I would like to say a huge thank you to all the girls at Lance James Hertford, what can I say from the beginning moment my husband and I got engaged we knew you guys were the only place to go shopping, you were all so helpful with showing us different stones, metals and designs to actually finding my dream ring!. Then repeating the same magic with helping us to pick our wedding bands, you made it such an easy process to custom make my wedding band to match my engagement ring and I cannot thank you enough for how amazing it is, I am over the moon with happiness!. Lastly I have to mention the amazing job you girls also did on the custom made and engraved silver guitar pick for our best man. Jackie and her team at Lance James the Jewellers Hertford are brilliant! Always a really warm welcome when I pop in - not just for me but my little dog too! I've been using Jackie for nearly 10 years, for all sorts of jewellery jobs, from tiny repairs to bigger commissions. I completely trust them to not only give me expert advice but to do a brilliant job. Most recently, my sister had the bright idea to turn her silver christening mug into a bangle - it looks fantastic (and is no longer sitting in a cupboard...) - can't wait to see what Jackie is going to create from mine! Jackie and Sian are experts. I have popped in for advice, for jewellery cleaning and mending, bought presents for others and loved the professionalism and friendliness that they always present. I have entrusted some important heirloom jewellery to Jackie to remodel, a ring and earrings, and I also asked for design ideas for my engagement ring. The results are always stunning! I am not a type of person that purchases everyday designs out of the window, so when I was left a piece of jewellery from a relative I wanted to have this redesigned. I had no idea of what style of ring I wanted or how I could use the stones. I went into see Jackie & Sian as I knew they were both jewellery designers and there years of experience would make this piece of jewellery transform into something special. When I picked up my piece of jewellery it was so beautiful it bought tears to my eyes. The difference with Lance James and all the staff to anywhere else I have been, they are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble (I'm sure I have driven them mad sometimes) and listen to your needs and give great ideas and advice. I have since been back and had a second piece of jewellery redesigned and have also recommended a relative to them. I would not go anywhere else as there work and professionalism is second to none.

My girlfriend couldn’t find the engagement ring she wanted so I thought it would be best for her to design it then it would be exactly what she wanted. After having a few quotes that were really expensive, Lance James offered a much more reasonable quote so my girlfriend went to their shop in Hertford to discuss her designs. She met with Sian and Amy who were both really helpful. I had already bought her centre diamond so they were discussing the setting and extra diamonds she wanted adding. They had a few meetings to discuss designs and sent lots of emails back and forth so everything was explained very well. Sian was very patient and knowledgeable offering advice about the setting, side diamonds, sizing and cost. Needless to say when I actually proposed, the ring was exactly what she wanted. She loves it more each day. My new Fiancé is quite a perfectionist so the service and expertise at Lance James in Hertford was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this Company, you get a much more personal and tailored experience rather than shopping with High Street Jewellers that everyone goes to. Plus her ring is a one off. We will be back for her wedding band
