One of my more frequent haunts of yesteryear when around the Black Country. Still worth a visit and supporting with your custom. Indoor Asado Grill sets it apart from other indian dining here in the West Midlands

Tikka is world class. Best around. Shame they've toned the spice down but it still tastes great just not as good as it used to but still the best around so still happy to return on a regular basis.

Great food, well stocked bar. Good service and really well handled Covid19 precautions. One of our favourite places. Highly recommended over all other Birmingham grill houses. A must to go to.

Never tasted Chicken Briyani and Chicken Tikka (of the grill) like the Vine’s anywhere, it’s just unbeatable....

Very mediocre and does not rank close to its rivals. I would not say that this is authentic Indian cuisine at all. It lacks flare, flavour and spice. I was incredibly disappointed with the bar service and waitressing, I get the “your lucky I turned up at work to serve you” impression. I would not return back here by choice. And I’m incredibly confused at what the fuss is about.
We had chicken jalfrezi, absolutely no spice, filled with fool colouring and minimal taste. The mixed grill is served separately on paper plates, on top of lettuce.... if you ask me it’s pointless and very low budget.
One thing I will say is there is a conservatory area, and small rooms. This means you do not leave with the strong lingering smell.
Bradford arms Walsall, unmatchable.

Food was great, we were in a large party of 12 and food was hot and very nice. Only reason I rated 4 was purely price. 90% of other Indian restaurants throw in poppadoms and dips, but not here. £44.35 for 3 adults with no alcohol was steep.

The Vine,,,A Pub With indian Food
It takes a while to suss how it works,, then happy days.We ordered Meat samosas, And spicey fish as starters, Both "OK " Thats allFor Mains,,, Curry Goat,,,, Very very SO SO,,,, Not awfull, But the lowest scoring in recent memory.
And the Achari Chicken Advertised at the bar, and sounding fantastic... In reality it was a "Beginners" Curry, Ok better than the Goat, But nothing specialAfter looking at the Grill, i just had to order a few bits,, Some sort of reallt dry chicken, Plus Chicken Tikka,,Hmm Sadly not as good as it looked, Plus wings, Which were a 5/10 at best Shame as it looked great
The 4 Tunns beer was great though,, All in compared to Lahore The Grill is sadly lacking,,,Bt you have to try these
places.PS Try and get the Old Guy on the grill to smile,,,,, He must be trying really hard to be so miserable! His mate is fine though

My eldest son loves this place, it's quite near the West Brom football ground, so avoid match days, its rammmed. The food is always nice, the chicken tikka is excellent, but they seem to have cut down on the standard pub grub, so if you dont like curry you are quite limited. They have a car park now and don't be fooled by the front of the place,it goes back a long way.
My only reservation is, if you don't have something from the grill, which is cooked to order, the food tends to come very quickly, which for me means it is only warmed up, so for me it seems to be about a quick turn around of customers for them.

Paid a visit to the Vine today as a Luton Town supporter and have to say in over 40 years of going to away games I have never visited a better pre match venue. To see such a mixture of home and away fans all together, enjoying a beer and some fantastic food, was an absolute joy! (Shame about the result) You guys should be proud of yourselves. Couldn’t believe how many people were in there at 12.30 when I arrived. When I got to the front door I thought it was a tiny pub but as I walked through it was like Narnia opening up in front of me! Unfortunately it’s unlikely we’ll be in the same division next season but if we are it’ll be the first away day on my list. Keep up the good work!

We love The Vine. Match day at The Hawthorns and then drinks and food at Roebuck Street is hard to beat. We last went 1 February. However I regret to say that the rudeness of the elderly gentleman at the barbeque again cast a shadow over our visit. I wouldn't tolerate being treated with such contempt elsewhere so why do I put up with it at The Vine? Next time he's rude to me I'll tell him exactly what I think of his behaviour. The rest of the staff are lovely and the food is fabulous.

Went there for my sons birthday meal, had a great meal & service was great as usual.
My daughter had the kids chicken nugget meal (doesn't like asian food) which was more than enough.

Cheers Mark 👍🏻👍🏻

Some of the best Indian food I've had in a long while (that paneer though!) perfectly spiced! Spicy warm, not too hot. Perfect!

The price is hard to beat too!
I'd recommend this place to anyone who likes a little heat 👊

The mixed meat wraps were very tasty but the masala chips are just chips with masala spices sprinkled over them.
I had chicken tikka masala which was ok but seemed to have spices added which made it a bit hot for my liking my wife had a chicken korma but couldn't eat it as it also had a spicy taste which made her mouth tingle which doesn't normally happen apart from that the pub itself had changed drastically since the last time I had been but the beer is worth going for
