Lovely well maintained site. Some uniquely designed memorials. There are many of them, some are tucked away in woodland glades.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good café.

So pleased we were able to visit The National Arboretum recently. Well worth a visit. You will need the day there. So much to see. You can hire mobility scooters and wheel chairs as well as take your own. We took a guided tour first and then went off on our own. Had a nice lunch in the cafe too.

I've attended the National Memorial Arboretum RTTW for many years to pay my respect to our fallen comrades.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Fantastic setting, beautiful trees and lovely clean well kept area. Peaceful, relaxing place to reflect. Highly recommend for all, whether elderly or disabled as the area is flat and accessible.

This site has almost too many memorials to take in in one visit, with memorials within memorials all over the fields and woods of its many acres. It's well worth taking the land train to get oriented, and then finishing with the armed forces memorial centrepiece. Don't be surprised if you need a second visit.
