we really enjoyed a 3 night break booked through Channel Islands Direct which was ideal; the rooms were lovely, breakfast and snacks very good indeed and we received constantly friendly professional service; all this plus an exceedingly smart leisure club with a feature hot tub which is superb - would love to return

Brilliant friendly staff, suite spotless clean and everything provided for you, nothing was to much trouble! Even thought there was two events being held the hotel was still nice and quiet, and everything off by 12pm!
Definitely going to stay again!

We stayed here 28 years ago for our honeymoon and returned for a weekend away to celebrate my birthday.
We stayed in a junior suite which was lovely and we had a terrace with a hot tub. The hot tub had been set at 41 degrees which was far too hot so we reset it for 38 which was great once it cooled down.
We ate in the hotel restaurant both nights and as vegans we were very well catered for. There was nothing suitable on the menu but the chef came up with a few options for us to choose from (perhaps they should be on the menu). The restaurant staff were excellent.
We had breakfast in the Victor Hugo restaurant and again the staff were very good and provided us with good vegan options. We had lunch one day in the bar which was also good and there was a vegan option on the menu.
We both had treatments in the spa which were excellent, it has all been renovated since our last visit and is a beautiful area with excellent staff. One of the best massages and facials we have ever had.
The grounds of the hotel are lovely and we enjoyed a walk around the grounds and the golf course.
It was a lovely nostalgic weekend and a lovely hotel, if we ever go back to Guernsey we would definitely stay there again.

Loved the hotel. Some of the 80s styling is really lovely and a little tired in places. All members of staff we encountered were excellent , efficient and very welcoming. Our room was quite large and had a small balcony. Room decor a little tired but it was spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were very good and we had dinner one evening and it was also a very good quality. We used the swimming pool one afternoon and the pool, sauna, steam room and outside bubble bath were lovely and clean. Although we didn’t use the gym it looked to have quality equipment. We wouldn’t hesitate returning to this hotel as we loved it.

Very friendly and attentive staff throughout the hotel.

We had arrived just before midday looking to just drop our luggage off but fortunately our room was already cleaned and were able to check in.

Regarding the room; the bed was super comfortable, room was spacious and clean. Nice inclusion of a balcony although unfortunately given we stayed in the winter we never actually used it. The downside would be the decor in the room is very dated and worn which prevents me from giving 5/5.

We had both dinner and breakfast in the hotel during our stay and both were very nice.

Spent three nights in this hotel. Weather was very poor so we got full use of the gym and spa. Staff very friendly and helpful, room very comfortable and cleaned daily. Grounds are very pleasant and looked good even in the rain. Breakfast was included in the price and is exceptional. We have evening meals in the Pavilion Restaurant and ate from the Tennerfest menu. Food again high quality and excellent service from the waiting staff. We hired a car and parking at the hotel was always available. The spa and gym area were of a good quality, and I had a relaxing massage. The spa and gym are used by the general public but we had no issues with overcrowding during our visit. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

I stayed recently for a birthday celebration, spa weekend with a group of 11 ladies. From the booking to the check and beyond I cannot fault the standard of care/service, attention to detail, professionalism, friendliness, cleanliness value for money. We all had an amazing experience and left with memories we will cherish for ever.
The rooms were spacious and well kept and the spa was wonderful, both for the amenities (loving the outside jacuzzi and the sauna with glass walls overlooking the spaparkland) and the treatments. The hotel and spa staff could not do enough to make our stay the best ever. What more can I say but thank you.

This hotel and spa is amazing. On a recent weekend visit with friends, all our expectations were met by the hotel and spa area. Big thanks to Emily in the spa and Ionna form the hotel. Good location on excellent bus route....actually you don't really need to leave the hotel during your visit. From the very good breakfast to drinks at the bar. Simply make a booking both at the hotel and spa - treatments at the spa were the best I have ever had Thank you all and see you again soon

This is the 1st time we have visited this hotel and it was beyond our expectations. We were so thrilled we found it and we certainly enjoyed using the perfect indoor swimming pool and all the staff were fantastic especially the conceirge who advised us about the island and the meals were very good especially the tennerfest. The only little fault is the self service breakfast is just the eggs looked like they were rubber ones. I enjoyed the rest of the self service they had to offer. The terrace bar area is perfect for relaxing and the views over the lake with fountain is lovely and calming.Shame we couldnt sit outside as it was rather chilly october day.Certainly we had a fabulous mini honeymoon there and the port only 20 minutes walk away. The hotel is on bus route so can get it to the port if you needed to. Overall 10 out of 10.

