This place is just fab! And a must try! Without a doubt one of Guernsey’s hidden gems! The staff & team who run Saltwater are hard-working, dedicated & friendly. You feel a warm welcome from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. We had the Sunday roast which was incredible! Feels like home cooked food but served in the lovely & cosy ambience of the Saltwater restaurant. The roast potatoes are to die for! (just as good as anything cooked in the oven at home! Crunchy on the outside, fluffy in the middle with a nice garlicky flavour!) absolutely delishhh, and there was no shortage of gravy either! Which let’s face it, is a make or break for a roast dinner! Not forgetting the delicious starters & puddings too! The crab cakes were crispy, light & packed full of flavour, and the cherry Bakewell tart was insane! Short, buttery pastry, with a cheeky little cherry filling served with creamy vanilla ice cream, a perfect way to end a perfect meal! Can’t wait to return again very soon🤩

Usually a complete critic through and through, but honestly could not find fault with any of the food eaten. High end food, that seeps more quality then you can imagine, for any outing or hosting this is a great place to visit.

Absolutely delicious, even the bread and the dessert are perfect. We had turbot, scallops… very refined, one of the best restaurants in Guernsey and a relax atmosphere… no nonsense

Incredible food, the presentation and quality is as good as a fine dinning restaurant we choose from the Autumn festival set menu wow for the price and lots to choose from, (steak was absolute perfection) with fabulous service, Cherry on top was the deserts brilliant, We will definitely be back, best restaurant in Guernsey

A lovely sea food restaurant overlooking the beach. We had sea bass and fish and chips. Almost like a fine dining place. Freshly made food very reasonably priced. Will go again for sure.

Booked a table for a celebration wanted somewhere special, Saltwater came recommended so booked: arrived on time and taken to our table as requested by the window with a view of the marina. Ordered drinks, they came, about 20 minutes later the waitress took our Mains order, we didn’t have starters, we waited, ordered more drinks , people were seated after us, they received their starters within 10 minutes, still waiting for our meal, other people seated received their meal, still. Waited, it took an hour for our meal to come, our steaks were over done, we both asked for medium rare and both came well-done, we finished our meal about 9.15pm, we will not recommend and we will not be going back.

We sailed and stayed at beaucette marina and thought we would have lunch before leaving at the saltwater restaurant on site. We sat on a lovely table on the decking outside overlooking our very favourite view… boats! ⛵️…. I had oysters to start and then the local fish pie… it was honestly the BEST tasting fish pie ever, beautifully presented and cleverly the crab mash in the middle so you appreciated the gorgeous lumps of fresh fish in their scrummy sauce but didn’t get overwhelmed with mash ( or could indeed one could eat less if you’re not a potato kind of person!) I left nothing!!!they were short staffed and busy, but both our meals were amazing ( my husband had fresh local brill) and the staff were attentive and lovely. Can I also point out we were the first customers there and the fresh fish had not yet been delivered so they didn’t t even know what was coming! That shows fresh fish indeed AND a brilliant chef to have to work with what he gets delivered on the day! Amazing!

Excellent food from Matt the Chef.... absolutely 💯 Quite hidden away off the main track. However worth making the effort to come down and enjoy the service and food alongside the marina and great Seaviews. Wonderful experience.

Back here for Sunday lunch after a while , decided not to have starters, I remember the main course Sunday lunch was quite filling and followed with a suggestion from Suzy ? to order affogato , I did and ordered a baileys affogato which comes with a expresso . Perfect finish to the Sunday lunch .So yes disappointed ! I could not fault the service or food !
Well done for not letting down such a great location with a perfect view and quality Sunday food.

Fantastic food, great location. Really fresh sea bass, excellent vegetarian options. Childrens’ menu includes sirloin steak chips and peas which our daughter really enjoyed! Definitely recommended!

Well we’ve been once before, read the reviews and….we weren’t disappointed, it’s still great and deserves the top marks. Innovative menu with a choice of fish of the day, which was just great. Friendly and efficient staff and no long waits, despite being fully booked.

Went with my partner this evening for dinner, great selection on the A La carte menu and was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed,would definitely recommend. Will be going back soon. Great outside decking area with lovely views where you can relax and have a drink anytime,also Dog friendly.
