A very eerie and at times, emotional place for some, it is amazingly well presented with beautiful memorials that pay fitting homage to those they represent. The visitor centre continues this theme. Guided tours are not necessary but are very interesting and can help to give perspective to those with less knowledge.

The volunteers are so friendly and helpful, it's always a pleasure to visit here. The memorials have spread out across the site and are being added to all the time. We'll be happy to return in the future.

well on the edge of Tamworth well worth a day trip. so many memorials for so many people and so take a picnic or eat in the cafe. the place at the far end where the posts are is haunting...to think we shot boys and men for shell shock....very sad. but please celebrate the many who gave everything, visit the wall.peace all.

We paid for the 'buggy' tour and would definitely recommend it as a great introduction to the site. Ian, our volunteer driver, was very knowledgeable. And all the money (plus gift-aid) goes to the charity.

Worth visiting (and FREE) for a day out. Memorials are very well done, as is the maintenance and care of them.

Amazing 150 acre site. Very disabled friendly. Would recommend to all. Allow a full day. Free admission, but well worth a generous donation when you leave.

Stunning place, beautifully presented and very peaceful. We had the option to go during the week when it was quiet and it was such a touching tribute to all the men and women who had died in service.

An interesting fact we discovered was that it's not just service men and women who died in combat, but also those who died in accidents whilst serving.

We were particularly touched by the Shot at Dawn memorial and the accompanying talk. It was very informative and really brought home the cruelty of war and some of our own policies that were in place during WW1.

The Far East Prisoners of War memorial and talk were also very much worth a visit and all in all we could recommend this more highly.

We will certainly be visiting again in a few years time, as the trees mature further and additional monuments had been erected. We will probably choose to go on the autumn as the leaves will be turning, and it should give a different perspective and feel to the visit.