Today we visited to celebrate my birthday, we did the 2 for 1 champagne afternoon tea. When the 3 tiered afternoon tea came we were left disappointed. The scones hadn't risen properly and were quite hard, the ham in the sandwiches was cheap shop bought ham, the cakes were grainy from incorrect sugar being used and the other cakes tasted like packet mix cake. I had also said in the booking that one was dairy and egg free but when given the afternoon tea only the sandwiches were made for that which left not being able to eat anything else.

Our second stay at this hotel and whilst the staff lived up to expectations there were some disappointments in the hotel. The gardens were not as immaculate as 2 years ago, with weeds on paths etc. Our main issue was a wedding celebration on the last day of our holiday. We received a letter after it had started but our room was above the function room with smoke preventing us using our balcony and extremely loud music making the room shake at 8.30 & expected to continue until midnight. We contacted the duty manager and he let us use a room away from the noise so we were able to get come sleep. We were not the only guests who moved rooms. I think the hotel has to decide whether it is a hotel or a wedding venue. We were planning on using the bar on our last night but because of the noise and disruption we felt inclined not to. Also using the bar for food means a 'discretionary' 10% service charge, & there is nothing discretionary about it; it is added to the bill. This is not a posh restaurant and you would not expect this charge; it is a pub bar and unacceptable. For the reasons given we feel inclined to choose another hotel for future holidays in Guernsey.

My husband and I took his parents away on holiday and stayed at St Peirre Park Hotel, due to it having a pool, gym and was a good location. Check in was a little longer than usual, but the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had rooms next door to each other and they were adequate having all the amenities we needed, my husband loved the coffee. There were small balconies, which were lovely to sit out on and enjoy the sunshine. The hotel was busy hosting events, but still didn't seem over crowded and used the pool and outdoor Jacuzzi and sauna and steam room a couple of times whilst there, I even attended a dance class and we used the gym daily. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food and dishes to order fresh, which we tried. We also ate and drank in the bar and the restaurant which was equally as good. The location is ideal for both the supermarket and bus stop taking you all over the island, I would definitely recommend this hotel, although it would have been nice to have stayed in a refurbished room which I believe has air conditioning. All the staff were friendly and helpful and they arrange to take us back to the airport when we left. Thank you for a lovely break.

Large hotel, located a bout a 10 minute drive from St Peter Port in the middle of the island.

What was once Guernsey's premier hotel, is now starting to fade a little, from a room update and people service perspective.

The Good: Plenty of parking, nice grounds with a lake, outdoor terrace and nice spa. Good quality buffet breakfast with options to order cooked to order items. Lovely, big, comfortable bed and linens. Tiny balcony with one seat to sit out on, but was nice in the morning sun.

The Not so Good: Rooms are a little tired, with the furniture and decor showing it's age. Carpet had lots of stains on, bathroom toilet holder broke on first day and was not repaired during the stay. Door into my room on the second floor, which was opposite the lift, had a large gap at the bottom, meaning you could hear conversations of people passing and going in and out of the lift. Walls were thin, and I could hear next door's tv. Service from staff was so so. Checking in, took a long time, and seemed overly complicated. Breakfast staff were lovely, but absent at times, so took a while to attract their attention, but when you did, they were very nice and helpful.

This is my third visit to the hotel and the spa facilities have been upgraded. There is a big pool (remember children only swimming times) an outside hot tub and a sauna you can view the beautiful gardens from. The gyms - there are 2 are the best I have ever had in a hotel in Guernsey or the UK - well down St Pierre Park

We stayed here while visiting the fabulous island, we were not disappointed, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are week maintained, the garden is beautiful and nicely light in the evening.

The spa facilities are good, the pool is one constant depth (no deep end!).

We wanted afternoon tea, but had not booked, needles to say they accommodated us and we had a lovely afternoon tea with excellent service.

Would highly recommend this hotel

We were staying in a hotel in St Peter Port but caught the bus here to have a game of crazy golf. The course was a good 12 holes and the cost a reasonable £6.50 each. I came with my elderly mother and we really enjoyed our time here - sadly she beat me! - good fun.

