We took our 3 grandchildren aged 4,7 and 9 today and they absolutely loved t as did we. Great mix with the dinosaurs and the zoo. Very reasonably priced and when we could not go on the date we originally booked due to self isolation they readily changed our dates. I would highly recommend this as a great day out.

My daughter recommended this park as an alternative to Colchester Zoo as it is smaller, we weren’t disappointed it was a fantastic place. They have a large collection of animals and I found the information on the placards next to the enclosures were easy to read and informative. Easy to find and plenty of free parking and reasonably priced ( apart from the food in the restaurant)

Just had a fantastic evening at dinos after dark-a special addition to the usual park activities and attractions
BUT ONLY OPEN for a few evenings I think during Halloween so book it quick
Lovely atmosphere bit spooky/Halloween theme and walking through the dinosaurs at night is something special
Went with grandchildren aged 3 and 7 and 10 and they loved it
Lots of other children’s activities between 530 and 8 pm so a good fun evening
Well worth booking if you can as only open for this activity for a few days
Really lovely
Well done all the staff adhering to social distancing and regular sanitising to comply with Covid rules all had smiles and friendly faces a credit to paradise park

My husband and I took part in the red panda experience yesterday and it was magical. Our guide, Clare, did an excellent job telling us all about red pandas in the wild as well as the history of their cheeky pair. I got to feed their female, Tilly, who managed to steal my heart as well as gently take chunks of apple from me. They put on quite a show for us, running around the enclosure, up and down the tree and even between my feet at one point. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended. Rest of the park is lovely too, great place to bring kids and the animals look well cared for. Enjoy!

We had the best day at Paradise park getting to meet Nam Pang and Tilly the red pandas. We originally was meant to do this experience in April but due to covid it was cancelled but luckily we was able to reschedule for a date we wanted for
The staff were great and really helpful. Feeding the pandas was an experience I will never forget. The weather was great too
There isn’t as much animals here as you’d expect in a zoo but it is still a great place. The food vendors here are extremely expensive so if you’re going I’d recommend to bring food already

Had a great day at the paradise yesterday. The one-way system worked well and there was a lot of hand sanitizer around the park and a lot of signs to tell you to keep your distance and it was not crowded. It was good to see all the staff wearing face masks, to protect the animals. Shame most of the other visitors were not and some broke social distancing, but the park cannot stop that (That’s just people unfortunately). It is great to see that the paradise is updating and changing enclosures to make them better for the animals. (I have seen some comments by other people saying the enclosure are too small, which is wrong, but I have been to 43 zoo’s around the UK and paradise is one of the better ones for animals). The new tiger enclosure is brilliant, giving them lots of room. I am looking forward to seeing the new sun bear enclosure when it is completed. The glass windows on the enclosures made it good for taking photos and because it was not crowded it was quiet, so more animals were out. The food and drink are good prices, and the entrance price is good, compared to other zoo’s. Would highly recommended going to paradise.

I genuinely thought this place was superb. Despite it raining heavily, nothing could dampen the fun for my two and three year olds. As dinosaur lovers they were completely in awe of the dinosaur world. A fantastic range of dinosaurs and they are brilliant, fantastic sounds and movements make them feel eerily real. Amazing array of animals and friendly staff and all at a sensible price. Thank you for a lovely and memorable day and we will without the doubt be back hopefully when the sun is out.

We had a really enjoyable day to celebrate our son’s 12th birthday at Paradise Park. It’s clear to see that the staff have a real passion for the animals in their care and for great customer service.
The lions and tigers looked comfortable in their spacious enclosures, and the viewing windows everywhere were spotlessly clean - the effort put into cleaning these alone must be a full-time job!
The park has plenty of hand sanitiser points and a very effective one-way system throughout. There were also extra portaloos dotted around the park which were being regularly cleaned - a godsend on a day out with children. We didn’t feel uncomfortable at any point as there was plenty of space for all visitors without any crowds or pinch points.
There were a lot of different animals to see, plenty of clear information signs about them and good play facilities for the children to burn off some energy. The dinosaur forest was a particular highlight, again with clear, well-kept and well-described exhibits. The signs contained a few puns as well - clearly the work of someone with a keen sense of humour.
We chose this zoo over the others in the London area because they are clear about where the admission fees are spent. It was great to visit Paradise Park in the knowledge that our investment will stay local. My thanks to all the staff for giving us a really enjoyable day.

