I haven't been here since I moved to Amsterdam but when I used to go to away matches with Saints it's my favourite pub for away fans. I cannot stress how good this pub is and how nice the food is. They've got a really slick operation to get everyone fed as well and it's a really nice pub.

Best curry, I've had in ages! My husband use to work near here a couple of years ago and insisted we stop off on the way back to London. Didn't dissapoint.

Love visiting here after work or for the end of year celebrations. The food is soooo good and the staff are always friendly. Small cozy seats in the front, perfect for small groups and bigger more open areas at the back for dining. Plus huge outdoor covered and uncovered seating.

Great place Hiden down a side road, that looks quite small from the outside until u enter and it opens up into an amazing bar, restaurant, BBQ grill area, with an amazing covered outside area as well as an uncovered area. The food and service was excellent.! Can't recommend this place enough 🌟🌟🌟

I have been meeting friends at The Vine for the last 28 years but I have to admit that I was a bit nervous when I went there to meet friends on Sunday 6th. June 2021 because of the Covid restrictions. I need not have worried - every thing was very well organised in accordance with the regulations and Suky was in attendance supervising. I and my two friends felt very safe and thoroughly enjoyed out claypot chicken tika which, I am pleased to say, was well up to the very high standards that we have become to expect from The Vine. More friendly and helpful staff were in attendance which obviously accounted for the modest increase in price - still very good value and quality for money. Keep up the good work Suky - we will be returning again shortly to restart our regular visits.

It was tough to get a table but they had a good call system to let us know once they had a free table.

Food came quite quickly, which was a bonus.
I was surprised that they had no lamb chops on the menu for the mixed grill, a staple for any mixed grill in my eyes!
Would have been nice if they were able to bring the mixed grill on a sizzling plate or something.

We were told sauces don’t come with the food, so ordered extras and ended up with 15 or more sauces between the three of us, a waste of food and money.

The clay pot lamb was the best part, tender, piping hot and tasty.
Sheesh kebab was not tasty at all, red in colour, strange texture and didn’t taste like a proper sheesh. By far the worst sheesh I’ve ever had.

No qualms about the service, second soft drink took a while to come, but it’s understandable when it’s busy. Friendly staff and helpful too.

Pricey for what you get, but it’s post covid I guess.

Would I go again? Probably not, but I’d do a takeaway for the clay pot lamb.

Heard a lot of good things about this place some of our food was really nice some disappointing. Ok, first the good- easy to order for collection through their website and food stayed hot on way home in insulated bags. Tasty chicken tikka and masala chips.
Was kind of expecting the mixed grill to come with fried onions as in other places and was also expecting the Sheesh to be lamb (I think it was chicken) so no lamb in the mixed grill at all. The Chicken Rogan Josh had the weirdest coral pink creamy sauce I have ever seen and didn’t have much flavour.
We asked for a pot of curry sauce and paid an extra £4 on collection but when my husband got home realised it was missing from the order.
It was the first and probably the last time we use them because a £40+ order to eat at home needs to be spot on and it fell short of the mark sadly.

Was great to finally get back to the Vine and have some good food. Pity it had to be outside on a cold rainy April night.

Used to be a wonderful place to eat from. Prices are now a little too high... I guess due to the covid. Food standards are going down slowly too... Improvement to be made and probably will be
