I searched online for several different providers and Bedford Insurance, via propertyquotedirect.co.uk, came up with the cheapest landlord insurance policy, and yet one that included cover for contents, legal expenses, and malicious damage as standard, with the lowest compulsory excess I could find. Very impressive!
The online quote form was quick and easy to fill in, and I arranged cover in minutes. I've used Bedford Insurance before and am happy to do so again.

Not as responsive to a RFQ when compared to Direct Line, the tardiness might make people go elsewhere as I had to prompt BI twice to get a quote out of them. The proof will be in the pudding when it comes to actual claim processing or being read the 'small print' when a claim is denied. I'm sure they'll prove me wrong? Hence the 3 stars, for now.
