We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel was selected on the basis of parking, restaurant, spa, pool, sauna and location.

The service was good overall.

Our first room was very hot, the hotel was full, but we did move to a room described as noisy. It was only noisy during delivery times, so better than a hot room with no way of cooling it. It did take a bit of persuasion to move us, but we hot there in the end as I suspect they thought we wanted to change all 3 rooms, but we only needed to change 1.

We tried the afternoon tea with was good, then the spa, pool and sauna. All were well kept. There is a notice in reception to tell you when the pool is given over to kids.

I recently stayed at this hotel for the first time and have a mixed review in all honesty. I had a hire car and the fact that there is free hotel parking was really useful, however it was clear that a lot of outside visitors were using the hotel for the gym, and sometimes when returning in the evening it was difficult to obtain a space. I think this is a definite area of improvement. There should be parking for people staying at the hotel, and a separate area for outside visitors using the gym and spa. One morning I even saw a man park his car and leave it to walk to work nearby. I arrived at about 1pm and the room was not ready until 3pm, which I know is the usual check-in time, however after travelling for the best part of the day to get there, it would have been great for a room to have been ready. Nevertheless the lady on reception was very pleasant and ensured out luggage was stored safely. When the room was ready which was an Executive Twin, I was astonished to find that there was no air-conditioning. There was a noisy fan on a desk which I did not like in all honesty. We had a nice little balcony and had to sleep with the door open as it was extremely hot. I rang reception to ask if there were rooms with air-conditioning, to be informed that they had all been taken. I booked my trip some time ago, therefore I found this astonishing. I was simply informed that another fan could be brought to the room. We had a nice view of the tennis courts and the balcony was like a little sun trap. After unpacking I put my travel bag up in the top part of the wardrobe and it was filthy sadly, I had to wipe my bag down from all the dust. I also have a severe dust allergy and spent all week sneezing and on antihistamines sadly. It only improved when I left the room. When I arrived there was also a hair on my bed and also in the bath. The ironing board was awful, far to small and lopsided, I had to put a towel at one end on the floor to ensure it balanced properly. The iron was dreadful and leaked everywhere. I had to ask for a new one, and to be honest the replacement was not much better. If you have your own travel iron, I thoroughly recommend bringing it. The lighting wasn't great either, quite dark even in the bathroom. There was a TV and hairdryer and the bathroom was quite large which was great with a bathtub and shower and heated towel rail. I also found a shortage of electrical sockets in the room overall. The best part of the hotel stay by far was the breakfast. It was exquisite, so much variety and even a menu to order from if what you wanted was not there. I could not fault the breakfast at all and staff were very pleasant. The health facilities were also excellent. I really enjoyed using the gym. There are two rooms, one with weight machines and the other with tread mills etc and a large pool. The grounds of the hotel are very pleasant with a lovely fountain and lake. The concierge man was also very pleasant and helpful. The Pavilion Restaurant is extremely expensive. I only ate there once due to the prices. There are certainly cheaper meals nearby. If you turn right out of the hotel and drive uphill, on your left you will come to a place called 'The Oak' which serves very reasonably priced bar meals which are excellent. There is also a hair salon in the hotel which a few people seemed to be using. Before booking my trip to Guernsey and thinking about a hotel to stay in, I read that this hotel was a short walk from St Peter Port Town centre, which was a reason for booking this hotel, as I knew that parking in St Peter Port can be a real problem. I attempted walking one day from the hotel and it was simply too far. It is definitely not a short walk from the hotel. You certainly need a car or bus to get to the town centre or you will be walking for the best part of an hour if not more.

Visit started very badly, room not available until 15.50 especially after leaving home at 6am. The room itself was on the small side with dark furniture and desperately requiring modernisation (if this was an Executive room dear knows what the Classic rooms are like !)
However the rest of the hotel was very good. Pavillion Restaurant was fine although they need to polish up on the service standards. Staff were all friendly and helpful

Staff were okay, smelt very odd in the lobby and generally around the hotel. The balcony was handy for cigarettes at night. Defo for an older market.

Breakfast was average. Would
Maybe stay again but not for fun.

We were very pleased with the service here. Rooms were comfortable ( though shower extractor fan didn’t work) and well equipped. We had a view over the lake.

The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of items on offer.

The outside jacuzzi was a delight to use in the rain! The pool is a good size and there is a sauna and steam room.

We had problems getting taxis but the hotel kindly stepped in and got us to local venues in their shuttle bus. Very kind.

We strongly recommend the linked Nineteen bar and grill.

Room was lovely with nice balcony. however the safe was on the floor of the wardrobe which made it difficult to get at.
Breakfast was ok if you stuck to the fruit, yoghurt and pastries. Unfortunately, the cooked breakfast was left out too long - even at 8am the fried eggs were rubbery and an ordered omelette took 20 mins and three reminders.

This lovely room has an outdoor verandah that overlooks the tennis court with a view of the golf course through the trees beyond the tennis courts.

There is a king size bed in the room and a good size bathroom.

