Absolutely amazing food!!
I’ve had the steak from here twice now, once in restaurant and also tonight as takeaway. Me and my partner ordered two steaks, one as medium rare and one as rare, both cooked to perfection. Lovely staff, very welcoming. Good quality food but not too pricey.
Would also like to add we came from hedingham and was very impressed the food was still piping hot.

So today I rang up david's ordered me and my children burgers and chips.
Service was fast and super convenient as I didn't even need to get out the car. Once I got home I got stuck into the burger and I have got to say it was one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. So much flavor that transformed a burger into some thing absolutely divine. I 100% recommend u try it. My belly feels full and very happy. Proper top notch quality food.

I have never EVER had a burger as good as the one I have had from here.. the blue cheese burger is on some next level and is HIGHLY recommended. Lovely staff amazing food.. will be back again 100%

We had a take away meal for our wedding anniversary last night.we had a steak with mushrooms in a light sauce.the steak was done exactly how we like it and it was so so tender and the taste was out of this world.David and his staff cannot do enough for us.we must support them all we can during this lockdown because I cannot wait to go back for the full dining experience

So now after having breakfast and dinner from David's, its safe to say we will definitely will be returning!! the veggie lasagne is amazing! The scampi is super tasty and filling. All our food was beautifully cooked, still hot once arriving home with it. Great service. Thank you to you all.

Great family run cafe with a no child policy. Good service and choice of teas, coffees ,snacks and light lunches available. Open Tuesdays to Saturdays at present for takeaways.

Stopped by on a busy market day Thursday, very pleasantly surprised to find a coffee shop with a genuine passion for quality coffee. Being rather extensively travelled person who does like a nice strong coffee I find it hard to get that certain something usually missing in the UK, a full bodied strong yet smooth coffee. The service was first class as were the staff. The owner and namesake David really knows his beans! Hadn't got the chance to as yet sample the food menu however it was clear from hearing other customers comments and remarks that they were enjoying theirs. Would very highly recommend stopping by even to just grab a takeaway coffee rather than buy a bland soulless brew elsewhere in the town.

Should have written this sooner, sorry! My Mum loves David's I had never been there before - Ironically - during eat out to help out - my favourite haunts were all booked up and so our weekly lunch venue had to change - Mum suggested Davids (they didn't sign up to the eat out deal?) - I am so glad she did!
WOW - what a really lovely spot to eat this is - The menu is quite small - but I think there is something to suit everybody's taste - and Oh My - what you get is very good! Been back a couple of times now - the Eggs Benedict is the best! Cheese Scones delicious - Mum loves the smoked salmon and eggs - coffee is great and atmosphere so relaxed - nobody under the age of 13 allowed - Don't be infuriated by this!! There are times when it's nice just for grownups to mingle without interruption xx