I went to the Paradise wildlife park during a Cooks coaches day trip. The park is operating a one way system due to restrictions, the animals all looked well cared for, my main interest was the big cats. There is only one place on site open for the sale of food. The park is well worth a visit, highly recommended.

The social distancing was very good. It was well organised and lots of hand stations around the park.

The dinosaurs were brilliant. Really enjoyed this.

The only thing that I felt needed improving was the toilets and the baby changing facilities were poor and not big enough. It was difficult task and I didn’t feel they were clean enough.

It’s worth a visit, the animals were good. Parks and lots to see and do.

Can as part of a steampunk day out, before the restrictions went down to 6. Perfect place for a great day out. The park have taken care and consideration of how to open and keep people safe. Lots of signs up, distancing and cleaning on the train and a one way systems in place to make you feel safe.
The Dino park what great fun this was, love the moving dinosaurs, great spots to take pictures.
Not been to a zoo of a number of years, but the animals have space and seem happy and well cared for. The park is spilt in two with dinosaurs and playground one side and animals the other.
Missed the speedway on this visit, but hopefully next time.
Candy floss ice cream was amazing.
Only to improve (I may have missed this), we didn’t see the disabled assistance until we walked all the way in to the wolves enclosure, would be good or have a sign or bell at the entrance.
Dinosaur walk ways and the zoo all have great path ways to make it easy for anyone in a wheel chair to move around.
Great place, very expressed.

Went for my sons 4th birthday and had an amazing day out from start to finish. The dinosaurs were so life like (to my 4 year old anyway), there is a small train which goes through the dinosaur trail, was a bit disappointed to have to pay £2 each to go in when already paid to enter the park but hey ho. There are a few little slides dotted around and then a big play park which was good. The zoo was brilliant, couldn't believe how close you could get to the animals, will be returning when the new tiger enclosure opens. Everything is close together which is good for little legs. Would definitely recommend for a fun day out for all the family.

Good experience overall however keen to know why the fake dinosaurs have more space than the real wolves who are living in a small cage? Not sure if the park is the one for animal lovers

Paradise Wildlife Park has always been a gem in Hertfordshire. Has a friendly, family feel with well looked after animals. This was first time I’d seen the Dino-Park and had an 11 year old with me. To be honest, expected it to be bit naff but not at all! We thought the dinosaurs were great, moving about and roaring. Lots of different things across the park to entertain young and old. The kids love the train.

The is not a huge zoo but that’s the beauty - no long queues, can see the animals and friendly staff.

Good distancing measures in place to keep you safe.

Third trip to this lovely place with our two grandchildren. Due to Covid we were of course a little wary as to our safety but need not have worried. Paradise have really put a lot of thought into the safety of visitors, staff and of course the animals. Pre- booked ticket only. Limited numbers, ‘hanitizers’ (as our youngest granddaughter calls them) prolific and always full. One way system, markings everywhere. Unfortunately there are some areas that are no go at the moment but everyone understands that and it did not lesson our enjoyment of the day. Still as clean as always and reasonable prices for food and drinks. A wonderful day out for us all. Long may they continue.
You have to go!!!!!

Visited here with two friends for a day out. There’s a one way system in place and hand sanitiser throughout the whole place. It was busy, so no idea what it’s like at full capacity. We had a really good day, lots to see and do. Food wasn’t expensive which was great but there are a lot of wasps! Would definitely return