The fitness area is spread out over 3 different rooms which are not interlinked. You need to find where each one is. The cardio vascular equipment is in a room overlooking the lake ..... the views are superb. There is a water dispenser for public use in the room with toilets just across the reception hallway.

Guests can take a walk around the lake which has a fountain at its centre.

The public bar area is spacious and has an outdoor verandah with seating and tables overlooking the lake.

One of the evenings I was there, there was a function and the music was quite loud. I wasn't going to bed early so it wasn't an issue and the hotel did send a note to the room warning that there was going to be an
evening event which I thought was very polite.

Four for lunch on Father's Day. Hmm . . .

Not the best day to judge, but we booked at 13:00 and is wasn't busy . .

Nice welcome and decent menu

Chose mains of sirloin steak and lamb. Lamb was stunningly succulent and tasty!!

Sirloin tough and dull. Why??
Complained and cost reduced, but why did they get a simple choice like this 'wrong'?

Sides ok; but cauliflower looked awful, though tasted fine

Overall:
Service, tried hard, but slow . .
Food; lamb stunning!
Sirloin poor . . .
Draw your own conclusions . . .

Return?
Hmm - might try elsewhere

Stayed 4 nights at the St Pierre Park last July and loved it so much we're heading back this July for 5 nights. We had an upgraded room which was quiet and overlooked the grounds at the back. Our balcony was spacious and great for sitting out enjoying a drink.
Staff friendly and helpful. Also enjoyed the indoor pool and outside jacuzzi.
Buses stop close to the hotel for 10 min journey into St Peter Port and Waitrose is 5 mins walk - handy for essentials.
Looking forward to our next stay in a few weeks time.

The St Pierre Park is located in Rohais on outskirts of St Peter Port, 5 minutes walk to bus stop and 6 minutes ride into town. The grounds are extensive and beautifuly maintained. Staff are very friendly and service is good. Excellent cooked breakfast buffet, continental breakfast plus specials cooked to order. Restaurant is good but nothing special. Room had plenty of storage, quality wooden hangers (not the ones you have to unhook) and very good hair dryer. Executive room, tastefully decorated but not very big. Balcony disappointing, top floor rooms have tiny balconies just able to accommodate a small table and one chair. Good range of spa treatments but did not try as weather too good and it was often fully booked. A very pleasant stay.

Very friendly staff, rooms clean and good sized. Bed and pillows uncomfortable. Fabulous breakfast. Disappointing evening bar meal. Great for husband to walk round to driving range whilst I went for a massage which was excellent. Would stay there again

My son bought me a voucher for afternoon tea with him. It is a fabulous setting with a glorious outlook from the Pavilion restaurant.
The staff were quite attentive and happy to accommodate an extra person - my young grandson.
I was a little disappointed in the fare that was provided. The scones were a little hard and the cake selection was a little lacking. As a teacher i think my report would say - could do better!

Another wonderful stay in great hotel, this being our 6th visit. Staff are so friendly and polite. Great choice at breakfast. Rooms are clean and tidy, the beds are so comfortable. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. Pool & Spa really good, pool has set times for children to use in the morning & afternoon.
Only minor gripe the temperature of the pool seemed a little on the cold side. Looking forward to the next stay.

Wonderful relaxing hotel. Fantastic attentive staff, good food, clean, what more can we say. Lovely extensive gardens. Conveniently located as we walked into St. Peter Port which was all down hill. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel in beautiful Guernsey on the outskirts of the main town.

Slightly disappointed that as part of our booking we had been upgraded to an ‘executive’ room but it’s balcony was tiny and only one person could sit out. The hotel was quiet and there were many rooms with bigger balconies so I asked if we could be moved as I didn’t really feel it was an ‘executive’ room. They declined which I thought was disappointing.

However, we had a lovely stay and very much enjoyed our visits to the beautiful spa and amazing outdoor jacuzzi. We also enjoyed sitting on the bar terrace looking at the beautiful gardens and pond with its friendly ducks.

We did not eat dinner in the hotel as the vegetarian choices were not great and expensive for what they were. We ate in the town, the bus stop was just outside the hotel grounds.

There were quite a lot of workers and businessmen staying there and in the bar at night it was always football on both tv screens which I found annoying.

Also very nice club house on the adjacent golf course and fun crazy golf.

A lovely stay all in all!

We stayed here for a week during our holiday. The room was disabled ready with wet room with well thoought out fittings. The staff were very attentive in all areas of the hotel. We only ate once in the terrace bar, but it was hot, fresh and very enjoyable. We had breakfast every day which included full english, various poached eggs and eggs benedict. Continental and serials with the normal juices were also available. The house keeping staff had forgoten to top up the coffee in our room one morning. One quick phone call to house keeping and we had more coffe within minutes. Nothing seemed too much for the staff.
We also used the pool, steam room and sauna. Very well kept and disabled fliendly. The Spa staff were also very good.

Lovely room overlooking greenery and tennis courts. Spa was good, steam, sauna, pool, outside heated jacuzzi. Bar had usual sport only on two televisions, not everyone likes this.

Pricey breakfast but sadly, due to dietary needs, they couldn't lightly poach an egg even on Egg Benedict day. Serving staff were a little embarrassed as it happened on several days.
On two nights we wanted to eat in there was only broccoli soup on offer so went out and found lovely Italian Da Nellos and an Indian The Taj.

