Been going since I was taken when I was little, a pub mixed with the most amazing Indian food. We regularly go, taking friends with us who are amazed every time. Food arrives fast, and the indoor grill tastes amazing. Definitely worth a visit!

The restaurant is a converted pub in an unassuming location that I would never have found without TA. Once inside the staff explained how the ordering and grill worked, I ordered my food which arrived swiftly, piping hot and full of flavour, really difficult to fault it.

Visited this place on the reviews. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. Had the special garlic chicken came out with in ten minutes and was red hot which is always a plus but as for the taste was rather bland. Looked for a grill but it was buy tikka pieces for 4.50 and get a smerk from the chef for four pieces. A mixed grill to me is served on a skillet not a paper place. Other then the food staff was friendly and nice clean place.

Ok visited about a month ago and was pleasantly supprised with the tardis effect and layout of pub, I've had LOTS of grills and Indian BBQ over the years so I know what I like, I was a bit dissapointed that they didn't do a full mixed grill and you had to order it all separately, however we ordered from the moody guy who was in charge of the grill food and promptly got what we ordered, the food was very good and most enjoyable even if a little dryer than I like but quality was excellent.
BUT! Served on paper plates? Really. You want to portray and image of quality? So what's that all about ?Sort it out, will still visit again as it's a nice place and very good in the bbq sector

Not much to say if im I westbrom and want a curry I'll be here. Curries are spot on and the indoor bbq is immense love having the fresh chicken tikka off there. They have a sort of card tab which is cool just dont let it run up as it is pricey food and beer wise. Never the less proper authentic indian cuisine in an authentic english pub.

A spontaneous lunch time visit to The Vine. Was recommended by friends and family to check this place out. Travelled 25 mins to visit this place and wasn't disappointed in the slightest. Food was served very quickly and piping hot. Naan breads were lovely and fresh and very tasty. Service was simple, you order at the bar and your food is brought out direct to your table.
No fuss no hassle just a pleasurable experience. We will defiantly visit again in the future to sample some more dishes.
Don't get put off by the exterior of the building. 😀😀😀😀😀

The Vine as been a favourite of mine for a long time as the food is always fantastic. .
However.. I've noticed recently that the owner seems to be putting the prices up on everything which is bad enough considering they were pretty high anyway, but also your getting less food.. I enjoy the tikka most but on my last visit, there was a lot less than usual. I for one will probably be going elsewhere now as I don't like being ripped off.

My first time visiting this pub and i was very impressed! The food was fresh and came out nicely presented. I opted for a Chicken Tikka Naan Wrap and it was much bigger than i thought it would be. Really tasty and lived up to expectations. Had a vibrant atmosphere and its clear to see this place is extremely popular. I will definitely be returning!!

From the outside you'd be forgiven for dismissing the Vine and walking past..... But step through the door and a delight awaits.
Lots of small welcoming friendly rooms and a bar greet you, delve further in and the place becomes a hive of activity and right at the back an indoor barbecue areas offers freshly cooked meats.
The dining area resembles a school canteen but if you can live with the plain tables and stone floors the food more than makes up for it.
Great authentic food served with no fuss and drama. Hot and satisfying and is good Indian cuisine at its best.
A vast selection of curries to tempt and delight the taste buds..... What are you waiting for? Get yourself down there!!!

Went with a party of people. I think on the whole they were all reasonably happy. The Vine is supposed to sell real ale too, but on this evening there was only one on and it was an unimpressive mild.
The food menu is quite varied and interesting. The quantities are good too. Service is excellent. The salds that come with the starters is fairly huge but tired and uninspiring.
The biggest problem for me was my visit to the toilets before I left. The state of thm made me wonder whether the kitchens were looked after any better. The toilet pan lacked a seat,a nd thw hole place lacked cleanliness. I found this very offputting and will not return.

I like the Vine. I've been here a few times and I've enjoyed the food. The place itself is pretty cool, fairly chilled out and a nice place to come if you're out with friends or partner.
The only problem I really have is that you order curry from the pub (one side) and BBQ i.e. Shish, Chicken Kebabs etc. from the next room which means your meals are never usually ready @ the same time. I'm sure there's ways you can logistically time it so everything's ready together....but I don't think you should have to as a customer, really, and they don't usually tell you if the BBQ food is ready, you just kind of have to go up and ask, half way through eating your curry. I'm sure I'm not the only one who get's annoyed by this.
But, overall I enjoy the food, the BBQ is delicious and cooked right there in front of you. The BBQ kitchen is very impressive and the chefs are always pleasant. it's also a very well-maintained, clean establishment. I will defo go back & maybe next time I can work out a plan on how to order from both places for them to be ready @ the same time :)

My sister arranged a family meal for 11 of us to celebrate my nephew's birthday. When we arrived I wondered whether we had the right place given the location and exterior appearance of The Vine but once we got inside we were pleasantly surprised, really well decorated and almost cavernous in proportion with a grill area right at the back which is where we were seated. A waitress helped us to pull some tables together and we went on to order a variety of dishes from the main menu and grill. I had curry goat which was nice but was a little too bony for me (it does state on the bone so my fault really) and my fiancé and most of my family had tikka from the grill with naan bread whilst the kids had cheesy naans and nuggets etc. I have to say that the atmosphere was cracking and the service great although we did get a bit confused with the waitresses calling out numbers rather than names but it all worked out in the end. All in all it was a lovely meal at very reasonable prices £35 for 3 meals. We will be back :)
