Even with the temperature close to 30° what a lovely place. The landscaping so well thought out, stunning statues & structures.
The consideration, detail, respecting & remembering of all types of service personnel so humbling.
Certainly a day to remember.

What a really special place. Well worth a visit. I would certainly go again. I would recommend it to everyone. The staff and volunteers were so helpful and friendly. If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would.

A memorable visit. The land train was an excellent way to see the site and pick out areas to walk back to after. We ate in the restaurant where the food was well presented and good quality. On our arrival the gentleman directing you into the car space was quite rude and was commented on by a number of people. Thankfully this ' not so welcome customer service' was not perpetuated anywhere else during our visit.

I have been going to the National Memorial Arboretum since it was opened, this is a fantastic place to visit especially when the Children are off School it's full of Memorials not just for the armed forces it's for everyone who gave their lives for the Country in war or peace such as the Police Force, Fire Fighter's, Medical People and Animals horses, pigeons they deserve to be honoured because they had no choice along with others like coalminers, railway workers, munition workers mainly women along with many others merchant navy, Air raid wordens, home guards you see the list could go on and on. You could now spend a whole day walking or on the land train, it can be very thought provoking and upsetting if you look closely the Arboretum is there for a reason Remembrance. You can have a guided tour or they have got mobility scooters to hire, a very good food hall and gift shop.

INCREDIBLE!!!! Loved visiting with my WI. We booked a 2 course lunch, which was held in a separate room to the self-service restaurant. The food was delicious and service was fantastic.
I had three favourite areas -
The SOS memorial garden as this are has been created by volunteers, beautiful!
The Tank regiment memorial purely because my father was in the 4RTR Tank Regiment, so it bought back all my childhood memories.
The Shot at Dawn area was incredible, we had one of the guides take us there, he told us some incredible facts.
The National Memorial Arboretum left me with some lasting memories and emotions. Amazing!
"I'll be back" 😊

An amazing place, one that everyone should visit at least once in their lives. The thought behind each memorial is mind blowing. We all came away having been touched by this amazing place.

We visited on Sunday 7th August, 2022, having not been due to circumstances for a number of years. Truly amazed how much it has developed, all for the better. The welcoming on our arrival and explanations as to what was available were very good. We took the "early" land train and our driver and Guide, Elaine, was also very welcoming as was her gentleman aide at the "station". Elaine really brought the site to life and were surprised to learn at the conclusion that she had only been in this role for 12 weeks. Very well done lass a real credit.
Thank you also to all the staff at the Arboretum who were so helpful and patient.

If you are in the area, and have an interest in the history of our country, I would recommend a visit to the national memorial arboretum in Staffordshire. Just make sure you are wearing suitable shoes for a walk. Large car parks, coffee shop, restaurant with the usual facilities. There are land trains which are well signposted and take a ride through the grounds allowing the opportunity to see the memorials belonging to so many organisations that I can not list them. Information boards are very informative and there are staff members who are happy to help with any questions. An amazing time had by all. We will not forget them.