Was staying at the St Pierre Hotel, so had to visit here as it’s a short walk. Set out is great, my husband is a golf enthusiast, so he was in his element. Menu had lots of choice, so didn’t struggle to order. It was very busy, and noisy, but our party had four kids, so they fitted in well. The tempura prawns where very tasty, and the steak was delightful. Staff where great, apart from one of the guys, who could have been a little happier…… I know we had four restless kids, but kids are kids.
Ordered ice cream for pudding, lots of variety of flavours, dark chocolate was the best! Ate here for a second time the day later, dinner, and again clean plates – well done! Definitely recommend.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel was selected on the basis of parking, restaurant, spa, pool, sauna and location.

The service was good overall.

Our first room was very hot, the hotel was full, but we did move to a room described as noisy. It was only noisy during delivery times, so better than a hot room with no way of cooling it. It did take a bit of persuasion to move us, but we hot there in the end as I suspect they thought we wanted to change all 3 rooms, but we only needed to change 1.

We tried the afternoon tea with was good, then the spa, pool and sauna. All were well kept. There is a notice in reception to tell you when the pool is given over to kids.

I recently stayed at this hotel for the first time and have a mixed review in all honesty. I had a hire car and the fact that there is free hotel parking was really useful, however it was clear that a lot of outside visitors were using the hotel for the gym, and sometimes when returning in the evening it was difficult to obtain a space. I think this is a definite area of improvement. There should be parking for people staying at the hotel, and a separate area for outside visitors using the gym and spa. One morning I even saw a man park his car and leave it to walk to work nearby. I arrived at about 1pm and the room was not ready until 3pm, which I know is the usual check-in time, however after travelling for the best part of the day to get there, it would have been great for a room to have been ready. Nevertheless the lady on reception was very pleasant and ensured out luggage was stored safely. When the room was ready which was an Executive Twin, I was astonished to find that there was no air-conditioning. There was a noisy fan on a desk which I did not like in all honesty. We had a nice little balcony and had to sleep with the door open as it was extremely hot. I rang reception to ask if there were rooms with air-conditioning, to be informed that they had all been taken. I booked my trip some time ago, therefore I found this astonishing. I was simply informed that another fan could be brought to the room. We had a nice view of the tennis courts and the balcony was like a little sun trap. After unpacking I put my travel bag up in the top part of the wardrobe and it was filthy sadly, I had to wipe my bag down from all the dust. I also have a severe dust allergy and spent all week sneezing and on antihistamines sadly. It only improved when I left the room. When I arrived there was also a hair on my bed and also in the bath. The ironing board was awful, far to small and lopsided, I had to put a towel at one end on the floor to ensure it balanced properly. The iron was dreadful and leaked everywhere. I had to ask for a new one, and to be honest the replacement was not much better. If you have your own travel iron, I thoroughly recommend bringing it. The lighting wasn't great either, quite dark even in the bathroom. There was a TV and hairdryer and the bathroom was quite large which was great with a bathtub and shower and heated towel rail. I also found a shortage of electrical sockets in the room overall. The best part of the hotel stay by far was the breakfast. It was exquisite, so much variety and even a menu to order from if what you wanted was not there. I could not fault the breakfast at all and staff were very pleasant. The health facilities were also excellent. I really enjoyed using the gym. There are two rooms, one with weight machines and the other with tread mills etc and a large pool. The grounds of the hotel are very pleasant with a lovely fountain and lake. The concierge man was also very pleasant and helpful. The Pavilion Restaurant is extremely expensive. I only ate there once due to the prices. There are certainly cheaper meals nearby. If you turn right out of the hotel and drive uphill, on your left you will come to a place called 'The Oak' which serves very reasonably priced bar meals which are excellent. There is also a hair salon in the hotel which a few people seemed to be using. Before booking my trip to Guernsey and thinking about a hotel to stay in, I read that this hotel was a short walk from St Peter Port Town centre, which was a reason for booking this hotel, as I knew that parking in St Peter Port can be a real problem. I attempted walking one day from the hotel and it was simply too far. It is definitely not a short walk from the hotel. You certainly need a car or bus to get to the town centre or you will be walking for the best part of an hour if not more.

Visit started very badly, room not available until 15.50 especially after leaving home at 6am. The room itself was on the small side with dark furniture and desperately requiring modernisation (if this was an Executive room dear knows what the Classic rooms are like !)
However the rest of the hotel was very good. Pavillion Restaurant was fine although they need to polish up on the service standards. Staff were all friendly and helpful
