What a great day. The main purpose of our visit was to try to find a tree in the Golden Grove that my parents had had planted in 2006 to mark their golden wedding anniversary, together with the plaque on it. Thanks to Ken our lovely buggy driver and tour guide and his extensive knowledge, my dad (aged 90) was able to see the tree once again. It really did make his day and cheered him up immensely.
THANK YOU KEN ❤

Absolutely breathtaking. The attention to detail of this place cannot be described. Highly recommended and definitely will be back to see more. Impossible to get round in a day. Cafe cake was lush. Help at the RBL desk superb. All staff friendly and helpful. If you are walking from Alrewas, go from bridge 48. It's a proper path all the way , although the 10 min walk section alongside the A38 was a bit scary.

Absolutely brilliant. A very moving experience. The land train guided tour is well worth taking as it shows you most of the memorials and let's you get your bearings. This allows you to walk back to any at which you want to spend more time. Try to listen to the guide at the main memorial. They are very knowledgeable and explain all the different elements.
Parking is £4 for the day and entrance is free although you are able to make a donation if you wish. Excellent, well priced, cafe serving a variety of main dishes as well as sandwiches and cakes.

A truly amazing and thought provoking place to visit.
The land train is a good way to see most of the Arboretum, when only having a couple of hours there, with a useful commentary.
It would a day to see all on foot.

Fantastic place with very friendly staff.
Now has children play areas which is a great idea if you have small ones with you.
Very well maintained spaces with a calm atmosphere .
I did receive sum tuts when I informed the car park attendant that I hadn’t booked my parking. Didn’t really understand this as you can pay at machines or reception.
