I will be back as often as I can. My night coincided with 'Steak night' and that was certainly a very good meal. Breakfast on the day I left was outstandingly good. I really appreciated the specific tutorial on how to properly use the coffee machine in the bedroom so that was a nice touch. I found everyone connected to the facility who I spoke with to be friendly, interested and helpful. It would have been nice to have some form of shower gel in the bathroom. There was only a soap cake, conditioner and lotion.

Lovely night away in the George pub in Ashley.
Set in a tranquil, pretty village an ideal get away as surrounding countryside stunning.
The accommodation was in the coach house, a stones throw from pub. It's both characterful and contemporary, nice hot showers all the necessary provisions available. Food good, excellent choice of beers and lagers.
Really nice family run this place, we particularly enjoyed the decked area/ beer garden a pleasant suntrap, definitely f recommend for a visit.

A colleague and I stayed here, our rooms were lovely, the food was really good, the bar staff were friendly and the owners make the place, our taxi went to the incorrect location and the owner - Neil, drove us into our office himself. Superb service. Thank you.

Found this place purely by accident as i was looking to stay in the area for a couple of nights away with work.
What a gem of a find and anyone, for business or pleasure who has to stay in and around the Corby, Market Harborough area I wouldnt hesitate to recomend The George. Not only was the converted stables a wonderful place to stay, Steph and her husband (sorry didn't get his name) couldn't have been more welcoming.
The food......where do I start!! No quick and easy meals for guests here, Steak Night Weds couldn't have picked a better night, proper hand made chips and a piece of steak to die for. Thursday night A la Carte menu with a good selection, my choice was Pork Chop with honey and mustard mash and veg, I didn't think the chef could top the previous night but he did!!
Breakfast equally as good so if you like your food homely cooked you'll love this place.
I have stayed away a lot over my career and stayed in great hotel chains, average hotels and the usual suspects of hotel chains but The George ranks up at the top. Its not just great food, great rooms and great service its the made to feel welcome feeling you want and you certainly get that here and more.....
Thanks again for a great stay Steph and hubby, will see you again.

It's a great place to pop in for a couple of drinks, or stay longer and maybe have a lovely meal. Four of us had a delicious Sunday lunch last weekend, including one who is vegan. Food, drinks, service and ambience were all great!
