The park itself was nice. The biggest cats were hiding away so we did not see much of those.
We were extremely disappointed with the food providers especially Safari Sam's Diner. Would not recommend eating there! Our Monday lunch was awful, including the service, restaurant and toilet cleanliness. On Monday(not even a weekend or bank holiday) they did not have meals that we chose to have(jacket potato and certain sandwiches). After standing in the queue for at least 15mins we had to decide promptly at the counter what to have and the staff looked unhappy that we were deciding on what to have instead of unavailable items. The serving lady was ignorant and she was talking to her colleagues in a very loud manner in front of all customers(everyone was listening!). We were too confused to see if she was actually talking to us or others...The prices are very high and if you purchase chips or salad- you have to pay for mayonnaise and ketchup separately. We asked for extra milk for a tea and we were asked to pay for it, too! The food was poor quality. We are bringing the picnic next time and joyfully avoiding that place!

Had a great time with my family (wife and two kids, 18months and 3 years) as well as friends (four adults and four kids, from under 1 to 4) even though the weather was not quite what we had hoped for! Plenty of interesting sights, sounds and things to play on/with for the kids and also good facilities for the adults to relax and enjoy the place as well. Would visit again for sure, especially if we can take advantage of advance purchase tickets, cheaper and faster access in the morning. We took food and bought drinks, worked well but there also seemed a few ok places to eat and not completely over the top prices.

Been going here since it started when my children were you young, then with grandchildren, and now with friends. Each time I have a full day of entertainment used to take picnics but this time we ate in tiger tree top cafe. Lovely meal while watching the tigers. The young lady serving us, Karen, kept us amused with stories about the park, and to,d us many stories of the Tigers what a lovely lady, so polite and entertaining. Those bits of information were so interesting and actually made our visit so much more enjoyable. There is much there for children, you will have a job to get them home. Thought I might be a bit bored with no children this time- but not so. It still warrants a FULL day there

We had a wonderful day at the park on 19th June, a great variety of animals, all very clean and well cared for. So much for children to do and see, glad to see the train is still running. Used to take my Daughter here when she was small, I was so impressed with all the wonderful improvements at the zoo since the 70s when it was so small, well done for all the hard work that has made such a difference.
We had lunch at the Tiger treetops restaurant overlooking the tigers, amazing view of them. The service in there was first class, a lady called Karen served us, such a friendly person, nothing was too much trouble for her and she took time to tell us all about the tigers too. We shall definitely return for another visit and great day out. Thank you x

Had a fantastic day here and thought it was great!
A little bit tacky maybe, but great for the kids - lots to see and do. Playground is fab for the little ones.
I did feel a bit sorry for the animals, all being in quite small enclosures. Particularly the lions and tigers. Its certainly a lot less animal wellbeing focused than London Zoo ZSL. This place is definitely just a money making enterprise.

The weekend bus driver from Broxbourne station was really friendly and helpful. Couldn't have been nicer.

There's plenty to do here. Took our Grandson and his friend for a treat and they absolutely loved it. Out of all the animals they saw, the big cats were the favourites. They also loved the play areas - especially the Formula 1 cars and the Pirate Ship. One criticism would be the over crowded restaurant. Maybe they should find room for an additional restaurant to sell hot food? Also the food very limited. Lots of chips with everything. More pasta dishes would go down well but that's only a minor point. We could have brought a picnic. Found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

Great place to visit, (19. 06.15) the animals are well looked after, the staff are very knowledgeable, thanks to the 2 guys, the one that looked after the white lions and the other the guinea pigs, good chatting to you both. The gibbons will keep you entertain for ages.
Beautiful gardens and picnic areas, plenty of places around to eat and drink.

I've been here several times, and it seems to improve every time I visit. This time, I came on a photogy experience afternoon with the lovely Maggie and Tony. The great thing about this is that you're able to go in with some of the animals (under the strict supervision of the keepers of course), so are able to get much better photos. It was lovely being in with the ring-tailed lemurs and wallabies, and being able to photograph some of the reptiles at close quarters. But the main event was being able to get close to Baikal the beautiful white tiger. Being inches away from him, just the other side of the fence was absolutely thrilling, and you can't help but fall in love with him.

I spent all day here, and they have great photographic opportunities with the Amur Tigers, Cheetah and White Lions anyway because fo the high walkways they have. I really enjoy going to this place and just wish I lived closer!

The keepers here are all very friendly and helpful. There was a wonderful Big Cat talk by big cat keeper Tony - very interesting and informative, and even though I've been to a few talks I still learnt something new. You can tell how much the keepers love their animals.

Great website by the way - the videos in the Animals > Big Cat Territory are well worth looking at - some of them are hilarious!

Although I particulaarly love the big cats, of which they have a great selection, they also have some wonderful small mammals too. The red pandas are always a joy, especially the cubs. The short-clawed Asian otters are so cute. One of them was showing his or her dexterity, playing with a stone, and it was hilarious and mesmerising at the same time. Wonderful place, and I can highly recommend it.

My other half and I went here spontaneously - it was a really good fun day. Entry was reasonably priced, good inside was of course expectably overpriced but overall a good few hours and the bird show is a must see!

