Not a lot open yet really very little for the kids to do but lovely to see the animals. Have memberships so didn't mind but if paying entry fee would be disappointed

Top Tip: Make sure to set aside time to visit the Dinosaur park. My son, a dinosaur-obsessed tot, is absolutely obsessed. However, as a forewarning, you might be out of pocket after visiting the gift shop!

Watch out for the seasonal changes to entry prices, and be aware: if you’re planning a day out in the summer, there is a huge disparity in the pricing vs if you were to visit in winter.

Overall, I strongly recommended a day out at Paradise Wildlife Park.

This zoo is a wonderful place for all the family or on your own, educational with various animal talks, fun stuff for the kids, birds display, picnic areas or restaurant, knowledgeable and friendly keepers, a fantastic dinosaur park and if you're into Speedway, there's also a Speedway museum. The zoo is accessible for all, buggies, wheelchairs and those with walking aids, you can get up so close to the animals you feel you can touch them. Personally, I love the place.

We randomly decided to give this wildlife park a go having visited all of the zoos in the Kent area where we live. We were not disappointed and it is definitely one of the best zoos around, it’s really well laid out and the enclosures are well designed to be able to see the animals. The lion enclosure is by far the best I’ve ever seen and the floor to ceiling windows are great for amazing pics. The new tiger enclosure is currently being built but from what I could see it looks great, my only gripe is that whilst in the cafe some of the contractors working on the new tiger enclosure we’re eating in there too and one particular worker was f’ing and blinding whilst there were families with young children around and he was easily heard as he was pretty loud. I appreciate he isn’t staff as such but the contractors should still be adhering to respectful conduct on the premises. Apart from that minor gripe I loved this place and we will definitely be back again!

The biggest compliment I can give is that Paradise Wildlife Park feels NOTHING like a stereotypical zoo! It truly feels like a wildlife park, the range of animals is terrific (The only real exception being Giraffes, Elephants, Hippos etc the really really big animals)

The talk and feeds are fascinating to watch and listen too and happen regularly throughout the day. There's mini golf which we didn't actually try but it looked fun & also the dinosaur park was great too with noises and animation!!

I would definitely recommend visiting, especially if you have young children but really there's something for everyone here and i'll definitely be returning!

. The kids had a ball..
Loved the dinosaur park with the noises and animations.
And the live animals didn't disappoint
A beautiful sunny January day we virtually had the place to ourselves...
If we lived near by we would be there once a month...

Came here as a last minute stop gap to kill time with my Grandson. So glad we did! Such a great place! The dinosaur park was amazing! With animatronic models some that spit water! It was raining and cold when we called which was a shame as most of the food shacks were closed. There are a large number of animals there. We saw a delightful meerkat standing upright under an electric garden heater!! He was so funny!!! The star of the day for us was the white Lion!!! There are 4 lions in total, 3 females and one male. When we arrived the females were all inside lying down but the male was walking around out in the run, suddenly he let out this enormous roar!!! Never having heard a lion roar not on tv we were shocked at the power!!! He carried on roaring for a few minutes!!! It was absolutely spectacular!!!
There was so much to see and do there, loads of animals we missed, playgrounds and soft play areas that we didnt get time to see!
We will return in the warmer weather and spend a whole day there to get the full experience. But were so glad we went even for a short time just to see the lions.

The Cafe Safari Diner service is so slow. Need a better system. Only wanted a hot drink! Get more proactive staff that can manage the queues.

Viewing animals is good.

A Treat for the little ones during Half Term. They loved the experience especially the dinosaur trail. We also went round on the little train which was great. Apart from the animals there were lots of play areas. There was face painting and you could buy some food and were able to feed some of the animals.

You could also have your picture taken which was a nice momento of the day.

There are plenty of well organised parking facilities and the staff are very helpful.

Definitely worth a return visit.

I've reviewed Paradise Park before and it's still a great day out in a place that uses a lot of your entry fee to do some good for conservation. I won't drop a star, as I'm really reviewing the Wolf Experience but they really need to sort out the main canteen, half hour wait is unacceptable!
Anyway, I was lucky enough to get the Wolf Experience day for Xmas and it was amazing! Pia, their main keeper, was kind, knowledgeable and helpful and full of interesting info. My wife and mother in law have also done experience days here and they have all been well onganised and special
Thanks for a great day out!

Was very unfortunate to sustain a puncture from a pothole in the road about 100 yards west of paradise wildlife park, so pulled into the entrance to get off the busy road. We were very lucky to be found by the owner of the park (7:15 at night, long after closing time), who advised us where to park the car for safe storage and then she drove us into Broxbourne. So very grateful, thank you and I will definitely visit “properly” sometime soon.

