First time visiting and was really impressed. Huge site with loads to explore. Thought the kids might be bored but actually this is a great child and dog friendly place to visit. Plenty of wheelchair / buggy / walker friendly paths. We didn't have anything to eat or drink at the café but it looked clean and tidy. Staff were friendly too. Would recommend 👍🏻

Bit of a nightmare to get to (roadworks- end August 2023). Well worth the visit though. Oodles to see, but beware, plenty of walking. Still, disabled people are well catered for. Very respectfully laid out. Give yourself 1/2 day at least. Restaurant ok+ the obligitory gift shop. Will try to visit again sometime.

Beautiful place to go to pay respect for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Shame that dog owner's don't show the same respect and keep their dogs out of here.

Large arboretum with lots of stone regimental insignia. Historically interesting, especially if you have family connections to the forces. It also has all the names of personnel killed after the second World War carved into stone. Personally I found it quite moving. Well laid out with a guided tour train. Highly recommended.

Picnic area: Has a small café and shop.

A wonderful park to learn, reflect and relax. 400 regimental memorial, all with a story to tell. A beautiful mai Raines tribute to those who served. Some impressive works of art included and the volunteers are wonderfully engaging and knowledgeable. Heart warming to see so many many parents bringing kids to understand sacrifices made

An absolute gem of an attraction. I had no idea how big this site was and how many monuments there were. The staff are very informative and keen to tell you about the monuments. If I could ask for more, it would be that there should be a guide to the monuments

A lovely tribute to all that have served, the grounds are well maintained by volunteers. A friendly cafe, which allows dogs to sit with you, a well equipped gift shop which is reasonably priced.. As my husband and myself are veterans we were honoured to see our cap badges represented there. A Quiet, peaceful place to reflect. Thank you all which has made this place possible.

The only cost is £6 to park in the very well organised car park. A beautiful place with so many stunning memorial pieces to see. A vast area, but there is a land train tour for those less physically able. So well presented, so peaceful..........so moving. There are plenty of helpful guides around if you would like more background information.
We had lunch in the restaurant......2 very nice good quality sandwiches, hot chips, 2 cakes and 2 hot drinks for just over £19, which we didn't feel was unreasonable. There is also a coffee shop.
The gift shop was a little pricy. I would've purchased some postcards, but I didn't feel the photographs on them truly reflected the beauty of the place.....the photos I took with my phone were much nicer.
Our visit lasted 2.5 hours, however you could spend no end of time walking, looking, reading and reflecting. A lovely place to spend time.
