This is a lovely place to visit. It's so vast you can spend a lot of time walking to see the memorials, wildlife, trees and plants. There's a river as well as a cafe to warm you up at the end of your walk.

Well worth a visit even on a rainy day! Been meaning to go for years and finally made it! What a wonderful tribute to all the forces and indeed civilians who served and gave their lives in all conflicts
Found the burma/singapore exhibition especially moving and although horrific to think of all the suffering we should never forget
We will definitely go again in spring and summer as the grounds will really come to life then and trees, bulbs and shrubs can be seen in their full glory
The memorials and grounds are immaculate and full credit to staff and volunteers

Well set out site with good accessibility for scooters and wheelchairs, as very good lanes running throughout. There is a land train taking about 45 minutes to complete site. Or you may of course walk. It's free admission, and cheap car parkjng. Land train is a small charge. National memorials from many places in Britain and Commonwealth as well. Interesting extra features, ie beautiful sculpture of group of children representing wartime evacuees. Thoughtful planting of shrubs and trees, ie red leaves on one group to represent Canada's sacrifice. Plenty of car parking and superb building with gift shop, cafe, reception desk, toilets, even a cash machine. Thoughtful and helpful staff. Well recommended.

A brilliant place for quiet reflection. It's good that there's not just military memorials, everyone can find their own corner to remember.

Brilliant place to visit, very moving. Great friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had a Christmas meal as part of an organised trip. Not too sure on value for money but it was beautifully cooked and there was a good atmosphere. The band was a little on the loud side to allow easy conversation but they were good fun.
