We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The whole place is peaceful and thought provoking. The gentleman guide who explained and showed us the main memorial was so informative. The whole experience will stay with us forever.

What a lovely day we have had at the national memorial arboretum a quite calm atmosphere despite their being lots of children around, which I found very nice it's a very informative place I found my dads name on a wall commemorating Japanese prisoners of war and found this very moving would definitely like to visit again.

Wow, just wow... We barely managed to see half of what was on display due to the kids getting grouchy but the tributes we did were wonderful... You can really feel a sense of patriotism as you explore... And the memorials aren't just to the obvious servicemen but also to the less thought about, such as the members of the Royal Mail

Brilliant experience, well thought out from beginning to end, a must for anyone to see (and support as it's self funding)

Lovely memorial gardens and landscaped lawns for all ages to reflect and remember the fallen soldiers. The kids enjoyed the Stick man Nature Trail exploring the park playgrounds and woodlands during their half-term holidays. Prebook a mini-train to view the gardens. Cafeteria stocks a good range of hot and cold drinks and snacks although a little pricey for value. Clean seating areas and friendly staff are on hand. Well organised disabled facilities and toilets are easy to access. Generally a good place for afternoon walks and plenty of quiet spots in between to pause for thought.
