Beautiful place, my little one loved running around. It felt so safe and secure. The staff are amazing we learnt all about the goose sculpture and my little one got a little image of the goose sculpture from one of the volunteers, beautiful day even in the rain

So special. Want to go back again and find out more. We visited for personal reasons however I'd like to see more of the gardens. So lucky to be able to have this for our loved and lost ones. Thank you Nationa Memorial Arboretum.

Playground: Two wonderfully designed playgrounds, one at the front of the arboretum not far from the facilities with swings, slide, tunnels and another further on which was a wooden trim trail. We found this playground by following the Stickman Trail. Both playgrounds have seating.

Restrooms: Ladies restrooms in the main building visited. Very clean, well attended restrooms with plenty of cubicles, wash basins and dryers. Clear signposting.

Picnic area: Plenty of areas to sit, at memorials, at playgrounds and and beautiful points within the grounds.

Barbecue: No BBQ point, as far as I'm aware!

Fantastic day out, around 400 memorials in total, loads to see and do, take the land train around 80% of the grounds and a golf buggy to the other 20% or if your feeling feet you can walk round the whole site, a very nice cafe, coffee shop and gift shop, free entry and a £4 fee for parking, well worth a visit and highly recommended.

A great place to either wander through the beautiful trees and very well maintained grounds or sit and quietly remember the sad loss of the people that all the amazing memorials honour.
You are welcomed into the visitor centre and grounds by very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, there is also a nice, reasonably priced cafe and small coffee shop. A must visit location.

Looked up what we wanted to see, wasn’t explained that it wasn’t an avenue just a tree so disappointingly didn’t find the tree just the generalarea. No proper map or signposts. As the site has evolved it very higgledy piggledy and therefore makes things even harder to find. One member of staff was helpful but to be greeted by someone eating cake doesn’t give a great first impression and doesn’t encourage you to ask any more questions. It is a nice area but the initial stress made it difficult to appreciate the whole experience. More detailed information nest time please.

Lovely day out here today.
It's incredible to see how many memorials there are honouring selfless individuals - very humbling.
Staff and volunteers are helpful and really friendly. Amenities are good. The grounds are kept well tended and it's good to see areas left for nature to thrive.

Absolutely amazing place.
The sense of peace and respect to all was clearly felt.
The grounds are beautiful and the monuments are amazing.
The Armed forces memorial in the centre was so poignant and thought provoking.
The Far East section had an amazing museum, which whilst harrowing at times to read and see the pictures, it was truly an experience needed to understand the horrors of war.
Plenty of volunteers around d to answer any queries you may have.
Well worth a visit.

Very humbling, a haunting reminder of the ultimate sacrifice. A place of remembrance in order to pay respects to thousands upon thousands of brave men and women. A day out for everyone of all ages, dogs welcome, over 400 memorials, gift shop, cafe. All staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful. I can't thank the staff enough nothing is to much trouble for any of them. In short get yourself down there and see for yourself, I'd be very surprised if you didn't enjoy your day out.

This is the second time we've visited and still so much more to see. We listened to the Far East talk which was very informative and will visit again to listen to some of the other talks. It was a lovely sunny day and we were able to wander round at will, plenty of benches to sit and reflect. Although the car park was busy the grounds are so large that it doesn't feel busy at all.
The food in the cafe was excellent, large portions and reasonably priced. We are vegans and there was a choice of 3 meals. We chose baked tata with chilli (huge portion) and burritos. They just need to extend the cake selection as there was only 1 vegan cake and it was a small slice.
We will definitely visit again.

Fantastic day out. Need a full day really. Started with remembrance service in Chapel and a talk. Hired a buggy, driver Douglas fabulous, very knowledgeable and friendly. He drove us round and told us about all that we passed.
Beautiful setting, memorable and emotional. Grounds immaculate, can walk for hours.
A must do place to visit. Superb. 3rd visit and still gets me each time.

Restrooms: Plenty but at main building.
