The staff are so friendly and helpful couldn’t compliment them enough! Very good!
The room was a bit outdated and needed an upgrade.

Room was nice, clean and cosy. Food was excellent. Disappointed that there was no real ale available. One thing that I did find odd for an establishment such as this was, although obviously clean and fresh, the bed sheets hadn't been ironed !

We visited for Sunday Lunch with family. We were welcomed on arrival by Malcolm who made us feel instantly welcome. He handed us menus and helped with our wine choice - he appeared very knowledgable.
The service throughout our visit was excellent. Sadly the same cannot be said for the food. One or two dishes were good; the Whitebait starter and Tuna main, but other dishes all seemed dry. Namely, dry black pudding starter, dry roast beef, (overdone, with not a hint of pink), and even dry chocolate bread and butter pudding.
I had been so looking forward to my visit. The setting at Albright Hussey is superb and the beautiful dining room a delight, but the whole experience was let down by the standard of cooking.

This place never disappoints. We had a beautiful Sunday dinner on this occasion. Despite the fact that we were the last people there it was delicious and we were made to feel welcome. We got married here and it was the best places we saw. Rooms are well equipped and very clean. Breakfast was delightful but most of all the staff are amazing. Attentive, professional and warm.

Had a really rough day and the tow truck driver found this place for us. The staff could see we had a rough day and despite the restaurant closing in 3 minutes asked if we needed some food. After walking us to our rooms and showing us around, the Gabe nine of us a full spread of sandwiches, cheeses and fruit among other things. My family was thinking me for breaking down. The made a rough day great again. If you can stay here, do it. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are nice, the food is good and the staff is incredible.

Stunning surrounding, we were at a wedding reception. Silver service, being a vegan I had;, starter was melon, main course mushroom Risotto, sweet was choc torte/ brownie. Very nice .
I didn't feel the dance floor was big enough for the amount of people that wanted to be on it. Gorgeous venue though and I would definitely recommend.

We got married here. And there is only one word I could use to describe this place and that's amazing! I can not recommend this place enough nothing is to much for the team, not only did it give me my dream wedding venue but we also come back for meals and they are amazing. The service is brilliant and you get treated like royalty. The hussy team are brilliant ❤

We stayed for 1 night in the business double room in the new part of the hotel. The room was very clean however very old fashioned, we got plenty of teas, coffees etc in the room. We found that the walls was fairly thin so could hear conversations from next door and the corridor was noisy in the morning when majority of people would be up and about for breakfast.

There was a wedding on and despite the busy atmosphere from that, the staff still found time to talk with you, help you and to make you feel the most welcome. We travelled into Shrewsbury town centre in the evening, Malcolm the gentlemen who worked there was extremely helpful in helping us get a taxi, (taxis are very reasonable). Overall if we choose to visit Shrewsbury again, the Albright Hussey Manor will be our first choice for accommodation! 5*

Good food but very sparing on portion sizes and odd vegetable offerings. A hint of gravy and 1 and a half tiny roast potatoes as standard roast dinner plate. Lovely surroundings but food let's it down considerably. Obviously has seen better fare in the past but lacks that inspirational pizzazz of considered attention to detail.
Service is reasonable but then it is a little restaurant with just 10 smaller tables serving up to 30 people at a push. Excellent selection of alcoholic drinks with some absurdly good cognacs, rum, gin and whiskies. You get what you pay for.

Absolutely beautiful place, we had our wedding here and nothing was to much trouble for them. We have been back for our 1st year anniversary for a meal and again nothing was to much. Food was fantastic

Beautiful location for your special occasion. Overlooking the rolling Shropshire countryside with interesting architecture. Landscaped terrace was enchanting. Friendly, intimate venue. Great for weddings and anniversaries.
