Great venue. Friendly atmosphere. Just wish they had less films on but hey, if it pats it's way who am I to say. Like I say, I always enjoy my visits.

A superb little theatre in the Quay area of Sudbury market town. The theatre has a bar open each evening and a five star (tripadvisor 5* cost bracket 2£) pop-up restaurant, Shillingtons, Thursday though to Saturday which is now so popular it has a waiting list of around five weeks.
The theatre is used for amateur and professional plays, live relay of international opera, ballet and plays from London, New York, sand other international venues, and touring national comedians and singers.

Lovely and welcoming. Used to be my second home but since moving 10 yrs ago, today's visit was very encouraging. The building looks in great shape. Auditorium seats and new carpets all through makes me realise the Quay is still doing GREAT.

Just walked out of the theatre this afternoon during a showing of the film Manchester by the Sea. What an obscene film, the language was appalling and the sound was so loud it made our ears ring. Bad choice of film Quay management, I can't believe we were the only patrons to walk out. We usually love the selection of performances whether plays, ballets or whatever but this in our opinion was a mistake.