I was treated to the big cat breakfast experience by a friend and can truly say I had a fantastic day out. We arrived at the park before opening time, however where we had to meet was not directly clear however was easy resolved by following other visitors. We began our day in the discovery center where we met the other people in our group and was greeted with a hot/cold drink. We was next introduced to our guide who was fantastic and knew the big cats and history of the park very well. After walking around to each enclosure and hearing about the cats we finished our tour at the treetop cafe to have our breakfast. The breakfast was a self service continental breakfast and was okay with enough to eat for all in the party but think could have been better if some hot food had been offered such as in a full English breakfast. After the tour the park becomes open to the general public and we was allowed to stay for as long as we wanted and see other animals in the park. We stayed all day and enjoyed the exhibits very much and felt that we were able to get close to an array of different animals. The highlight of the tour for us was the white lion pride and white tiger but also found ourselves spending a lot of time watching the small monkeys and the gibbons. We loved the birds but was not overly impressed with the cages as they look small. The bird display show was enjoyable and we got to see a selection of the parks birds in flight. We went as an adult only group but the park looked well equipped for family's with many play zones and a water area. A truly memorable day...

I was bought the Tiger feeding experience as a present and in truth, my expectations were pretty low; imagining I'd be throwing something off the back of a truck as we drove by... but oh no! We were allowed to hand-feed a Tiger, a Lion and a Cheetah! OK, it was through the metal fencing but to be so close to such amazing wild animals was awesome. Our guide, Sally, was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. They also have special photography tours, and you can stay overnight and experience the more nocturnal cats too. This place MUST be on your list if you like big cats. Would definitely recommend!

My Sister and I did the 'Shadow a Big Cat Keeper' experience.
This was absolutely fantastic, and Cassie that was our keeper for the day was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all the big cats.
The best part of the day was hand feeding the big cats – truly amazing

Had a wonderful afternoon at PWP this Sunday. I've given it 5/5 as I enjoyed myself so much, however 4/5 Stars is a fairer reflection, mainly because the food selection and quality isn't great and, at £14 for a child ticket, it would've been a little pricey without our voucher.

The Park is really well laid out and there is so so much to do, we only did the zoo animal parts and still idled away 3.5 hours comfortably. The zoo enclosures are generally of a good size (so you don't feel bad for the animals) and nicely varied. What really stood out was the variety of viewing platforms and raised 'walks' from which the see the animals from all manner of angles - makes it more fun for kids and miles better for spotting occasionally reluctant animals.

There are a huge number of activities for kids (playgrounds, mini-buggy racing, sand pits, petting zoo, wildlife walk) which we didn't get to do but you could easily kill 5-8 hours in the pace - if you've the energy!

Will definitely be coming back next time my god daughter comes to visit.

Added note: ample parking and, whilst busy, the Park never felt crowded and we never had to contest for viewing space.

My partner and I love zoos so went just as a couple to this one and really enjoyed it. We mainly enjoyed it because they have white lions, a snow leopard and a white tiger which are all rarely seen in zoos in this country. There are so many attractions for kids and an adventure golf course which is always a laugh. The bird show was brilliant and the staff all stemmed very nice. A lovely visit but next time we'll be visiting with our young nephews, not as a couple as we felt out of place!

I have been making seasonal visits with my family for the last 4/5 years. We have always enjoyed a day at Paradise, but in my latest visit (6th June) I was disappointed with the standard the outdoor shows, the outdoor stage only has scheduled shows every hour! Which is ok if the shows were longer than 3 minutes! But waiting 20 mins for a 3 minute show is very disappointing! This wasn't the case when I visited last year, in fact I was rather impressed with the level of entertainment then. I hope you can understand where I'm coming from. The indoor shows was great!

Excellent small wide life park. You can really see the animals up close which children really love. The food here is not good at all so bring a picnic.

I have an annual pass, as a childminder I often take the children in my care here for the day. Once inside you have lots to do, soft play see the animals or play on the adventure playground, if its sunny a dip in the paddling pool is also fun. It is kept very clean and always lots of staff around the park. A great day out.

Had a really good day here, it's so geared up for the kiddies. So much for them to do other than just see the animals, it has a park area, slides, bouncy castle and tractor ride.

I think it's very reasonable priced for all what's included. The foods quite expensive but that's to be expected in places like this.

However there are picnic benches so you can sit down and eat the food you have taken with you.

Animals look well looked after and there's plenty to see.

Overall very nice family day out, would go back happily.

Myself and my children have been going here for 13 years + and it's has really improved over time the price has doubled over the past few years and it does seem that making money is much more important now eg the price of an icecream is £2.60! And for a bag for animal food with about 1 carrot chopped up is a £1 however the restaurant is a good quality of food and not too bad prices £6.95 burger and chips .Animals - they don't have very big cages eg 4 adult lions in one small enclosureand the sheep were in desparate need of sheering ,the rest is the same as it has been for 10+years the main chance is the prison type fence sytem which isnt nice.for smaller kids there is the free bouncy castle ect and the park and the pool but it get super packed on a nice day. To make the day better value get vouchers on internet and take a picnic with snack otherwise it can work out to be a pretty expensive day.

I drink around 5 cups of tea a day so I have a lot of tea drinking experiences to take from but today, sitting in the Tiger Treetops Cafe with three tigers wandering around below me was an awesome experience. The visit to the park was worth it for that alone,
