We didn't manage to do all of it. Very emotional day. Bigger than we thought so if you struggle walking it's worth pre booking & getting the train around fir a small cost.

Very outstanding peaceful and tranquil place which dedicates those and pays there respect to those who served in conflicts and wars around the world. There are various memorials dedicated to each of the regiments within the British Army and also the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force. There are also memorials dedicated to the Fire Service, Miners and also the Police Service. The memorial which stands out the most is the Armed Forces memorial as it looks spectacular on the landscape and delivers a deserving dedication to those who have served for their country and lists all the people who have sadly lost their lives in all of the conflicts whilst serving the UK around the world in the wars. On some of the memorials there is an informative synopsis of the particular conflict occurred, which gives an idea of the magnitude of that war generally and those who fought in it. Another aspect that makes the site spectacular is that the trees blend in beautifully with the memorials making the scenery more serene and picturesque. The site is vast and will take a few hours to get around but there are some spectacular memorials to look at and also some spectacularly picturesque views of the River Trent to enjoy. Visitors can enjoy the land train which takes you around the whole site where there is a guide giving you information about the memorials on view.There's is also an exhibition detailing the site which is interesting and enjoyable to look at. There is a restaurant on site offering food at good and reasonable and also a gift shop with gifts at reasonable prices. Overall this is an excellent tranquil and peaceful place to visit.

We had a lovely sunny Autumn day at the National Arboretum. Excellent meal in the restaurant before walking around this stunning place. Can't recommend it enough.

An amazing place and fitting memorials to all of the Armed Forces.. the shot at Dawn memorial moved me to tears it was so moving and thought-provoking. A place of quiet reflection in beautifully designed and maintained grounds. All staff professional and helpful. Well worth a visit.

First time visiting the NMA via the RTTW absolutely stunning . No litter over 150 plus memorials, wear comfy footwear. A very calming place to visit.

I was totally overwhelmed by the place, a very powerful, emotional experience. There are many monuments dedicated to our armed forces, but the wall itself with all the names of our fallen servicemen and women is something else. Literally breathtaking and powerful. The whole place is peaceful to have a lovely walk around, a great place for calmness and to reflect.

I went as part of a wellbeing walk with people from my office. Didn't quite know what to fully expect. It was much larger that I thought. All staff and volunteers extremely helpful and friendly. We pre booked parking which offered a slight reduction. Will definitely visit again and take more time.

Went here and didn't realise just how large an area they had. I have mobility issues so getting around it would have been an issue but you can hire mobility scooter and also get the landtrain which was ideal plus told you a little bit of information about each momentum. Only down fall is that you don't stop to see each one or get close enough but apart from that thplave is lovely.