Lovely place to visit - just a bit noisy for us old un's as we picked a day when lots of local schools were there also but apart from that thought it was very enjoyable with plenty of knowable staff around to answer any questions about the animals or the park in general. Unfortunately the weather turned on us but all in all had a great time and will definitely be returning for another visit this summer.

Came here for our daughters 3rd birthday, really enjoyed it! Dinosaurs are much bigger than we expected. Was a bit surprised that we had to pay extra (£2 per adult) to ride the dinosaur train- I think this should be included in the entry price. Animals all looked well looked after and enclosures clean and it was great having softplay there too. Would recommend for a day out with kids!

Really enjoyed going round seeing and feeding the animals. Loved the different talks about all the animals they had, the highlight was Tom who did the bird show and really bought the experience to life!

We have just got back from there today we did the tiger feed in the morning and the lion feed in the afternoon. Was such a great day James (and I’m so sorry can’t remember the girls name that did the lion feed) were both amazing and so informative. The park was spotless and all the animals looked well cared for and happy. We will be back

Compact entertainment area. Your fee gets you access to most things.

The dinosaur walk was nice. The dinosaurs move and make noise. Designed for younger children. My three year old loved it. Lasts about 30 mins.

We then rode the train. £2 for a 5 minute ride through the dinosaurs and with a view of the wolves and the deer. Kid loved it.

The zoo part was decent enough. Quite a few animals were not visible. I don't know if the animals were present but not visible or just absent. For example in the snake room we only saw two snakes. In the rainforest section we saw very few animals.

The talks were good. Well worth attending though my youngster wasn't overly keen.

Plenty of little things to do like a fire engine or a soft play.

The new lion area was impressive and the tigers will have a new habitat soon.

Food and drink is the usual price (ie over priced) but you can take your own.

It's not London Zoo, but it's a good day out. Look out for vouchers to reduce fee. I think the pricing for young children is a bit unimpressive, and the group discount is minimal. There is an option to pay for a yearly membership but it will only become financially beneficial if you intend to attend 3 or 4 times a year.

In terms of those with mobility issues; everywhere is largely flat and clear. Plenty of casual seating. Viewing platforms are only available by steps (at the moment).

Staff friendly and well informed.

A good day out.

Paradise is a brilliant zoo, the entrance price is very good for what you are getting and when you think that they have to pay to feed and house the animals and the staff, it works out well. It has a great section of different animals, all were in very good sized and clean enclosures, with lots of enrichment for them. The keepers are some of the best we have seen at zoos, all very knowledgeable and helpful. It is good to see that they are going around the zoos and re-building or redoing the animal enclosures, the new white lion enclosure is amazing for the lions and the public. It is also a great zoo for taking photos of the animals. The restaurant has a very good menu and good prices for what you get. The animal experiences they do are very good and well-priced, we have been able to feed or go in with most of the animals there over the last few years, which has made some unforgettable memorials. From hand feeding Rocky and their female African leopard (When they had one), to going in with the meerkats, Red ruffed lemurs, Tapirs and more. We have been luckily enough to go to 44 zoos around the UK and we think paradise is one of the best. We would highly recommended paying Paradise Wildlife park a visit.

Would definitely recommend for dinosaur lovers. The dinosaurs are enormous. They are animatronic. You get walk around the section without being rushed. The dinosaur bit is one one side and the zoo is on the other. Considering both the attractions I think it value for money. Oh and they also have soft play in the first shop/cafe as you walk in. They have an amazing playground out door for the kids. That was second visit and I’m sure I will be going again at least once this year. My soon to be 3year old loves dinosaurs.
Oh on our second visit the lions weren’t out but I wasn’t fussed. Also the outdoor food vendors weren’t there as it was November and it’s cold. But we had a quick meal inside the other food shop

I bought my Husband the champagne breakfast with the big cats experience for his 50th birthday and was really impressed. We were treated like VIPs for the whole experience, it lasted a good amount of time & we could then enjoy the park for the rest of the day. The breakfast was extensive and we weren't rushed. The keeper who took us around the big cat section was knowledgeable and friendly, and hand feeding the snow leopards was a great experience that you can't get at most other places. We were so impressed with the day that we have since booked a stay at the big cat sanctuary in Kent, which Paradise is affiliated with. This is well worth the money and we're sure to take part in other animal experiences here in future.
