Helpful staff and impressive and respectful siting of monuments to military and civil forces and arenas of war. A road train for small cost can take visitors around the huge site. There is a well stocked gift shop and restaurant.
Though close to Lichfield please note there is no bus route direct from Lichfield.

We visited for the first time and we were humbled and also amazed to see the thoughtfulness and imagination to represent all areas. It is very tastefully done. We did both the land train tour and also the buggy tour. We much preferred the buggy tour. Geoff and trainee Sam were very informative and if you do visit and do a buggy tour see if Geoff is available!!
We will be definitely be visiting again in the near future as you won’t see everything in one visit.

What a brilliant day, my wife and I had the guided tour with golf cart transportation and lunch. Pete, ably supported by Ian, were fantastic, both mines of information and all done with a little humour and respect. This is a must do day-out. The place itself is superbly managed.

I visited with a coach group at the beginning of the month. On arrival we were greeted and welcomed by a staff member and were given tea, coffee and biscuits.

After a couple of hours we had a 2 course lunch served in a private room - table service, food was lovely and the staff so so helpful and accommodating.

We then had a train ride around the site - with excellent commentary and jovial laughter with the drivers.

An excellent day out was had by all. Nothing was too much trouble and we left wanting to book our return journey. Thank you so so much!

Oh my goodness, this place is amazing. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to see it all so I will return later at some point. I am impressed at how all areas of the armed forces are remembered. The 'Shot At Dawn" area is heart breaking 😪

Today I visited the Arberetum, I came a few years back and came back as it was Armed Forces Weekend, thankfully I was not put off by some of the comments. We arrived and were greated by very pleasant staff on the car park. We went inside and spoke to a couple same very pleasant staff.

We had a wander and we came back to the foyer area my partner went to see if the was an order of day re events etc. I nipped to the disabled toilet I got off my mobility scooter to go to door and all of a sudden started to fall. I felt me knee pain instantly but could move it. Sadly I had wet myself a bit. Two men arrived and asked was I OK, I explained what I thought has happened. The older of the two took immediate control explaining what we we going to do. It is made more difficult as I had a Stroke so I am left with weakness albeit 17 yrs ago. Eventually, we found a solution.

I would like to thank everyone who helped get me up and there were many, special thanks to the car team for the dignity I got.

I'm sure my knee will recover in a few days.

Once again please thank all Staff concerned.

Kind regards

Susan Lyons From Preston.
