Been here many times. Tikka is the speciality here or in fact anything from the grill. Shame they do a mixed grill but as fabulous as ever

Visited this place with my partner - tasty food! Recommend the chicken off the grill and Sag Panner. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere to go with your friends - we will be back very soon.

What a diamond of a pub this is. Went in before a game at the hawthorns they allow away fans in too. Good range of real ales as well as other beers. The food was fantastic the chicken tikka wrap was excellent. It was that good we went back in after the game until 9.30 and I had the goat curry it was to die for.

Unfortunately we only get to the Vine once or twice a year when we visit shows at the NEC. I have truly never had such superb Indian food- they offer a great choice of popular, traditional and specialty dishes all freshly cooked and delicious. The staff are friendly and efficient- Liam was a great help with deciding what we wanted and pointed us to a very acceptable bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. The owner is usually around with one eye on his paper and the other on his staff and customers - all of which are happy. Truly worth a visit- you will not be disappointed- two minutes off the M5 and you are there.

Change of staff on the face of it but tikka still some of the best you will get anywhere. Onion Bhajis very filling & tasty. Cooking time ok

Came in on a Sunday afternoon, ordered 2 chicken tikka from the grill to start. Chicken was a bit over cooked and wasn’t particularly as great flavoured as I thought it would be.
Sheekh kebab wrap was actually quite nice for the main but my partner ordered a korma which tasted a bit too spicy for a korma which was bizarre as I imagined it to be very mild. Probably would return but maybe order something different on the menu to give the place another go as it’s right next to the Albion and isn’t a bad pub either.

The Vine will always be famous for being one of the first Indian grill houses, and back in the day Indians from all over would visit as there were not many, if any Indian barbecue eateries. But as there are so many littered around the midlands now the place isn’t so exclusive, and the food is lagging well behind some of its rivals. We ordered some barbecued Chicken Tikka along with a Lamb Curry and although the Chicken was above average the curry was poor. It tasted like a pre cooked meal deal you would find in a supermarket, and making this known to the staff made no difference whatsoever. The building itself has grown in size so to accommodate those who visit going off their prior reputation, but unfortunately The Vine is no longer held in the same esteem it once was by myself sorry.

We have visited here many times - special occasions, day time, restaurant and BBQ grill and also before West Brom Matches on match days!
Food always fresh, hot and tasty! Avoid if you are looking for a table on a match day as it gets super crowded... Well deserves 5 stars!

Went here on 4th October
Had a couple of things off the grill which were really nice , had a couple of young children with us who needed high chairs Which were supplied, we had to give them a good clean with wet wipes , also no baby changing facility which is unusual nowadays, overcharged for a round of drinks £12.75 for 1 beer and 3 regular cokes, currys were average and drinks expensive.

Visited The Vine for the first time. It is massive . Once you were told how to order the meal it was fine , the meal it self was ok and served quite quickly. I have had better but for the price was acceptable. Would use again for a quick curry

Best chicken tikka I’ve ever tasted but the two chaps working on the grill were as miserable as sin and bordering on rude as several other reviews also state. The bar staff however were very friendly and working extremely hard. The curries came within minutes of ordering and although we ordered completely different ones they were very similar in look and taste and clearly pre prepared and simply heated up. I’ve been eating curry at least twice a week for about 30 years now so like to think I know what I’m talking about, I had Parthia which I’ve had hundreds of times and it was nothing like what I’d expect Parthia to be like! It’s a unique experience and I’d probably go again as it’s a nice vibe and totally different to a ‘normal’ Indian restaurant but if you want a top quality authentic curry then this isn’t the place for you.

We visited with our 2 young children on a weekend. A weekend football match had just gotten over so the place was busy and lively. Big place with on site parking and many rooms and halls. The atmosphere was good. Our food arrived within less than a minute of ordering at the bar, it was that quick. Quality of food was very good. Family friendly. Would visit again, hopefully on a non football night.

Every time I visit this restaurant with family it never disappoints me! I always get a portion of wings (6) and the naan bread which always leaves me satisfied

What can I say! Don't miss out! This pub does a roaring trade on West Brom football nights. Otherwise, it's fairly quiet. Fab owner hands on manager. You are always looked after. Faultless Asian curries & barbecued meets & fish. This is truly the Jewel in the Crown of Asian food in West Brom.

Recently visited here after a few year's break and returned twice since. Very popular local Indian restaurant with indoor barbecue that's almost an institution. Last time enjoyed a curry with rice but yesterday tried the barbecue and although no ribs available, the fish was very tasty accompanied with salad garnish. We also enjoyed a kebab and pale ale. They serve great movenpick icecream and desserts if you have space! Very diverse client group with small pub rooms the front opening up into much larger 'canteen' type spaces including the indoor barbecue area - couples, families, work colleagues all enjoying the ambience. what's not to like?
