lit covered parking was only meters away from the front door - so I didn't get wet going from car to theatre. The place had a cosy bar, sold snacks and was clean and tidy. I would recommend this venue and I will return. A great experience.

I have seen several shows, including Sally Morgan and several comedy gigs at the playhouse. I've always been pleased with the customer service, friendly staff and seating. The venue is small enough that you feel part of the action. A great theatre with huge variety of shows!

Went to see comedy show and had a real laugh. Had a drink in bar when we arrived and also pre-ordered a drink for interval. On both occasions the bar was packed with queues so recommend arriving in plenty of time if you want serving and/or seats in bar. Main auditorium is good size and comfortable. Comedy show as very funny. I registered for Epsom Playhouse email newsletter so I can look out for upcoming shows as it can be a good night out. Car park in Ashley Centre right next door to Playhouse - handy but obviously costs.

We are lucky to have such a nice theatre in Epsom with its variety of shows to suit every taste. Amateur, professional, musical, play. The last one I attended was a Charity Variety Show which was well put together, choreographed and a most pleasant and enjoyable evening.

This is a great local theatre. There is a good variety of show, musicals on something that is bound to please every taste.
The small compact bar opens about an hour before the show starts, although the service in here is slow, so don't arrive to late if your wanting a drink first.
Drinks can be taken into the theatre with you.

As a regular theatre goer I have nothing but good things to say about this lovely venue. It attracts many major acts, many which I have seen before they embark on major arena tours, and the the staff always make you feel special and go out of their way to make this theatre visit a wonderful experience

Epsom Playhouse is a small, basic venue where you can enjoy most types of shows. The seats are quite hard but with plenty of legroom and no matter what sit you have, you will have a good view. Not enough toilets for ladies and the bar offers very little. The foyer a bit dated so can do with a little bit of redecorating.

A lovely little theatre, where every seat feels close to the action. There are all the usual theatre expensive extras to get you to spend more money too. It won't feel like a London theatre though; it is much more intimate than that.

It's small and very cosy, but with plenty of legroom. There is a good view from all seats because of its size. Booking is so easy, either online, on the phone or in person at the box office. Also the staff are so helpful. Excellent theatre with really good selection of shows.

Glad to see that the old school art is also managed and maintained well in this high tech arena. It's different and nice!

I may be slightly biased as this is my local theatre but I am very impressed with the standards at Epsom Playhouse. Yes, on first impressions it is rather small and compact but it has everything you need for a great night out! There's a bar, excellent, friendly staff and clean facilities. Seating aplenty for shows and comfortable too. The fact that the theatre is small doesnt stop them drawing in some big name acts and helps keep the prices for tickets reasonable. We attend here for pantos and this years (2014, Wizard of Oz) was fantastic! Have also seen a number of comedy acts here including Jimmy Carr and Dom Jolly. All in all it is a great venue, easily located, great facilities and nearby parking - you cant go wrong for a good night out!

Went to see the Wizard of Oz pantomime with my 5 yr old daughter. The staff were helpful, plenty of different refreshments available. Toilet queue in the interval is horrendous as it always is for the ladies at theatres. However, the production was fantastic - we were taking part as asked by the cast, laughing and singing and booing along. Great performance and we look forward to going next year.

A small theatre, workshops and art gallery, with music, comedians and dramatics. Small intimate bar, large foyer, advance booking facilities - have seen some excellent performances there