Would we stay there again ...yes. Would we eat there...not really.

My room was comfortable but felt very old fashioned and some of the amenities weren’t quite up to scratch considering that the room was quite expensive. For example, the iron in my room was really leaky and didn’t work very well. The bedside lights were very dated and one of them was faulty. Ended up burning my side when I was in the shower when I went to turn the temperature up a little bit, the water went scalding before cooling down to the temperature I wanted.

I wish there had been a few more sockets and one next to the bed so that I might have charged my kindle whilst reading it of a night. The walls were quite thin so I could hear the television of those in the room next to me and their conversations which was a little disconcerting.

Having said all of this, the staff were very helpful and the grounds of the hotel are very pretty. They had a great selection of gins in the bar and the breakfast buffet was extensive. The hot food options from the breakfast buffet weren’t the best, I had a fried egg which was extremely over cooked and rubbery, if I came again I think I would order something off the menu rather than going to the buffet for a hot food option.

I booked myself in for a facial in the spa on the day that I left and I wish now that I had been down there sooner and took advantage of their relaxation room. The spa was really gorgeous and my facial was a dream.

Overall, I don’t think my room was worth the money but I appreciate that I came during the bank holiday weekend so it was more expensive. The room does really need a revamp to make it more modern. Can’t recommend the spa enough.

My 7th visit to what was formally my favourite hotel was a let down. I booked four rooms one of which was dirty , an upgrade was given which was appreciated. My room was scruffy and was in need of decoration. The bar food menu had less choice than previous years so we dined out on several evenings. One morning there was no hot water, no apology or notice was forhcoming. Not 4 star service. The newspaper ordered for Saturday did not arrive but I recieved Thursday and Fridays newspaper which I returned unread each day. These papers appeared on my bill at checkout. The first 3 mornings of our stay the breakfast staff had to hurriedly arrange a table for all of my family. The 4th and last morning all was arranged. I mentioned my complaints to management who appeared sympathetic but no action was taken or any response. In all not to the standard I have previously experienced.

I stay here frequently on business and the team are so friendly & welcoming, nothing is ever too much trouble.
Superb gym, spa and pool and thoroughly recommend the rib eye steak & chips as a workout reward!

Warm reception, the hotel is very clean and tidy. The health facilities are lovely, very clean pool areas with modern outside seating deck which we made the most of due to good weather.

A very family friendly hotel, depends of course on your preference to family friendly establishments. We did visit in the Easter holidays so were expecting family guests. The pool was very busy at times so as a couple with no children we avoided these times of day.

Grounds are beautiful. We ate in the terrace bar twice and the food was good, good attentive service.

Our room was a recently modernised room, again very clean and well thought out for the guests. Coffee machine and fridge were much appreciated. My only nag was that we were opposite a service lift which was noisy when in use early in the morning and we could hear a whirring water pump or something which did wake us a few times in the night. However, that is my only niggle.

Breakfast selection was buffet style predominately, good selection and had also catered for specific dietary requirements (GF, non dairy).

The bedding was very fresh, and the pillows were comfy - always a big thing for me.
Would certainly revisit without hesitation. This is a busy hotel and they do what they do well.

Great location for St Peter Port, bus routes and Waitrose.

Stayed for 4 nights on a short break to the island. First impressions were good, a large premises in its own grounds with ample parking. Check-in staff helpful, we had a junior suite which was large, clean with a lovely king size bed. Each suite opens onto a semi-private roof balcony with a hot tub and patio furniture, we utilised the hot tub, very good.

We used the lounge bar a few times and the young man looking after the bar was a credit to the hotel. Breakfast is self service buffet or you can order from a menu, the buffet breakfast was OK but you will experience a delay if ordering from the menu especially at peak times. We didn’t take any other meals in the hotel so can’t comment on the restaurant.

We did try to book a spa treatment but couldn’t get a slot as it seems very popular.

If we visit the island again I would stay at this hotel again.

I visited the St Pierre Hotel for business and little touches let down this 5 star hotel.

The terrace room, a good place for meeting people, was unmanned at 8.30am. Nobody to assist any guests or visitors. A big lounge unmanned!

My reserved table had been wiped with a dirty cloth leaving wipe marks on the table. Highly viable.

The toilets were clean but the towel peddle bin did not work which made a mockery of washing your hands as you had to lift the lid manually. How many germs?

The middle toilet cubicle had the jacket hook removed. Should you put your jacket on the floor? The expression " Couldnt swing a cat in" applied to the size of the cubicle.

The final insult in the "Terrace " meeting area was two glasses but no water on the pre booked table. I asked the receptionist but was greeted with " I'm on my own." Not her fault but 30 minutes later no water! Surely someone could have attended to that?

Now 50 minutes and no water or staff presence. Every felt alone and un cared for?

More attention to detail required.

It was the first time to Guernsey for my friend but thankfully she loved every minute! The hotel is on a bus route with buses every 10 minutes Waitrose is just across the road for any little extras.Ideal!
